Hint: More homing missiles:
Quickly press C-Right, C-Left(2) during
game play to get more homing missiles.
Hint: Floating:
If you enable the 2064 code, you can float.
Hold Down to go up, and Up to go down. The controls
similar to some other futuristic racers. You can use this to avoid
unguided weapons fire and other things such as Laser Mines or
Wally Warps, or track sections your bike would normally fall victim
to.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Hint: After finish view:
Before the race is over, hold C-Up and you can
see the track without circling the bike.
Information in this section was contributed by Knight.
Hint: Eschaton: Shortcut:
In Eschaton, you can turn right on the rock at the
beginning and float down back on track, if you are very skilled.
This shaves at least fifteen seconds if done correctly. You can
also float off the unguarded rocky regions of the track to shave
a few seconds.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Hint: Lumina Falls: Hole:
Enable the "WipeOut" mode code. Near the
harbor on Lumina Falls, fly above the water, tilt down. and enter
the small hole. Note: This is difficult to do.
Information in this section was contributed by Reptily.
Hint: Meza Virs: Shortcut:
Instead of clearing the gap and going into the first
loop, hit the brakes in advance and do not clear the gap. You
should skip the loop entirely and gain a huge advantage on the
track.
Information in this section was contributed by Tyler Estes.
Hint: Hidden areas:
If you hit one of the gray fences with the green and
red lights blinking on them hard enough and correctly, you should
go through it. You will end up at a different section of the track
that you normally cannot reach unless you choose a different path
before you race. The only way to get out is to keep driving. The
track will cut off and you will drive off a cliff, bringing you
back to the normal track.
Information in this section was contributed by Tyler Estes.
Hint: Good bikes:
The Surge is the fastest regular bike.
Information in this section was contributed by Reptily.
Hint: Destroying Morship in arcade mode:
Use two homing missiles to destroy the Morship.
Information in this section was contributed by Evan Smith.
Hint: Running rider:
Enable the XCHARGE and MISTAKE codes,
then use a password for any of the superbikes. The rider, but
not the bike, should appear at the bike selection screen. During
the race, the rider will be running instead of driving a bike.
Information in this section was contributed by PEJOOS.
Glitch: Stuck AI:
If you enable the 2064 code then race in Farron,
Corkscrew, the AI gets stuck before the first lap ends. When you
complete the race, all remaining racers will finish with 05:00:00+
"Best Lap" times and 15:00:00+ race times. Note: Fire
Hazard is the only Farron variant the 2064 racers are competitive
on.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Cordelion 2064: Fly in blackness:
Before the first tunnel, if you hit the wall at the
curve which would normally reset you for "falling off",
you will float up and over the wall, then fly through pure black
for a second before the track environment fades back in.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Cordelion 2064: Race under the
track:
When you begin the race, take a hard turn out of the
starting gate, after the jump. You will fly through the walls
and can race a fair portion of the track under the intended track.
This works best on Sulphur Lakes; anything else resets you because
you cannot go anywhere else but straight in The Mire and Crystal
Forest.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Crystal Forest: Easy win:
In Crystal Forest, you can guarantee a win with heavy
use of Static Burst. This can also apply elsewhere where Static
Burst is accessible. You can practically fly over the sections
of track most notable for their lack of guardrails.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Sometimes, if you miss the shortcut inside the tunnel, you will
float, even though most times the game keeps you well grounded.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Sometimes, when you float after the first leap over the water,
you can take damage in the air and heard the sound of hitting
the wall in the air. Probably an invisible ceiling. Oddly enough,
this can be avoided by staying high in the air less.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Eschaton:
In Eschaton, after doing the rock shortcut at the beginning,
if you fly the ship just right you can go under the track.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Lumania: Go under splitway:
In Lumania you can go under the splitway through a
small opening. Most times you will fail, but sometimes you can
succeed.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: The Mire: Pass through tunnel piece:
In The Mire, you can go through the piece of tunnel
that usually is connected with the rest of the track in the other
variations.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Bachman.
Glitch: Sulphur Lakes: Go off track:
If you either took the upper road in Sulphur Lakes
or are in the other variants, go high up before the tunnel and
fly into the pool of water. There is no reset, and if you explore
around for a second, you can keep off the track for a short time
before triggering the reset.
