Better weapons, extra points, class advancement:
Win a medal on each level in a class (C, B, or A) to
earn extra points, better weapons, and advancement to the next
class (B, A, or AA).
Top End S engine:
Finish any track in Class A in first, second or third
place with one of the lap times ending in "99".
Top End SS engine:
Finish the Harbor track in Class A in first, second
or third place with one of the lap times less than 42 seconds.
Acceleration S engine:
Finish the Caves track in Class A in first place.
Acceleration SS engine:
Finish any track in Class AA in first, second or third
place with the Lights 2 extra and the Missile 2 weapon equipped.
Bumper S part:
Finish the Ruins track in Class A in first, second
or third place without driving on the grass.
Spoiler 4 part:
Finish the Alpine track in Class A in first, second
or third place without using a Dash Zone.
Suspension 10 part:
Finish the Volcano track in Class A in first place
without using any weapons.
Top End SS part:
Finish in first place in one of the top three places
on the harbor track, with at least one lap time of less than
42 seconds in Class A. This is very difficult to do. You will
need TopEnd S or Accel SS and Turbo. On the first lap, almost
complete the lap with one turbo use remaining. The level is shaped
like a man on his knees with his feet out behind him. Stop at
the bottom of the "feet" and wait until the top three
racers are at the bend of the "chin". You should now
be in sixth place. Race towards the start and stay as far as you
can to the left without getting off the road. Just before you
hit the lap mark use the turbo. This will give you extra boost
as you start the new lap, and because you are in last place you
will automatically get three more turbo boosts after passing the
lap mark. Use them and the other four dash zones to beat the time.
On many of them you will have to barrel roll the around corner,
using R when you turn.

H. Laser:
Race any track in Class A after getting all the other
parts.

Race all tracks in Class A and finish in first place
in all of them using Car 11.

Air Duct extra:
Finish any track in Class A in first, second or third
place thirty times in the same game session.
Light extra:
Finish the Lakeside track in Class A in first place.
Nozzle extra:
Finish any track in Class A in first, second or third
place without using a non-hidden power-up..
Hint: Faster parts selection:
Repeatedly tap A when the CPU is selecting a
part to take from you. This may also increase the chance of nothing
being taken.
Hint: Always trade parts:
Enter parts options screen and enable "Steal Parts"
and "Trade/Swap Parts". The CPU will always trade instead
of stealing your parts.
Hint: Quick start:
Accelerate just before the last light turns green.
