Wizardry: Proving Grounds Of The Mad Overlord

Extra money:
Begin a new game, and buy as many daggers as possible from Boltac's Trading Post. Save the game, reset the NES, then enter POGGSY as a password. Return to Boltacs Trading Post and sell all the daggers that were previously purchased.

Hint: Have both evil and good characters in the same party:
Place all your evil characters in one party, then go into the maze and have them camp at the stairs. Save the game at that location. Start a new game, and place the characters with a good alignment in the party. Go down into the maze and search at the stairs. You will find all your evil characters there, and they will join your current party. Note: Your party can not exceed six characters at one time.

Hint: Easy money:
Repeatedly create expendable characters. When a character is created, they start out with 130 gold. You can create a large number of characters, have them all give their gold to one character, then delete them. You can gain as much gold as needed with no risk.

Hint: Murphy's ghost:
As you enter the maze, go forward, turn right, and go through the door directly in front of you. On the other side, take one step forward, turn right, run to the end of the hall. What appears to be a dead end is actually a secret door. Note: This door is one way. Go through this door into a hallway. When you reach the end of the hallway, turn 180 degrees, then go through the door on your right. In the closet on the other side, there is some flavor text and a question. If you answer "Yes", you will fight "Unseen Entity" also known as "Murphy's Ghost". This enemy is more likely to be friendly than any other enemy, and also gives more gold and experience than any other enemies above floor 9, making him the perfect enemy to kill for level grinding and gold farming. Your party should have three level 7 fighters on the front line for an almost guaranteed victory.
