1. Downtime notice - Oct. 17, 2017

Well, it's a permanent downtime. After 22 years of service it's time for a final goodbye. Our live production servers will be taken offline on October 17th. The simple fact is that there are plenty of better ways to get the secrets hidden in games and connect with other gamers. There are plenty of Youtube channels and Twitch streams that will show games played at their best, something that plain text and screenshots can't convey. If you want to connect to other gamers outside of those services, there are plenty of Discord servers that offer a direct and engaging community experience.

Please visit our friends at GameFAQs.com or IGN.com for information such as codes, guides, reviews, etc. They're the real deal and have always been respectful and honest about how they operate. Our ghost pages can be found on Archive.org for those times that you'd like to take a look back at how things were.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed content and time managing our community, and especially to you, our dear visitors!

Our last words: "Up ,Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Select, Start"

I don't know if I was more impressed by the collection, or surprised that there are supposedly only around 200 N64 games.

I can't believe someone actually bought it. That's a very impressive collection though.

With smart investment decisions 1,000 premium members would do.

Of those, tubby bought half of the premium memberships.

Klowny is really one of the only 3 posters on this website, fortunately he has multiple personality disorder.

Maybe I would buy it if I were rich? I honestly don't think even then I could. That seems like a huge waste of money.

A waste of money! At your age if you were rich and could afford it you could have a whole lifetime of fun with this.

If I had a million euros of cash to drop on something, I'd definitely do it on this. Assuming, that is, that having a million of spare cash meant I already had a house big enough to house this!

If I had over a million dollars extra to spare I'd invest in a jetpack. That or a magical grappling hook like on Just Cause

The level of dedication and the time involved to even build such a collection just boggles the mind. Simply incredible.

Agreed. I don't quite understand how this is possible unless this person once worked at or owned a videogame store.

That million bucks wouldn't help me sleep at night knowing I just sold the best video game collection ever.

For me, a collection is something that you hold on to and show off to friends. Not something you sell because you were behind on the rent.

I second this. It would kill me to sell any part of my collection, because each and every game in it holds a special place in my heart or I have great memories of playing it when I was a kid. To this day I have never traded in or sold a game.

I did years ago, but usually regretted the decision because I got pittance in return and I ended wanting to try out the game again. I don't trade or sell games any more... even the really horribly bad ones.
