talk to the character up there, or you can buy a heart container.

Hint: Unlimited crystals: When you are at a section that has the big crystals
close to the place where you entered, grab it, and leave, then
walk back in. The crystal will have returned. Take it, walk out,
and repeat until you have 999 crystals. Then, go to the hut and
buy as many hearts as desired. Note: Six is the maximum allowed.
