Hint: Defeating Bonetail:
In the Tattle Log, you will notice there an empty space
between Gloomtail and Rawk Hawk. This is the space for Bonetail.
Bonetail is the oldest of the dragons. To fight him, you must
go to the very bottom of the Pit of 100 Trials. You must be very
strong, as he is the strongest Boss in the game, and has about
90 battles beaten on you as well. He has 200 HP. If you defeat
him, you will get the Return Postage Badge.
vernanonix.
Hint: Defeating Cortez:
Have Hammer Throw equipped. The first and second form
do not require much strategy. Just use Admiral Bobery's Bomb Squad
and Power Blow on the bone pile. On the third form, switch to
Flurrie and use Gale Force to blow away the weapons. Then, use
Hammer Throw on his skull.
Braveauron.
Hint: Defeating Doopliss (Mario form):
Do not defeat Goombella, because a more powerful partner
will appear. Use Power Blow and Shade Fist on Mario.
Braveauron.
Hint: Defeating Grodos:
Before you battle Grodos, make sure you have 70 to
99 Star Points so that you will level up and be recharged for
the fight with Bowser, which happens immediately afterwards.
Deor9921.
Hint: Defeating Gloomtail:
You should have a Zap Zip Badge and at least 45 Health,
35 Flower Points, and about 30 Badge Power. You should only use
Star Power for Sweat Treat. Use a strong party member and keep
an even pace with your attacks.
Cole Michaels.
Gloomtail, Hooktail's older brother, has 80 HP and 6 ATT power
. Use Power Smash (equip many if you have more than one) and use
Admiral Bobbery to bomb him . This should not take long. Note:
If you have a Feeling Fine Badge, put it on to avoid Poison .
After five to eight turns, Gloomtail will be defeated and you
will get the Star Stone.
Richard Laflamme.
Hint: Defeating Hooktail:
Before fighting Hooktail, get the Sound Changing Badge
in the jail cell at Hooktail Castle. The sound is a cricket noise,
and is Hooktail's weakness.
Linintenn
and Nitro9112.
Hint: Defeating Jabbies:
Use the following trick if you have trouble defeating
the Jabbies in Chapter 2. Use Flurrie as your partner. As soon
as the Jabbies come for you, use Flurrie's ability and blow them
into the wall. This will stun some of them (indicated by a star
above them). The Punies should be able to defeat the Jabbies easily
if this is done correctly.
Brendon.
Hint: Defeating Macho Grubba:
Have the Shrink Stomp and Power Blow badges equipped.
Also, have Yoshi as your partner. At the beginning of the battle,
use Shrink Stomp to lower the damage from his power-upping. Then,
use Yoshi to either appeal or gulp Grubba. Keep hitting Grubba
with Power Blow. If he gets big, Shrink Stomp him again. Earth
Tremor is also useful.
Braveauron.
Hint: Defeating Magnus Von Grapple 2.0:
The crystal-star powered Magus Von Grapple 2.0 is quite
a bit more powerful than the robot's previous incarnation. As
before, the Boss will detach both its fists. Each one is capable
of doing 9 damage/ They strike independently and the body continues
to attack as well. Use Vivan's Fiery Jinx or Yoshi's Stampede
to destroy both fists. When you deplete half of his HP, the boss
starts sucking up members of the audience for its rapid fire machine
gun. Tap A accordingly to guard, but do not just hammer
on the button. Save up some star power to use the Sweet Feast.
Magnus Von Grapple 2.0 has 70 GP, Attack: 6, and Defense: 2.
Stinkytaco.
Hint: Defeating Rawk Hawk:
To defeat Rawk Hawk, you must weaken him (at least
20 HP), then use Shrink Stomp. From then on, use Shrink Stomp
every time he turns normal.
ftep ureyp aaiy, timcastania.
Hint: Defeating the Shadow Queen:
Make sure that you have 60 HP, 60 FP, and 30 BP. When
you fight her just as Peach use Vivian as your partner. Then.
use the spinning jump and Vivian's Shade Fist until the Shadow
Queen turns into her other form. Then switch to Koops. Use his
power shell to attack the hands and the body. Then, use the Power
Smash badge. Also, when she adds 7 more to her next attack, use
either Koops' Shell Shield or Vivians Veil. Make sure both Koops'
and Vivian's level is at the highest. Repeat this and you should
be able to win. Do not forget to heal and make sure you have a
lot of Life Shrooms.
Linintenn.
This Boss has a maximum HP of 150 . In her first form , she has
a max attack of 7 and defense of 0 . Use HP and FP Plus Badges
and Power and Defense Plus Badges to have a better chance . When
she reaches 70 to 80 HP, she turns into her regular form . She
is invincible for four turns, then recovers all health . Then,
a very long intermission sequence will begin and she will be attackable
. Use emergency Sweet Feasts and Supernovas. Her hands are a force
to be reckoned with; try using Admiral Bobbery's Bob-ombast or
Vivian's Fiery Jynx if either is leveled enough . It may require
a few short turns to learn to dodge her attacks . After some steady
battling, you will defeat her.
Richard Laflamme.
This trick requires some attacking items, some recovery items
for backup, Badges of any kind (Close Call, Mega and Power Rushes,
and any others that are powerful and that can make your opponents
miss more recommended), and Vivian. At the beginning, use up your
attacks because your power will recover. When the Shadow Queen
changes into her true form, use anything except items. After the
intermission sequence and Peach giving Mario her power, do the
following. If the Shadow Queen has her big hands, when it is Mario's
turn use Power Smash or Spring Jump (recommended) on the Shadow
Queen, and not the Hands. When it is Vivian's turnm use Fiery
Jynx and that will kill the Hands. When the Shadow Queen uses
her Dead Hands, have Mario either use Fire Drive, an item that
attacks all enemies, Earth Tremor, or Art Attack. When it is Vivian's
turn, have her use Fiery Jynx. This will finish off the Dead Hands.
When the Shadow Queen boosts her attack and defense by three,
have Mario use Power Smash. When it is Vivian's turn, have her
use Fiery Jynx unless there are no Hands of some kind, then use
Shade Fist. When the Shadow Queen does a Super Charge, have Mario
use Power Smash, Spring Jump, an attacking item, or an attacking
Crystal Star Ability. When it is Vivian's turn, have her use Veil.
If Mario has low HP, then use an item or Sweet Feast. If Vivian
is low, give her a weaker item such as Super Shroom or give her
Sweet Feast or Sweet Treat. When the Shadow Queen gets low HP,
have Mario use attacking items. Vivian should either attack, or
use an attacking item, unless the Shadow Queen does a Super Charge.
If that happens, use Veil. After all that, use Supernova and do
a good job of it. Have Vivian attack then finish her off.
mariopokemon.
You must have these badges: Charge, Jumpman, All Or Nothing, Power
Bounce, and two Power Pluses. You must also have Bobbery with
the move Bombast, lots of Life Shrooms and Jammin Jellys, and
enough Badge Power to use all of the badges mentioned. Hit her
first form with Bobbery's Bombast and Mario's Power Bounce until
she changes form. Do not worry about dying, as Life Shrooms will
help. When she changes form, keep using Bobbery's Bombast to blow
away the two hands. In the meantime with Mario, keep using Charge
until you are almost dead. This would be a good time to use Jammin
Jellies. Then, use Power Bounce and she should die in one move.
You do not relay need Power Pluses, All Or Nothing, or Jumpman,
but they make you powerful.
darinslack.
You must have over 100 HP, 10 FP, and 6 BP to do this trick. Put
on Happy Heart and Hammerman (more if wanted). Also have two Shooting
Stars, two Life Shrooms, a Super Shroom, and a Boos Sheet. Use
Vivian for the first form. Use her Shade Fist and Mario's Hammer.
When you finish battling her first form and she goes into her
hard form, swiitch to Bobbery and use his Bomb or Bomb-Obast.
Do not use jumping. It is pointless to use hammer when she powers
up. Switch to Vivian and use Veil. Use Supernova and Art Attack
frequently. Use Sweet Feast only for emergencies. Do not use Superguard,
only regular Guard.
Joseph R.
Use Yoshi and attach Charge P to him. Charged him to the point
that when he attacks it can easily defeat her. Before attacking,
use a Mr. Softener to weaken her defense. When you are charging,
use Mario's Spring Jump. When you are almost out of HP and FP
use Sweet Feast, then very appealing attacks to build star power.
KingNess700.
Use Yoshi (when he is in danger) and put on about twenty Power
Rush Partner badges. Use stampede after the intermission sequence.
She should be defeated after one or two turns.
Have Vivan as you partner and lots of Fire Flowers available in
the final battle against the Shadow Queen. Use Vivan's Jinx to
burn the Queen and take out the little annoying thing that helps
her. When the Queen is burned she cannot attack, as it shorts
out her "wand". On her "powerful" attacks,
she will not attack you, but instead hurt herself by one. This
will save your power for the Bowser battle afterwards.
Galexeyangel.
This trick requires the following: 90 HP, 25/30 FP, 6/9 BP (if
you have an All-Or-Nothing badge then 9 BP); the badges Peeka
Boo, All-or-Nothing, Super Smash, Close Call, and Super Appeal
(if desired); and a Jammin' Shroom, two Life Shrooms, two Shooting
Stars, a Thunder Rage, an Ultra Shroom, two Super Shrooms (for
your partner), a Gradual Jelly or a few Maple Syrups, and (if
possible) a Boos Sheet. If you cannot hold all these items, go
through the Pit Of 100 Trials to level 50 to get a Strange Sack.
This allows you to hold twenty items. You need Vivian as your
partner for the entire time you fight the Shadow Queen. During
the first part of the fight, do not use any items because it will
not have any effect when she turns into her True Form. Do not
use items until the intermission sequence is over. When this happens,
Peach will have given you the rest of her power. Do not use Super
Nova. Only use Sweet Feast when you really need it. Just use Mario's
Super Hammer on the Shadow Queen's body only, and use Vivian's
Fiery Jinx to take out the hands and do extra damage to the Shadow
Queen. She will get burned and take a 1 HP damage after her turn
ends. If the Shadow Queen increases her attack points by +7, then
have Mario use his Power Smash still but use Vivian's Veil to
hide Mario so they do not take a lot of damage (about 14 or 15
attack points. If done correctly, you should be able to defeat
her.
MoeMackie1995.
Hint: Defeating Shadow Sirens:
When facing the Shadow Sirens the first time, have
Flurrie as your partner. Also, have Power Blow and the "health
up" badge. When you start, defeat the fat one. Using Power
Blow and Gale Force is recommended. Then, attack Beldam with Mario's
Power Blow and Vivian with Body Slam.
Braveauron.
Have Koops in front of Mario. It is recommended to have him leveled
up, by Merlin in Rougeport. Have him use his shell attack where
he attacks everyone, then have Mario attack with his jump ability
to hit everyone. Repeat this and you should have them down in
no time. An alternative way is to just pick them off one by one,
as Koop's attack should be two or three. Have Mario hammer away
at them while Koop shell tosses everyone.
Relic.
Hint: Defeating Smorg:
Smorg is a giant creature combined by smaller creatures.
To defeat it, you must first eliminate its tentacles. If you want
to eliminate them quickly, have Vivian use her Fiery Jinx attack.
Once they are gone, all you need to do is hit the pink Smorgs.
When two turns are over it will grow its tentacle back. Reapeat
this method two times. Later instead of growing a tentacle, it
will grow a new hooked shaped tentacle that does 10 damage to
you and your partner. Use Vivian again then Mario's normal jump
to destroy the hook. Keep repeating this to win. Note: The Boss
has 50 HP.
GrandTheftRick.
Hint: Creepy Steeple: Easy Star points:
In the forest before the Creepy Steeple, make sure
you can inflict 20 points worth of damage on one turn (Mario and
partner). When you face a Crayzee Dayzee (on the field), sometimes
an Amazee Dayzee appears. It has 20 HP and 20 attack, and induces
sleep after the first turn. When defeated, they give about 50
Star points. Defeat two for an instant level up.
VideoGuru153.
Super Hammer the Boos' when they get on you. The Atomic Boo will
give you some points.
Mariofreak290.
Hint: Creepy Steeple: Atomic Boo and Lucky
Start badge:
After you have freed the Boos, stand still in the main
room. Wait for some Boos to start sticking to you, then use your
Super Hammer attack to shake them off. Do this twice and the Boos
will get mad and form the Atomic Boo. When defeated, he will drop
the Lucky Start badge. This is required if you want to fill up
your Tattle Log and get all badges.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Fahr Outpost: Use cannon:
To get permission to use the cannon, you must find
Goldbob and General White. First, take the Excess Express to Poshley
Heights. You will not have to fight anything. You will find Goldbob
in the bottom left corner of the area. Talk to him, and he will
ask how much you want to use the cannon by asking you for money.
Answer "Everything I have!" and he will ask you if your
absolutely sure. Answer "Yes, I'm sure" to all his questions.
He will take the money, give permission, and return your coins.
He only wanted to test you. Use the blue warp pipes in the Rogueport
Sewers (if desired) to get to the places where General White was
seen:
1. Go to Petalburg and talk to the Koopa at the west entrance.
2. go to Keehaul Key and talk to Pa-Patch.
3. Go to Glitzville and talk to the juice shop owner.
4. Go to Twilight Town and talk to the man by the inn.
Then, return to Fahr Outpost and tell the Mayor you could not
find him. As you talk, you will see General White. He will walk
into his house, which is the one on the far right of the cannon.
Go into his house and talk to him. He will be asleep. Say "Yes"
to wake him up. He will not awaken, but if you keep trying without
giving up, he will eventually wake up. With his permission, return
to the mayor. He will guide you to the center of town where you
will fall into a hole into a much bigger (and more impressive)
cannon. Note: You must talk to the people at the places listed.
You cant skip any of them.
Boo858585.
Hint: Glitz Pit: X and d-e-a-d-m-e-a-t:
In the Glitz Pit, Rawk Hawk will enter into the minor
league. Your partner will notice a fake crystal star on his belt.
He or she will wonder where the real crystal star is. Soon, scary
music will play. It is your Mailbox SP. Someone named X will give
you a star, if you follow X's instructions. After a few instructions,
a man will e-mail you, saying to keep your nose out of things
or you are d-e-a-d-m-e-a-t. He will then say to stop collecting
crystal stars or you will disappear. First, talk to the juice
bar manager to get a Super Hammer. All instructions are obvious
and easy until you get a key for the storage room. Use Flurrie
to blow the covers off the blocks. The blocks are vulnerable to
your hammer. Break them to find a switch. Pull it and climb the
stairs. Fall in the vent after talking to King K and Bandit. Then,
go to the right and look in the hole.
GameboyCastle.
Hint: Glitz Pit: Easy Star points:
When you get into the Glitz Pit, fight until you are
near rank 7 or 8. You should now be fighting "the fuzz".
Kill the black Fuzzie that has 3 HP then kill the Flower Fuzzy
(pinky). Next, keep the green one near 1 HP remaining. He will
split in two. Kill one of them (always leave one alive). It also
helps when you have Koops out for a partner. Just leave Mario
in front and Koops in back and use his Shell Shield (new attack
when you upgrade him). Every time that it breaks, put a new one
on. It helps to have some Happy Heart or Happy Flower badges equipped.
Keep doing this and you can get 50 Star points in about five minutes.
Chris Robinson.
To get more Star Points, go to the Glitz Pit and battle your way
up and face Rawk Hawk again.
Mariofreak290.
Fight your way to rank 8 and your next battle will be the Fuzz
(rank 7). Kill the Black Fuzz and the Pink Fuzz and leave the
Green Fuzz. Let him multiply to about four or five. Kill as many
as desired, but always leave at least two. This gives them a better
chance of multiplying. Do this until you have 95 to 99 Star Points,
but do not level up. Then, get into the same battle and get 100
Star Points. This should not take that long. Continue doing this
until each Green Fuzz only gives 2 SP. If done correctly, you
can grow about four levels and have about 90 to 99 Star Points
remaining.
Matt Lampman.
Hint: Glitz Pit: Get Yoshi:
Whenever you fight Iron Clefts you will lose. Go outside
the Glitz Pitz and you will see a egg hopping get it. Fight Iron
Clefts again and you will lose. Go back and your egg will have
hatched. It is a Yoshi. You will get to name it.
dillon whaley
Hint: Glitz Pit: Mario vs. Donkey
Kong reference:
Go to the main backstage hallway, near the ceiling.
You will see a blue and yellow present in a metal box connected
to a pipe.
Diane Cook.
Hint: Glitz Pit: Fight Rawk Hawk multiple
times and a free bed:
After completing Chapter 3 (in Glitzville), you will
be reset in the rankings for the Glitz Pit. Fight your way all
the way to the top again and defeat Rawk Hawk. You will then have
access to the Champion's Room as long as you do not lose another
fight. If you make a challenge, you will fight Rawk Hawk and be
instructed to use a special attack in every battle (however, it
does not matter if you do not). You will be given 20 coins in
prize money every time that you win. Also, in the Champion's Room
there is a bed that restores you completely (HP, FP, and Star
Points).
vernanonix.
Hint: Glitz Pit: Angry Rawk Hawk:
After you sign into the Glitz Pit and win a few fights,
enter the main lobby to see Rawk Hawk being adored by his fans.
Use Mario's Hammer or Flurrie to get rid of the fans. When all
of them are gone, Rawk Hawk will get mad and scold you.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Glitzville: Second cake:
In Glitzville (Chapter 3), when you get to rank 6 someone
will leave you cake. Eat it and it will heal you. However, when
you get to rank 3, do not eat the cake that is waiting for you.
It is poisonous, and if you eat it your party members will not
be able to fight with you during the next round.
KYLEB12.
Hint: Glitzville: Defeating the two Iron
Clefts:
In Glitzville (Chapter 3), when you get to rank 11
you will face two unbeatable clefts. Without the Yoshi in your
party, you must run away. However after that match, when you get
Yoshi, face them again. Use Yoshi's Gulp attack to defeat them.
KYLEB12.
Go to the badge shop in Rougueport. You may find be a badge called
Piercing Blow. It automatically goes through the enemy's defense
and will help you defeat the Iron Clefts.
hypersonic_13.
Hint: The Great Tree: Get a Jabby:
When you get inside The Great Tree (level 2), go to
the room between the two rooms where you fight Jabby swarms. Go
to the far left wall after dropping to the bottom of the area.
Use Flurrie to blow at the wall and a secret doorway will open
up, revealing a shop. Go to the far left end of the shop, climb
onto the log, and drop behind it. There will be a baby Jabby there.
Flurrie will say something similar to "Oh my! Let's leave
the poor thing alone. After all, he's just a kid." Respond
by saying something like "Aww, okay". The baby Jabby
will follow you for the rest of the chapter with the rest of the
punies.
Hannah Crawford.
Hint: Hooktail's Castle: Easy upgrade:
To upgrade your party members twice, go to Hooktail's
Castle. At the room where the ceiling closes in on you with spikes,
at the end it there is a wall that can be blown up. Use Admiral
Bobery to blow up the wall. Inside is an Up Crystal. Give it to
Merlin and then you will be able to upgrade your partners twice.
Linintenn.
Hint: Hooktail Castle: Paper Mario
reference:
The corpse in Hooktail Castle has the name Kolorado
in it. He was a Koopa in the original Paper Mario.
Hint: Keelhaul Key: Easy HP and FP:
Once you reach Keelhaul Key, go behind the mountain
near the harbor. A blue mole (Whakka) should appear. Hit him once
with your hammer, Koops, or Admiral Bobbery. He should make a
remark like, "OW! That hurts!" or something similar.
He will leave an item that heals 25 HP and FP called the Whakka
Bump. Keep going into town (or in the cave nearby when you blow
a hole into it) and return. Whakka will reappea. You can keep
hitting him for more items. However, be careful. Once he starts
singing, that will be the last time you will see him after he
is hit.
PuppetPower1000.
Hint: Keelhaul Key: Easy Star Points:
Battle the Fuzzy Guys and leave one left. They should
multiply. Then, kill them and you get Star Points, thus making
you level up faster.
Michael Gustafson.
When on Keelhaul Key, you may encounter a Green Fuzzy (and some
other enemies). You can use any partner for this trick. Take out
the other enemies, then drop the Green Fuzzy's HP down to 1. Then,
if he multiplies, the original and the copy will each have 1 HP
remaining. Take out one of them, and leave the one Green Fuzzy
there. If the original attacks however, do not Superguard against
it. Use a regular Guard so that it will take 2 HP away from you.
It can help to have 1 or 2 Happy Heart and Happy Heart P badges
equipped. Keep letting the Fuzzys multiply until you get the desired
amount of Star Points. Each Green Fuzzy you kill will give you
3 Star Points.
Power Gamer 2.
Hint: Keelhaul Key: Easy money:
When you go to Keelhaul Key, go left out of the village.
Go up as far as you can. A mole will pop up out of the ground.
Hit the mole with the hammer and you will receive a Whacka-Bump.
Exit the area, then hit him again. Repeat this until your inventory
is full. When it is, go to the shop and sell them. You will receive
50 coins for each Whacka-bump. This will only work a certain number
of times.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Keelhaul Key: Yoshi calls Mario by
his first name:
After you have defeated Cortez, while battling Lord
Crump make sure Yoshi is out when you defeat him. When Cortez
is about to take you home Yoshi calls you "Mario" instead
of "Gonzales".
Brad Coulter.
Hint: Mario's maze:
When underground in the Thousand Year Door level, you
will reach a part where if you make a wrong move you will end-up
at the beginning. There are four doors. Never go back, so there
are really only two to choose from. First, take the one straight
across the room, then again in the next room. In the third room,
go upstairs to the door facing the right-hand side. In the fourth
room, do the same thing. Then in room 5, take the bottom right-hand
door. In room 6 take the top right-hand door. Finally, in room
7 take the bottom right-hand door. Quickly save the game, as you
will face four Bosses. Stock up on health supplies and thunder
items.
Cole Michaels.
An easy way to get through the maze is when you see candle lights
on the wall. The real door will have a candlelight lighten up.
It will either be the top right or bottom left. If the bottom
left does not have any candle light up, it will be the top one
and vice-versa.
Ryan.
Hint: Moon: Go to Rougeport:
When in the X-Naut Fortress, get the elevator key.
Go to the elevator and travel to sublevel two. Then, go to the
right and enter the door.
Mark Leach.
Hint: Palace Of Shadow: Extra Defense Badges:
In the Palace of Shadow (Chapter 8), you will enter
a big room with two Black Chomps guarding a Recover and Save Block.
If you fight the one on the right, you will discover a Black Chomp
with a Defend Plus badge. Use Ms. Mowz's Kiss Thief ability to
acquire it. Then, leave the Palace Of Shadow entirely (by exiting
the Thousand Year Door) and re-enter. Both Black Chomps will have
respawned, and the one on the right has a Defend Plus P for your
partner.
Hint: Palace Of Shadow: Dry bones crunch:
In the room with the dark bones, do not stand idle
or the dry bones will push you into the middle. Then the dry bones
on the other side will push you into the middle. If that happens
and you wait too long, you will be crushed and the game will end.
KingNess700.
Hint: Palace Of Shadow: Game over before
final Boss fight:
During the intermission sequences before you fight
the Shadow Queen, she will ask you if you want to join her. Make
sure you saved the game before the intermission sequences. If
you choose "Yes", you will get a strange ending to the
game, in which you join the Queen, and get a "Game Over".
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Petalburg: Unlimited Turtly Leaves:
After plucking one leaf in front of the pink house,
go left across the bridge. Return to the pink house and pluck
more. Keep doing this to get unlimited Turtly leaves. Take the
Turtly Leaves to Zest T.'s house in Rogueport to the left of the
item shop. He will turn the leaves into Koopa Tea, which is better
than Turtly Leaves. Koopa Tea gives you 7 FP and Turtly Leaves
only give you 3 FP.
Josh.
Hint: Petalburg: Unlimited Coins:
Go to the Rougeport store and buy as many as Sleep
Sheep as you can (8 Coins each). Then, go to Petalburg. Go to
there store and sell all of your Sleep Sheep for 10 Coins. This
process takes awhile, but is well worth it.
Neal Cunanan.
Note: You can also store the Sleep Sheep inside storage and go
to the store in Petalburg. This will cut down time and result
in an easier 2 Coin profit.
A_ZRich.
Hint: Pinta Parlor: Get a prize:
When you gamble in the slot machine, listen to the
music on it. When you hear the end of the jingle and it starts
again, press A. Do this two more times and you will get
a prize of some kind.
brandon sellers.
Hint: Pit Of 100 Trials: Easy money:
With Ms. Mowz in your party and in the Pit Of 100 Trials,
after about level 40, enemies will start to hold badges every
so often. If you steal them with Ms. Mowz's Kiss Thief, you can
sell them for about 100 to 250 coins.
VideoGuru153.
Hint: Pit Of 100 Trials: Easy Star Points:
Once you get far enough in the Pit Of 100 Trials, you
may see a Green Fuzzie. Get rid of every enemy and get the Green
Fuzzie's HP down to 1. Wait for it to make another Green Fuzzie.
It will have one life; all you have do is attack it. Make sure
that you only get to 99 Star Points or else the star points probably
will not work.
atk.
To earn a lot of Star Points and perhaps get through the first
70 levels of the Pit Of 100 Trials faster, use Flurrie's "Gale
Force" attack. This attack will eliminate most or all of
the enemies in one turn and you will still receive Star Points.
However to be safe, make her go first and eliminate any surviving
enemies with Mario and bring a lot of FP restoring items.
Bulldog12344321.
Hint: Pit Of 100 Trials: Easy completion:
You must get more than 600 coins (try to sell badges
that requires 3 or more BP to get large amounts of coins), two
Jamming Jellies and two Ultra Shrooms. You can buy them in the
west side in Rogueport. Convert in paper mode and then fall to
the sewers. Both items cost 200 coins. Then, get two Fire Flower
and two Cake Mix. Next, buy two Life Shroom, four Super Shroom,
and four Maple Syrup. Cook the two Jamming Jellies with Ultra
Shrooms, the Fire Flowers with the Cake Mix, and the Super Shroom
with the Maple Syrup. You will get:
Ultra Jelly: Recovers 50 HP and 50 FP (x2)
Fire Pop: Recovers 20 FP (x2)
Life Shroom (the two you buy): Recovers your HP by 10 when you
fall (x2)
Super Maple: Recovers 10 HP and 10 FP (x4)
With this equipment, it is difficult to lose. It is recommended
that you first defeat the Shadow Queen before completing the Pit
Of 100 Trails.
brigtaylorx2.
Equip at least ten Power Rush badges (can be bought at the Pianta
Parlor), one Multibounce badge, and one Power Bounce badge (equipping
more than one Multibounce or Power Bounce raises the FP cost and
will only harm you). Enter the Pit Of 100 Trials. Let the first
enemy (a Gloomba) attack you until your HP is between 1 and 5.
Since you are now in danger, your Power Rush badges will activate.
For each one you have on, your attack increases by two. Your attack
should now be near 30; at the beginning of each fight use Multibounce
and you will kill everything as long as you hit your action commands
correctly. You will fight Bonetail on the 100th floor. For this
fight use Power Bounce. If you do your action commands well enough,
you should easily do over 100 damage in your first attack. If
your Goombella has Rally Wink, use that to give Mario another
turn and finish off the final Boss without taking a hit. Note:
This is very dangerous -- if you ever miss an action command you
will most likely be killed. Bring along some Life Shrooms and
equip a Chill Out badge if you are afraid of first strikes.
You should only attempt this area after defeating Grodus. You
will need to buy as many Ultra Shrooms and Jammin' Jellies as
you can from the underground item shop. Take them to Zess T. and
mix them to make Jelly Ultras. You should also take a few Super
Shrooms for your allies, and perhaps a Life Shroom. If you are
having trouble holding items, go into the Pit of 100 Trials on
a test run and try to make it to floor 60 or 70 (out of 100).
You will find the Sack upgrade that allows you to carry twenty
items instead of only ten. It is important to know what to do
in here. Be ready with the items above before jumping down the
tube. Once on a floor you will have to fight your way to the next
floor. There is only one fight on each floor. If you win the fight
a tube will appear to take you to the next floor. At floors 10,
20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 you will find a giant chest
with something in it. Most of the contents are badges and one
is the Sack upgrade. You may also find a Puni Mover or a Salesman.
These floors are the only ones that can have Salesmen and they
are rare. Salesmen sell healing items and offensive items, but
at very high prices. Puni Movers offer you three choices: Spend
10 coins to jump down two floors without battling; spend 30 coins
to jump down five floors without battling; or spend 10 coins to
escape to the surface. Puni Movers appear on random floors and
will not be accompanied by enemies. After getting the chest item,
hit the blue block to make the pipe appear to go down. There will
be a pipe to escape to the surface on these floors as well. Floors
mimic as follows. Floors 1 and 6 have the same monster, as do
Floors 2 and 7, etc. Floors 1 through 10 have easy monsters and
Floors 80 through 99 have difficult monsters. Floor 100 is the
home of Bonetail the Undead Dragon. He is brother to Gloomtail
and Hooktail, and much stronger than them. You must have items
left over for this fight. His main three attacks are: Random Breath
(poison, ice, fire); foot stomp; and bite. After defeating him
you will receive a gift in a chest and a pipe to the surface.

Hint: Pit Of 100 Trials: Easy travels:
In the Pit Of 100 Trials is a badge called Bump Attack.
It is in the 80th area. If you wear the Heart Finder and Flower
Finder badges with it, your weaker enemies will spew flowers and
hearts to help your FP and HP without battling.

you may battle Gloombas. These are the same color as the Goombas
in World 1-2 of Super Mario Bros.
Hint: Poshley Heights: Dangerous swimming
pool:
Go behind the blue house to find a swimming pool. If
you jump in, you will get bit by a metal fish. They will take
1 HP from you.
Jim.
Hint: Professor Frankly's House: Enemy
tattle log information:
If you defeat a Boss or enemy that you fight once (for
example, Hooktail, Red Bones, Gus, etc.), and you do not tattle
on them, you can get their information by looking in the yellow
trash can in Professor Frankly's house. The log will only appear
in the trash once you've gone past the last possible point to
Tattle that enemy.

Hint: Rogueport: Secret door:
In Rougeport, go east to where the bandit stole your
coins. Go up and through the wall.
Rene Campos.
Hint: Rogueport: Back of bulletin board:
After you complete a chapter, go to the center of Rogueport.
Go to the bulletin board on the left, in front of Zess T.'s house
and the Mushroom Bros. Store. Go behind it, and there will be
a graffiti corner. There will always be a comment related to the
chapter that you have completed. It might not appear instantly,
but if you go to the Trouble Center and the West Side of Rogueport,
it will appear.
Alissa Carnicelli.
Hint: Rogueport: Back entrance to Trouble
Center:
Slip through the crack between Bobbery's House and
the Trouble Center. Stand next to the crack and use Flurrie's
gust. A door will be revealed. Inside is Goose, the guy who runs
the Trouble Center.
Hint: Rogueport: Hidden crystal star:
Go in front of Franky's house and do a Power Bomb.
Note: You must get the new shoe from Chapter 2.
Patty Sepe.
Hint: Rogueport: Free entry:
Just outside of Rogueport Plaza, a Robbo named Gus
will be blocking a doorway. He will ask you for ten coins. Tell
him that you can take him. He will want to battle you. He will
be carrying a spear; do not jump on him or you will take damage.
If you defeat him, he will run away and you will be able to get
in for free for the rest of the game.

Hint: Rogueport: Cheating the lottery:
At the lottery at Rogueport, change your system date
to the next day to cheat the lottery. However, if you do this
a second time you will be fined 500 coins for cheating.
Michael

Hint: Rogueport: Unlimited Mystic Eggs:
Once you have the Super Hammer go to Rugeport Sewers.
Enter the sewers on the east side of Rougeport. Enter the tube
to the right of you, with the gate in front of it. Then, walk
down the stairs or go through the gate using Paper mode. Go left
and move through the door . Smash the big yellow block and jump
on the elevator. Take a left and jump into the blue tube. You
should appear at the Great Tree. Go inside and talk to the girl
Punie with the pink dot on its head. She will want to play a game.
You will be asked to make up an easy question. Select "Mario
likes which person the most?" She will say "Oh that's
easy. It's Princess Peach. Thanks for playing." She will
give you a Mystic Egg. Exit the Great Tree and go back in the
tube. Then, go back in the tube and return to the Great Tree.
Do the same thing again. You can repeat going through the tubes
as many times as desired. However, she will only play if you have
left the tree and went inside the tube. If you just stand there
talking to her, she will only say "Thanks for playing come
again!". Mystic Eggs only give you 5 HP, but they make great
recipes. Note: If she did not say that she wanted to play a game,
you probably need to get farther in the game.
daniel klausing.
Hint: Shadow Palace: Classic Mario reference:
Listen carefully to the music inside the Shadow Palace,
you will notice that it is a slower remix of the classic Mario
"pipe" theme (like the one in Super Mario Sunshine
inside the pipes, or in Super Mario 64 in Hazy Maze Cave).
Edwin Ireson.
Hint: Shwonk Fortress: Needle ceiling puzzle
solution:
On one of the floors of Shwonk Fortress, you will find
a representation of the "needle ceiling" puzzle in Hooktail's
Castle. The purple areas are where Mario can walk after the needles
have lifted from the floor.
Michael

Hint: Trouble Center: Ms. Mowz:
In story mode, you will get six characters (Goombella,
Koops, Madame Flurrie, Yoshi, Vivian, and Admiral Bobbery). However
after Chapter 4, go to the Trouble Center and take the chore of
the mystery person. You will figure out that it is the mouse thief
and when the mission is over you get the partner Ms. Mowz.
Linintenn
and Michael Valenzuela.
After Chapter 4, a trouble in the Trouble Center that has the
recipient, ???. It is Ms. Mowz. She needs a badge in Hooktail
Castle. In the room where you fought her, in the middle is an
invisible chest. Use Flurrie. Give the badge to her, and she will
join your party.
VideoGuru153.
To get the the Attack FX Y bade for Ms. Mowz, go to the roof of
Zess T.'s house by going into the Inn. Go upstairs and through
the door on the left. Ms. Mowz will be there. Ms. Mowz, the racy
rodent robber from Rogueport, needs you to bring her an elusive
badge. Rumor has it that somewhere in Hooktail's Lair, where a
chest is located. Travel back to the top of Hooktail Castle and
switch to Flurrie. Power up her mighty lungs and it will reveal
a chest. Note: It may take a few attempts to get to the correct
area in the top of Hooktail Castle. When you take the badge to
Ms. Mowz, she will confess her motive, then join your party.
Gsisland81192.
To get Ms. Mowz to join your party, go to the Trouble Center after
finishing anything after Boggly Woods. Take on the trouble of
??? Elusive Badge. You must meet Ms. Mowz on top of Zess T.'s
house. Get there by going to the top floor of the Inn in Rougeport
and walk out the door to the left, passing the badge shop. Then,
proceed to talk to Ms. Mowz. She tells you to go to Hooktail's
lair (where you defeated him). Walk to the center of his lair
and an exclamation mark should appear on Mario's head. Use Flurrie
to blow it away and open the chest that is revealed. You will
receive Attack FX B Badge. Return to the same location where you
made contact with Ms. Mowz. She will take it, thank you, then
give it back and join your party.
Fingyer.
Hint: Trouble Center: Hot Sauce:
Go to the Trouble Center and scroll down to the bottom.
It will state that the businessman from the Excess Express has
forgotten his code for his briefcase. Meet him in Gilzville, where
he tells you that he loves chairs, and also that the briefcase
has four numbers. The first number is how many chairs are in Mayor
Kroops' house (two). The second is Floire's house (six). The third
number is Don Pianta's house (two). Finally is Tootle's house
(five). Return to Gilzville and tell him "2625". His
briefcase will open and you will receive Hot Sauce, and cab buy
some for ten coins.
Andrew.
Hint: Twilight Town: Getting there:
Go to the west side of Rogue Port by the parlor. Go
over to a man hole cover then turn sideways and slip through.
When you reach the bottom, go left, then into a door with a pipe.
It will not let you down. Go to Professor Flwick. Then, get out
of his house, remain close to the wall, and find a gap to go in.
Go in and talk to a man in the dark. Then, go back and go down
the pipe.
Blaze.
Hint: Twilight Town: Letter p:
The person who stole Body's name is Doopliss, but there
is no lower case "p". Go to the creepy steeple outside
the place. Go down the well. Go as far as you can until you reach
a gate-like object. Push it, then use Vivian's ability to go under
it. Slide down the hill and get the letter "p". Guess
his name and he will run away. Go to where you first met him,
then defeat him. Do not bother attacking his partners. Defeat
him to get your body back. Get the crystal star to complete Chapter
4.
Christopher Watkins.
Hint: Twilight Town: Easy Amayzee Dayzee:
Go to the area where you first enter the woods in Twilight
Town (where you see your first Crazee Dayzee, at the area just
after you take the warp pipe). The first Crayzee Dayzee is special
-- do not kill it. Enter a battle with him. Most likely, there
will not be an Amayzee Dayzee in the battle. If there is not,
run away from him and go back towards the warp pipe, leaving the
area. Turn back around after leaving the woods and go back in.
The Crazee Dayzee will still be there (if you did not kill him).
Enter a battle with him again. Repeat this until you find an Amayzee
Dayzee. They are worth about 50 Star points.
KirbysDragon7.
To get started, increase your jump power as much as possible,
by equipping badges such as Power Plus, P-Up, D-Down, Jumpman,
and All or Nothing. It is vital that Mario's jump attack in particular
is as powerful as possible. Just in case it is not enough by itself,
you might may to think of equipping a few Power Plus P and a P-Up,
D-Down P badges. The Amayzee Dayzee is quite fond of avoiding
the spotlight, and will often escape after one turn of Mario and
his partner. Another few optionals are Lucky Start, Flower Saver,
and Spike Shield (for spiky Goombas). The former will often recover
Mario's FP, helping to further diminish the need of any recovery
items. A good choice of partners is Yoshi, who makes a good back-up
in the event that you cannot take out 20 HP by Mario alone. Enter
the Twilight Forest and try to avoid the first Dayzee you encounter.
Instead, initiate combat with the Dayzee in the background and
towards the left by jumping or ground stomping. Assuming there
is not an Amayzee Dayzee sparkling in the furthest back row (which
is likely), run away and exit to the left. There is another Dayzee
here, making this an ideal "hunting" location. Basically,
go back and forth entering battle and running away if you do not
see a sparkling golden Dayzee. When you finally do, which should
not take much time, use Mario's Spring Jump on the Amayzee in
the back row and, especially if you have All Or Nothing equipped,
make sure to time your action commands correctly. With Ultra Boots
and badges, Mario can do 20 damage (10 for the first jump, and
10 on the rebound), instantly killing the Dayzee. If Mario is
not strong enough, use Yoshi's Ground Pound, which will hopefully
make up enough damage with any partner badges you have equipped.
Finish off any other enemies and reap the benefits. The Amayzee
Dayzee gives about 50 Star Points at level 25, and over 30 after
Mario levels beyond 30. Basically, if you have already gone through
the Pit Of 100 Trials (which also features a few Amayzee Dayzees),
this is the best method to level up. After you have found and
defeated the two Amayzee Dayzees, you can go after the Dayzee
near the entrance to Twilight Forest. Also, do not forget that
you can find one grouped with the Hyper Cleft (mean green rock)
on the way to Creepy Steeple. There may be an Amayzee Dayzee in
the back when it is encountered. Note: You can make the Dayzees
respawn by walking two rooms away then going back. For example,
use the path to walk toward Creepy Steeple, which is two rooms
away from the closest Dayzee. Repeat the above strategy to level
up quickly.
Hint: Twilight Town: Secret Ultra shroom:
Once you get through the gate, there will be a yellow
box to smash. Smash the box, then jump on top of it. Once on top
of it, jump again. You will find another yellow box with a super
shroom in it.
AAZay4000.
Hint: Twilight Trail: Easy Star Points:
After Chapter 8, it is difficult to get Star Points.
Go to the Twilight Trail and kill everything there until you find
an Amazing Dazy. Then, use everything you have to kill it. If
you make a mistake, it will run away or hit you for 20 points.
To defeat it, try using Art Attack or Supernova. After defeating
it, you will get about 38 Star Points.
cole michaels.
Hint: Twilight Trail: Easy completion:
In Chapter 4, use Madame Flurrie's Gale Force to make
Dayzees, Clefts, and Goombas dizzy. By doing this, you can avoid
fighting them.
Jakester.
Hint: X-Naut Fortress : Classic Mario:
To turn yourself into the Mario from Super Mario
Bros., go to the X-Naut Fortress and go to the room where
you have to Spring-Jump through the air vent. Spring-Jump up there,
then move to the right. Go into paper mode by holding R
and fall through the vent. You will land in the second changing
curtain. When you open it, Mario and all of his partners will
be NES characters. The Mario theme will also play. When you exit
the room, the music will stop and you and your partners will revert
back to normal.

Hint: Egg Bomb:
Give Zess T. a Mystic Egg and a Fire Flower (after
you give him the book) to get an Egg Bomb.
Tyler Schommer.
Hint: Fried Egg:
Give a Mystic Egg to Zest T. He will give you a Fried
Egg, which heals 10 HP.
Hint: Wario clothes:
To get Wario's clothes for Mario, go to the central
area of Rougeport with 360 Coins. There should be a merchant with
a large mustache. He sells something called a Wario Emblem from
time to time. It is a badge that requires no badge points to wear.
Craig Weier.
Hint: Luigi clothes:
To get Luigi's clothes, go to where you get the sixth
crystal star. From here, do a spring jump up to a pole on the
left side. Do another spring jump to reach a ledge with the Luigi
Emblem.
Craig Weier.
Hint: Waluigi clothes:
Equip both the Luigi Emblem and the Wario Emblem at
the same time. Your clothes will be exactly like Waluigi's.
Craig Weier,
Michael Valenzuela, and Jory Stanley.
Hint: Alternate character clothing:
Equip the L Emblem badge to wear Luigi's clothing (green
and blue). Equip the W Emblem badge to wear Wario's clothing (yellow
and purple). Equip both badges to wear Waluigi's clothing (black
and purple). The L Emblem badge either in Poshley Sanctum or its
reverse self (in painting/mirror). The W Emblem badge is sold
by the Salesman in Rougeport Square randomly. Both badges use
0 BP.
Chrisaug89.
Hint: Change Peach's hairstyle:
Any time that you are playing as Peach, go to the bathroom.
The bathroom is the door next to you. You will see a shower with
a pink shower curtain. Go behind the shower and an exclamation
mark appears. Have Peach take a shower. When she is done, notice
that her hair looks strange. Turn Peach around and her hair will
be in a ponytail. Note: Once you walk out of the bathroom, her
hair will return to normal.
Maddie Keene
and Michael Valenzuela.
Hint: Jump on spiked enemies:
Normally, you will hurt yourself when jumping on spiked
enemies. When you get Vivian go into the sewers and have Flurrie.
Reveal the hidden pipe and go down it. You will enter a room where
the floor has spikes going up and down. Change Flurrie to Vivian
and go on the floor when the spikes are down. When you think the
spikes will come up, press X and Vivian will take you under
the spikes, then come up when they go down. At the end of the
room is a chest with the badge that lets you jump attack spiked
enemies and not get hurt. Unfortunately it does not help you get
across the spiked floor. Repeat the previous technique to get
back out.
Alectricboy.
Hint: Punching men:
When you talk to the old mushroom man, look at the
wall with graffiti. Two men will walk out, punch somebody, and
run off.
Miles.O.
Hint: Embers, Lava Bubbles, and Phantom
Embers gain HP:
If you use Vivian's Fiery Jinx on Embers, Phantom Embers,
or Lava Bubbles, they will gain HP instead of losing it.
GrodusLand101.
Hint: Do not read the diary:
In Chapter 6 (when you are on the train), when you
find the ghost in room 004 he will ask you to get his Ragged Diary
and warn you not to read it. When you get the diary in the Excess
Train's Baggage Cart, do not read it. If you do, the ghost will
appear out of nowhere, be very made, and curse Mario, earning
you an instant game over. You must restart at the last save point.

Hint: Do not become the Shadow Queen's
servant:
In the last chapter when you are going to fight the
Shadow Queen, she will ask if you want to become her servant.
Answer "No". If you answer "Yes", the game
will automatically end.
KYLEB12.
Hint: Star pieces:
In the main area, use Ground Pound in front of the
gallows. If done correctly, you will either see a plate form jump
up or a Star piece will come out of the ground.

Hint: Powerful Mario:
This trick can make Mario almost invincible. Make sure
you have 30 BP (badge points). To do this, go to the wizard in
the Rogueport Sewers who can change your HP (heart points), FP
(flower points), or BP into one another. To get to him, use Admiral
Bobbery to blow up the crack that is next to the first pipe you
come through to get into the sewers. Go through the pipe to get
to his house. A lot of money us required. First, convert all of
your HP to BP until you get 5 HP. If you still have more than
5 HP after your BP is at 30, convert it to FP. Go to the Pianta
Parlor in Rogueport and get as many blue Pianta things as you
can. Use the machine that gives you blue Pianta things when you
pay money. Then, go to the kitty Boo in the Parlor. Trade her
for as many Power Rush badges as you can get. Keep getting more
money to get more blue Pianta things in order to get more Power
Rush badges. You may want at least twenty. Take off all of the
badges you already have on and put on all of your Power Rush badges.
If you still have extra BP remaining, you may want to try putting
on some useful badges like Defend Plus, Zap Tap, or Charge. Now
when you attack an enemy, although you only have 5 HP your attack
will be about 40 HP of damage for each move. This can double if
you jump and do the action command at the correct time. This can
allow you to defeat Bonetail or the Shadow Queen in a couple of
turns.

Hint: Easy Turtley Leaves:
To get more Turtley Leaves for all of Zess T's recipes,
solve Kroop's trouble. He will give you a Turtley leaf. If you
need more, go in front of his house and behind the front fence.
There will be three bushes. Rattle each one. One of them should
give out one Turtley Leaf. The bush that gives out the leaves
always changes. When you get one, you must go off screen then
return before trying again.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Legendary book:
To get the legendary book for Zess T.'s trouble, you
need the Tube Curse from Twilight Town. To get the Tube Curse,
you must first speak to the item saleswoman. She will be so desperate
that she will allow you to open her storeroom closet. You will
learn that it is locked and that the key is somewhere in the woods.
The key is behind a blockade that stops you from going to the
Creepy Steeple. Once you use Koops ability to retrieve the key,
you must then go to a shed where the black key is used to open
the curse chest can be found. Once you have it, return to the
item shop to open the storeroom door. After that, speak to the
saleswoman and she will permit you to take what I s inside, including
the curse that lies in the chest. Once you obtain the curse, go
to the Creepy Steeple. Notice that around the entrance inside
the Steeple, there is a little slot. With your new curse ability
you can enter the little slot. Once inside, you will see two treasure
chests. Open one of these chests to get the Legendary book. If
the book is not t in the chest you opened, open the other chest.
You can now solve Zess T.'s trouble.
R Hernandez.
Hint: Perform FP consuming attacks without
using FP:
If you use an FP consuming attack outside of battle
(such as a Spin Jump) and get a first strike, you will use that
move automatically in battle without using any FP at all.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Increased attack power:
Save all the coins you can. If you get over 500 coins,
go to the Panta place. Buy Pantas from the machine like thing
until you have about 50 to 100 coins remaining. Do not use them
yet. Continue through the game but never increase your max HP
more than 25. Increase Badge points the most, but do not forget
about your FP. After you finish the star that requires you to
go on the train, go to the Trouble Center and do Frankies Trouble.
You should get a gold membership card for the Panta place. You
can now play the tube game and trade Pantas for prizes. One of
them will be a Power Rush. It increases Mario's attack by 2 when
he is in danger (5 HP and lower). Get at least 25 of them and
put them on. Go to the sewers and you should see a breakable wall.
Blast it open and go to that person's house. Him increase your
FP and BP by decreasing your HP to 5. Put all the Power Rushes
on, one Multi-Bounce, one Quake Hammer Power Bounce, two Last
Stands, two Close Calls, and two Pretty Luckys Felling Fine. If
you are bad at action commands use Simplifier. This makes the
moon the final Boss and Pit Of 100 Trials easier. Note: If you
do this, do Pit Of 100 Trials before you fight the Shadow Queen
for more experience.

Hint: Never pay money for the fortune teller:
Use the following trick if you are stuck and do not
know where to go and do not want to spend your money. Save the
game as close as you can to the fortune teller. Then, go to her
and seek the way you have to go. After learning the information,
reset the game, which makes you go back to the starting point.
Rylan Kinnin.
Hint: More damage with Return Postage:
In order to do more damage with the Return Postage
badge, you need the Double Pain badge. Because you now take twice
as much damage, the damage done to your opponent is doubled. Note:
You will get the Return Postage badge after completing the 100th
floor of the Pit Of 100 Trials. Do not use this on Boss fights,
as most of them do not attack directly. Use it on places like
the Glitz Pit, and only on Boss fights when you have HP to spare.
Roberto Guerrero-Soto.
Hint: Poison Shroom maximum heal:
Make a Poison Shroom from Zess T. (a Slow Shroom and
an Inky Sauce). The effect will poison you. However, if you have
the Feeling Fine badge on, it may do one of two things. It will
either heal you to maximum, or cut your HP in half. Be careful
when doing this.
Michael
Valenzuela.
Hint: Getting your body back:
After you get your body stolen by the ghost (Doopliss)
you will head back to town. Just before you get in town, Mario
(the Ghost) will try to fight you. He will ask you to guess his
name (Doopliss), but there is no lower case "p". Run
away and go to the first part of town. Once there, you will get
your new partner (one of the Shadow Sirens). Go to the trees and
get Speech Bubble. Then, use your partner's ability. Then, go
back to the Steepy Creepy, but on the way he will try to fight
you again. Run away. Go to the well out side of Steepy Creepy.
You will reach a thing that looks like a gate. Push it up the
hill and use your new partner's ability to go under it. It will
slide down the hill. Then, find the bird in there that knows the
ghost's name and use your partner. Then, get the letter "p"
and a key. Next, go back to town and Doopliss will try to fight
you again in the same spot. He will ask you to guess his name.
Enter "Doopliss" and he will run away. Then, go back
to Creepy Steepy and find him at the same spot you fought him
first. Do not bother to attack the partner because a better one
will come out. Defeat him and you get your body back and the star.
Ryan Murphy.
Hint: Ghost's name:
In Chapter 4, the ghost that you fought and that takes
over Mario asks you to guess his name. His name is Doopliss.
Gino/Midnight.
Hint: Yoshi calls Mario by his real name:
In the part where you have to get the ring for Fransecas

In the Glitz Pit when you are fighting Rawk Hawk,

After your ordeal on the train, you will receive an e-mail from
the real Zip Toad. If you look closely at the image he sends you,
you will notice that Jr. Troopa from the original Paper Mario
is in it, flying outside the window.

from the first Paper Mario, such as "What did Bowser
steal in the first Paper Mario?"

Once you have eight Stars, go into the door near the mini-game
room. Go all the way through the maze and fight the Boss. It will
be the Goomba King, from the original Paper Mario.

If you are in Flanky's lab, look in the top right shelf. You will
see four stones. The stones are made to look like the puzzle answer
in The Great Tree.
Fya Morningstar.
One of the jump badges you get is called Tornado Jump. Mario's
ability when you get the Ultra Boots in Paper Mario was
called Tornado Jump.
Roberto Guerrero-Soto.
Go to the Poshley Heights Hotel area. Talk to the penguin nearest
to the noodles shop. He will say something about a Shiver City

tells you about your partner, you will go back to Rougeport.
Rene Campos.
Hint: Instant game over:
In the Thousand Years Door, there is a part where you
meet a lot of Dry Bones (just like in Chapter 1). If you do not
move and stay at the center of the crowd, you will get sucked
inti the floor, resulting a instant game over.
Marc-André Dion.
Hint: Ms. Mowz in the ending:
After you defeat the Shadow Queen, you will get a e-mail
from Goombella talking about how people are doing after your adventure.
If you did not get Ms. Mowz, it will end on Admiral Bobbery. However
if you did, there will be a small thing that talks about what
Ms. Mowz has been doing with her life. Note: In order to get Ms.
Mowz for your adventure, complete the ??? Trouble anytime after
Chapter 4 and before completing the game.

Go to Fahr Outpost. Get in the snow and hop on Yoshi.

Glitch: Map completed by Professor Frankly:
Every time Mario gets new star information on his map,
he will go to Professor Frankly. The first few times, he will
ask to see your map. During your first time, when you get information
for Petal Meadows, Frankly will ask for your map, but then talk
more and more. He will keep talking for a bit until he gives your
map back. In this time, he puts down your map face up. This allows
you to see the map. You can see the moon very clearly, and notice
the revealing spot for the X-Naut Fortress. The map is already
completed and Mario just started.

he will say "Off we go, mi amigos". The correct grammar
is supposed to be "mis amigos".
