Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective

Play as Genkai:
After you defeat Toguro for the final time with Kuwabara, Rando and Suzaku fight you. After you defeat them, Tarukane will fight you. He is very easy to defeat. After you defeat him, you can play as Genkai in tournament mode.

Hint: Defeating Baldock:
When you first enter Baldock's domain, run into the middle of the clearing. When he flies at you, let him hit you, then turn around and hit him with your Spirit Gun. Do this repeatedly until he is defeated. If you are low on health, run and find a red orb with a question mark on it then touch it. Get the hearts that appear from it. Then, start attacking him again. Once Baldock is defeated, get the experience and go to the top of the clearing.

Hint: Defeating Gouki:
In order to defeat Gouki, hit him with the Spirit Gun. Never get close to Gouki. Just keep walking, and from a safe distance, shoot him. You will eventually defeat him. If you run out of Spirit Power, keep a safe distance from Gouki until your Spirit Power returns, then start shooting again. At the end of the battle, you should have full health.

Hint: Defeating Toguro:
First, hit him as many times as you can. When he starts to hit you with his sword, run down until you reach the bottom of the arena. Next, go left or right to the side and you will see a red ball with a question mark in it. Touch it and you will see hearts. Grab them. Then, go to another side do the same. Get the hearts and hit him until he uses his sword. Then, get more hearts (life) and use your Ultimate Spirit Attack. Then, start to use your regular spirit attack. If you run out of spirit energy, just run around until it is full. Keep doing this to defeat him.

Run down to the health orb (red with a "?" on it) You must stay between it or die. Make sure your main character is at least level 20 to 23 to avoid dying. When you use Sprit Shotgun, save sprit power then just keep using it every chance you get. It requires about 20 to 30 shotgun blasts to kill him. Do not get to close to him, as he does serious damage quickly.

Note: You will unlock a secret tournament after defeating Toguro.

Hint: Defeating Rando and Suzaku:
At the last level when you have to fight Rando and Suzaku, kill Rando first. Then, run down to the bottom screen. Run left or right and you should find a red orb that has a yellowish white-brown question mark. Touch it and one or two hearts should appear. Get them then run to the side that you did not go to and get the health out of that orb. Next, run up to Suzaku and defeat him to get his experience.

Switch to Hiei, go to the left side of the wall, and use the Teleport or Teleslash ability.

Hint: Teleport over ledges:
Hiei can teleport over ledges as long as he cannot see the wall that supports them. Just stand next to the ledge and press B.

Hint: Easy experience:
When you defeat an enemy, switch to the character you want the little experience orbs to go to. This helps your favorite character grow levels without having to actually fight.

After defeating Genbu of the Four Saint Beasts and running into the Fugaki attack (or ambush), switch to a character that needs more experience. Then, defeat them all. After doing so, save and start your game again until reaching the desired strength.

To get easy experience for Kuwabara, get to the stage where you have to beat up the dummy. After defeating it and getting about two level ups, save your stats, then quit. Return to the saved game file. You will still be on that level, with the same amount of experience points.

Use the following trick to get easy experience for Kuwabara. After you win the Genki Tournament, Kuwabara will try to train with a punching bag. Keep fighting until you defeat it. Then, save stats and you can fight the punching bag again for more experience. Repeat this until you reach the desired level.
