Hints
Control title screen
On the title screen, before you press Start, tap the different worlds on the main map with your stylus. They should show their animation as if you were entering them in the game. The sky also changes depending on the time of day on the system clock.
Level 4-4: Toad
To get the toad, go through the tunnel at the end of
the level. It will take you to the place to get the toad.
Level 8-6
Collect all the Toads in each area.
Defeating Boos
Ghosts fear the light. Use Rage and touch the Boo with your flames. This should scare him off. Note: This does not work on Big Boos or the blind-folded Boos.
When playing the bonus level before the Boss in Shriek Mansion or Bowser's Villa, do not poke the Boos. It works better to "rub", or scribble, on them instead.
Defeating Bowser
During phase one Bowser should sic the angry leader of the HammerBros. on you. Just hit him with Perry or throw other HammerBros. at him. During phase two, Bowser attacks you himself. Dodge his flames and hammers. To hit him, use Rage and touch him with your flames for several seconds. Each time you hit him, he changes his Vibes to change his attack pattern. To get more Vibe Energy, get him to ram himself at the Bowser statues on either side of the battlefield. The smashed statue should drop a large Blue Crystal. Note: To jump over Bowser easier, you can bounce off his head. You can also stand on the Bowser statues. During phase three, Bowser should grow giant. Dodge his attacks, and eventually he will slam both his claws down, dropping Bomb-ombs from the sky. Note: Avoid his claws when he moves them. You can get hit by them. To hit Bowser, pick up a Bomb-omb and hold it until it starts blinking. Stand underneath his head, then throw the Bomb-omb upward with perfect timing so that it explodes on his nose. Try throwing it immediately when it beeps for the seventh time. Every time you hit him, his attack pattern changes. When he gets down to one hit remaining, the Vibe Scepter should float up and a pastel-purple bubble will appear around Bowser's head. This is Bowser using Calm to recover his HP. To stop him, attack the bubble several times with Perry by jumping and using Y or B.
Defeating DryBones
No matter how many times you jump off a DryBones' head, it will keep re-building itself. To get rid of it, throw something at it or stand next to it and use Joy or Rage.
Easy coins
Buy the Courage Soda at the shop for 1,000 coins. Play
a level and attack a monster. You will obtain 5 coins. Walk out
of view of where the monster was found. Return and the monster
should be there again. Kill the monster to get another 5 coins.
Repeat this as many times as desired.
Replay your favorite boss. After you have saved the Toad, they will give you 50 coins every time you defeat them.
Play Toad Jump, Toad Tote, or Toad Shot repeatedly. They will give you 10 coins multiplied by the difficulty level you cleared.
Buy the Cola made by merchants in the shop's item list directly beneath Vibe Tea. This should give you 5 coins every time you hit an enemy with Y or B. Note: This does not work with the Chargrella or Poundrella abilties. Also, the more opponents you hit in a row, the more coins you get for each of them. You can also knock Koopas out of thier shells then hit the Koopa and the shell as individual targets. This is also particularly effective when standing next to a pipe that sends out endless Goombas.
Go to the Boss of Shriek Mansion, Fury Volcano, or Bowser's Villa. Tell it "No" that you do not want to skip the mini-game before the Boss. When Boos or in Fury Volcano's case, rocks, start coming at Peach, scare or destroy them with your stylus to get coins. Before you get to the end of the bonus level, let Peach get hit. This should take her to the beginning of the bonus level, keeping whatever coins you collected. Continue doing this until you get tired of it, then actually finish the bonus level. If you do not want to fight the Boss again, pause game play choose "Exit stage" from the menu. Perry should ask if he should record all the coins and items you have collected so far. Tell him "Yes".
Buy the Courage Cola at the shop for 1,000 coins. This lets you
get coins by attacking enemies with the umbrella. Then, go to
stage 5-2, in Wavy Beach. In the very first area, use Joy to fly
on top of the first ledge at the start. A large parade of Koopa
Troopas is just past the pipe, then another past the next pipe.
Hop on each Koopa's head to pop him out of his shell, then just
attack everything with the umbrella. Jump to the other parade
of Koopas and repeat. When you are done, the first group will
have respawned. You can do this as many times as desired, and
each group will yield over 100 coins.
Start at the beginning of Shriek Mansion 3-4. Go forward through
the darkness. Keep going and pass the first set of green platforms.
Do not climb them. Continue until you get to the first purple
pipe. Do not go down the pipe. Instead, jump up the platforms
to the right of it and go left until you see a door. Go inside.
You should now be in a foggy room and see three doors. Go in the
second one, then the third one, then the third one again (go in
the door you just came out of). Again, pick the third one, then
finally choose the first one. You should now be at the top of
the door maze, where a happy little bat has come to get you. Destroy
the bat and go left, then down the pipe. You should now be in
a foggy room with a line of turtles walking towards you on the
bottom. Pick up one of the turtles and throw it at the others.
It will destroy them in a line, giving you single coins. Follow
the turtle shell until it hits the wall (jump over it; do not
stop it) and follow it again. It will go back and destroy the
newly-spawned turtles. You will only get a few coins for this
as well. However, keep following the shell and it will continue
to destroy turtles, and give you a five coin piece per turtle
instead of just one. Do not break the cycle or stop the shell.
Easy health
Purchase the "Natural Power" item from the
Shop. If you need to refill the yellow bar below your heart, find
a safe place to stand still with no enemies nearby that can harm
you. Allow Peach to stand idle and do not use the touch screen
or controls. The umbrella will cover Peach's head and the bar
will refill.
and
Opening capsules easily
When you see the flying balls that drop coins when you throw something at them, you do not have to find something to throw. It is much easier to stand underneath it and use Rage.
Quick bubble popping
Use the mad emotion to pop the bubble with the fire.
Red Goomba
When you see a Mad Paragoomba, use Gloom or jump on
it and knock it out of the sky. It will now be a regular Goomba,
but red.
Glitches
Float in lava
Jump above a pit of lava and get hit by an opponent while in the air. As long as Peach is still blinking, Perry should become a boat as if you landed in regular water.
