Pokemon Gold/Silver
Set time:
Press Down + Select + B at the
title screen. You will need to enter a password to change the
time, based on your Trainer name, Trainer number, and money. The
password can be calculated here.

An easy way to change the time on the system is to first save
at the time which is easiest for you. Wait until it is that time
in real life (keep the game on) Without saving, turn off the game.
Note: Do not do things you need to save. You should now have the
time set. Note: The game counts days. For example, if you are
one hour behind, you will need 6 days/23 hours of no-save play.
In-game reset:
Press Start + Select + A + B
during game play to reset.

Skip credits:
Press Start + Select + A + B
while the credits are displayed.

Delete and restart game:
Press Up + B + Select or Start
at the title screen. You will be prompted if you are sure you
want to delete your saved game. Select "Yes" and the
menu will no longer have the continue option.

Battle Carrie from Pokemon Stadium
2:
Use the Mystery Gift option in Pokemon Stadium
2 with your Pokemon Gold or Silver. Then, go
to the Viridian City Trainer house. Go downstairs and talk to
the woman. You will then battle the girl from Pokemon Stadium
2, Carrie. She can use one of three teams (consisting of all level
50 Pokemon) chosen at random. The three teams are as follows:

Glitch: Gyarados:
After getting Gyarados, enter your party, and go to
it. The game will state it is Water/Flying, but you cannot teach
him Fly.

Glitch: Stand on rocks:
Destroy a rock with Rock Smash. Walk to where the rock
was located. Save the game, then turn off the Game Boy Color.
When you turn it back on you will be standing on a rock. Note:
This rarely happens.

Glitch: Disappearing person:
When you are near a person, stand beside them. Walk
one step to the right, then two steps up. Pause game play and
the person you were standing near to will disappear.

When you talk to the sailor guarding the entrance/exit
of the S.S Aqua, the world "on" is misspelled as "en".

GameShark codes
New Bark Town again and again:
Note: This trick requires a GameShark
or Pro Action Replay
cartridge and SURF. Enter the code 010182D6 and leave the
GameShark on. Go to New Bark Town and go to the river to the right.
Go up to it and press A. Answer "Yes", then press
A again. Answer "Yes", then turn off the GameShark.
Press A, answer "Yes" again, and SURF all the
way. When you get on the land, keep going right and surfing. You
will notice that the land is glitched. You will be going back
and forth in New Bark Town.

Wild Egg and Struggle (Gold Japanese version):
Note: This trick requires a GameShark
or Pro Action Replay
cartridge. Enter the code 91FDDFD0 and leave the switch
off. Start the game and turn on the GameShark switch. Enter some
wild grass and to fight a wild Egg (the egg you get from that
guy in Kickyou City) that either does not know a move and uses
Struggle or knows Struggle.
