Extra time in arcade mode:
Every time you continue in arcade mode, you will start off with one extra second than before. You can keep on losing and continuing, earning more seconds every time.

Hint: Specific repair:
If a section of your car is damaged, for example, the front, and you have a choice between repair or crasher, choose the crasher. It repairs that part of the car and gives you the power-up.

Hint: Destroying monster trucks:
If both you and your opponent have 4x4 wheels and a collision happens, the one with the least power-ups is demolished. However, if you both have the same amount of power-ups, the driver with the most damage loses. But if the damage meters are the same, the cab with the most speed wins. If all of this is the same, one is chosen randomly.

Hint: 360 ramp jump:
On a snowy sidewalk, powerturn immediately before a ramp, then go up it while slipping. You will slow down a bit, but the ramps speed you up once touched. If you are skilled, you can make it appear as if you are spinning in the air. This is best done in head-to-head mode, as your opponent can get the checkpoints.

Hint: Terrified King Kong:
When you are doing the King Kong chase, look in between his legs. You can see his eyes and determine what he is thinking.

Glitch: Monster truck tires:
Go somewhere snowy, such as the roof of a building. Look at your 4x4 wheels, and you can see that the marks left in the snow are not coming from them. They are coming from your smaller tires, but they cannot be seen.

If you have the tires, powerturn on the snow, but keep holding the Analog-stick. When your car is facing forward, pause game play. Sometimes it looks like your car has no front axle.

Glitch: Invisible wall:
In the Third Street to Fifth Avenue race, sometimes when doing head-to-head and going through the shortcut in the beginning, you will go straight through the people and they will not notice you. This is the sign that the glitch will happen. When you try to jump through the helicopter, you will get pushed aside and hear a scraping noise, as there is an invisible barrier. It only happens very rarely.

Glitch: Invincibility:
You must be in head-to-head mode to do this trick. Get to the King Kong shortcut and make sure that you and your opponent hit the shortcut at about the same time (i.e., one after the another). When you are taking the shortcut, you can run over your opponent and "merge" without taking damage. If both taxis are still touching by the time they get to the top, one will get destroyed. If both hold brake the entire way up, the destroyed one can stop in the building.
