Zero second lap time:
Select trial mode, then press Start + Select + A + B immediately after the flag is waved.

Quick win:
Select championship mode, and get into first place during the race. Press Start + Select + A + B to finish the race in first place.

Select championship mode, and get to a position that you want to stay in. Press Select and the race will quit with you in that position. Note: You must have Red Max (Crimson Haybail).
