I finished the first dungeon and got past the deadline, still had a ton of time to do other activities since I only have access to really 4 confidants. Curious to see where the story goes from here, all I've known about the game even in development was about the volleyball instructor and the school palace. I kept myself mostly in the dark on the game.

I had such an easy time with the shadow Kamoshida. Most of the shadows in the tower were more threatening than him.

I haven't played much since getting near the end of the third Palace in my second playthrough.

It helps that you get to go after the bosses with full hp and sp.

It's a pretty large palace. I found him easy because I leveled up considerably in the palace before hand. As much as I wanted to stealth run things, I chose to fight every enemy (also leading to SP issues galore).

What I mean is that he had no real devastating attacks like the horse-mounted enemies in the castle. Cleave and the double shot the golden knights did could one shot my characters. I left hero guarding in much of those battles just so I wouldn't get a game over. Kamoshida had one attack that could do heavy damage but he announced it a round before he did it so timing the guard was easy.

All I needed was for one healer and hero kept using skull crusher until Kamoshida was gone.

Passed a few more days, did my first entry into Mementos. I like the whole fan site idea, too. Have a feeling that time management is going to get a lot more difficult soon.

The second boss is the only one that really caused me trouble. For the others, playing conservatively is usually enough.

That one wasn't too bad as I had some target all attacks, just long

Most of them come down to buffing your party and debuffing the boss and hitting them as hard as you can

Yeah, I definitely leveled up a bit before jumping into the second palace. Then when it was that boss' time, I just used Fox and Skull's target all physical attacks (Rampage was awesome at the time). In a couple attacks 4 pieces went down because the fifth was healed by the physical attacks. Then I just focus fired the last piece with strong single target magic.

Currently rampaging through the 2nd palace. This one has been way easier than the first since I've found pretty much every enemy's weakness early and have been conserving SP by baton passing.

Try getting lucky and having all four party members baton pass. I LOVED that system... haha

There's also a trophy for that... (spoiler? I dunno is that constitutes a spoiler)

Second boss was only hard because I'm an idiot and forgot to buy some revival medicines or really any healing items before the fight. Skull was killed almost immediately so I had to go with 3 party members the rest of the way. Luckily through some fusions and a special persona, I was able to make one that had 3 multi-target magics and a multi target physical attack. Hero basically did all of the work with Panther constantly healing and debuffing and Fox mostly guarding because the boss kept targeting him once Skull died.

Well, after many farming attempts in Borderlands 2, i've gotten back into my Persona 5 game. Cleared the third Palace and finally got access to the Fishing Pond... now i can finally attempt the Guardian challenge.

I just finished the third palace in one day then took down the boss pretty easily... even though I forgot to replenish most of my healing items before sending the calling card AGAIN. Just had hero constantly healing with Panther and Queen hitting him with medium strength fire and nuclear. Fox was good for various support or heavy attacks on multiple enemies when needed.

Since I did it so early, I've had plenty of time to add 4 new confidants, and strengthen the early ones.

I hate how many social points I need for certain things. It took forever to reach the 3rd level of charm, knowledge and guts.

Yep, big reason I do a social link guide.

Every sunday there is a drink in the underground station for 5k that gives you one point in a stat

The plant giving it food can give you 2 and eventually 3 kidness

I think the big burger challenge can give you points in 2 or 3 categories

Tea or coffee in the diner when it's raining I think raises a couple things too

I always either forget about the drink on Sundays or I'm going into Mementos/Palace and it just doesn't cross my mind. I take full advantage of the plant and big burger challenge, though. Right now I'm trying to max out the Temperance one for the benefit of being able to use night time after a palace run and Fortune because I've heard it is very significant in helping social links with a certain ability. I've nearly maxed out Death, Chariot and Lovers. I've been about as efficient as possible so far outside of forgetting to check the TV. I'm sure I've missed some TV trivia.

So far I'd say the most useful one has been Star just because I can swap out party members mid battle.

Forgetting the drink is not too bad, it just delays the cycle. I forgot a couple and still got to the end (there's a finite number in the rotation).

I got all of the confidants maxed out except for Strength, because fuck that.

So I bought 3 SP regenerating accessories from the clinic and now running through palaces is easy. I just secured a route to the treasure in the pyramid palace with most of my characters still over 90% SP by strategically using certain characters to cause knock downs or putting enemies with no weakness to sleep or confuse all while using regular attacks and regenerating 7 SP per turn. Most battles in the current palace are just Makoto going first and regenerating SP so I can use her to heal if needed and then hero cycles through Personas until a weakness is found, then I just end the battle. Hero is the only one with SP around 75%, everyone else is in the 90% range.

Makes one day runs in palace and 5-6 mementos targets easy.

SP invigorate is a game changer! Made the game a lot easier, but still not too easy, I couldn't get surrounded or else I'd still lose a lot of health. As long as I didn't get sloppy, I didn't have to worry too much.

So it made getting through the Futaba's palace a cake walk but the boss was quite difficult. The despair affliction nearly killed me in the middle of the battle twice. I used up 6 revival beads because Ann and Makoto were dropping like flies and Makoto was the only one that could cure despair. I was barely surviving attacks. It was crazy to still have 23 days until the deadline. I've upped so many social links in the 6 days since the palace and plan to max out a couple.

Did a good several hour stint the other day.
[During summer break, before palace 4 opens] Using the Fortune Teller to get a boost to kindness, went work at the Flower Shop- and got to max rank Kindness. :D Was pondering how to boost my Guts, when Makoto asked me to accompany her to a movie- movie boosted Guts, Guts maxed out. :)
Palace 4 opens, and I clear it in one day. [it's not a long dungeon like previous palace]. Boost a few S.Links before sending calling card and completing dungeon.
Now, Ann & Ryuji have maxed S.Link, as well as the Death S.Link. Working on the Star and Moon S.Links as a priority over the others- Star is my goal for "romantic interest"
Spent a lot of money buying new persona, so had to work- which was good because i had the three requests open that required i work to get the necessary information, then completed those bounties before the deadline in August.

Going to focus on Yusuke/Makoto's S.Links so i have time for Futaba's and the Empress when she becomes available.
