Hint: Easy win:
To easily win without trying, pass the ball to the goalie by running into him, then pass the ball to another teammate close by. Then, give back the ball to the goalie once again. He should pick up the ball constantly whenever you keep this up. Do a regular pass or a lob pass when you are about to get hit by something, or simply run out of the way if you are going to be tackled. Wait until the time runs out and you should have won the match without engaging in any difficult field battles. Note: You must score at least one goal first for this trick to work. Also, if your CPU opponent has a power-up item, you can waste it by staying near to the goalie's end of the field while just simply waiting until the CPU attacks you with it. For maximum effectiveness, play only a two minute game, or you can use cheats such as turning off power-up items, Bowser attacks, and not allowing Super-Strike goals. The CPU's difficulty level also plays another major role.

Hint: Getting perfect passes easily:
Use the Turbo Run (hold R while running) then hold L and press A. You should do a perfect pass about 80% of the time.

There are two instances where Yoshi speaks English. First, during the opening scene, Yoshi steals DK's ball and says, "Thank you!". Second, if Yoshi is the player on the left in a match (the one that first gets the ball), his entrance will feature him laughing and saying, "Hey Hey!".

Glitch: Total shots on goal:
Whenever a player is about to shoot the ball (or touch it), and someone freezes you with a "Blue Shell" at the same time, you will hear a strange should which will indicate that the player is shooting the ball multiple times and not scoring. Once that player is thawed out, the ball will finally shoot towards the goalie's net. If you managed to score while being frozen, the replay will show the goalie trying to "save the ball" indefinitely and the defending player of the other team will be trying to "tackle you" forever without luck. Try to win or lose on purpose, and when you see the final score results, you should see that "Total Shots" will be a triple-digit number instead of the expected number. You have now unlocked, earned, and broken an amazing record of the most total shots on goal in your player profile statistics as well as perhaps a gold trophy for this achievement. Note: Customize your power-up item cheats to always get the Blue Shell to make this easier.
