Hint: Quick glide stop:
When gliding in the air after jumping, press A again to immediately stop and drop to the ground.

Hint: Unlimited lives:
Go to the House Of Winter Fairies and from the portal go down until you reach a jar with a life. Enter the portal to go to the house of Autumn Fairies. If you return to the Winter Fairies, you will find the jar again. Repeat the process to get unlimited lives.

Hint: Keep extra lives:
Use the "Unlimited lives" trick to get as many lives as desired, then save the game. If you get stuck on a level, do not save. Instead, quit the game and reopen it. You will have as many lives as you previously saved and be at the same location.

Hint: Easy gems:
When at a world or level, hold R to charge and ram objects. You will get gems a lot easier by doing this. You will also defeat enemies easier, which also have gems.

Hint: Hummingbird Fort: Avoid damage:
If you see a red circle following you, use your charge attack and try to lose it. Otherwise, you will take some damage.

Hint: Market Mesa: Light last candle:
In order to get the final candle lit, go to the start of the level. G left until you are the point where if you were go any further, you will fall and lose a life. Hold L and press Left. At this point you should see a platform. Jump onto the platform then onto the one next to it. You will see the last candle.

Hint: Defeating Grendor:
To defeat Grendor the first time, when he creates fireballs around him, run or charge around him so that the fireballs keep chasing you. The fireballs will eventually disappear, one-by-one. When there is a open space, face Grendor and charge at him. He will look like he is looking up at the sky and saying "Aarrrgh!!!". He will then jump very high and follow you faster than the rocket thing that opponents shoot in a few levels, then drop. He then does it again. Keep repeating this until he is defeated.
