Ignore snowstorms and typhoons:
Select "Sv" at the "Game" menu and highlight "No". Then, hold Up/Right + A on controller two and press A on controller one.

100 gold mines:
In the Japanese version, select the second option on the second row at the "Game" emnu. Then, select the first option, choose "0000" and highlight "Yes". Hold Down/Left + B on controller two and press A on controller one. The gold mines counter will increase to 100 to confirm correct code entry.

Everything at maximum:
Select "Mi" at the game menu, then select "Enlist" at the next menu. Select "1" and highlight "No". Then, hold Down + A on controller two and press A on controller one. A faint sound will confirm correct code entry. While still holding the buttons on controller two, hold Up + B + Start on controller one. Release the buttons on controller two. The word "Which" will appear. Release the buttons on controller one and "01" will appear. The numbers correspond to the numbers of the countries in the game. Select "01" to start with the default country with everything at maximum.

Sound test:
In the Japanese version of the game, hold Select + Start and power on or reset the NES. Release the buttons, then hold A + B + Right on controller two. The sound test menu will appear after the "HOT"-B logo disappears.

Ten additional lancers:
Press Select(10) when at the merchant. The screen will flash to confirm correct code entry.
