Invisible mode:
Hold Select while choosing "Normal"
mode at the selection screen.
Sudden mode:
Hold Select while choosing "Hidden"
or "Random" mode at the selection screen.
Hidden and sudden mode:
Hold Select while choosing "Hidden + Random"
mode at the selection screen. The blue steps will be hidden, and
white and "scratch" steps will be sudden.
Super mystery mode:
Hold Start + Select and press A
at the mode selection screen. The steps of the songs will change,
with random notes being hidden, sudden, and invisible.
Hint: Border bonus:
Select any song in Free or Start Game mode (two-button
configuration recommended). Follow the pattern until you have
one red line on your meter. If done correctly, you will get a
border bonus of 5,730 points.
