Alternate emblem backgrounds:
Create an emblem in the "Edit Emblem" screen. Then, hold L1 + R1 + Select.

Continue from Armored Core: Project Phantasma:
Insert a memory card with a saved game from Armored Core: Project Phantasma and the file should appear yellow at the loading screen. Load that file to start with the same parts and money that you were obtained in that game.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Have Continue with Plus/Reble:
Note: The first Armored Core game is required for this trick. On Armored Core, intentionally die with less than -50,000 credits. The game will restart from the first level with all items gained in the previous game. Your pilot name will change to "Rebel" followed by three random numbers to confirm correct code entry. The first time this is done, the radar will become a grid system and will detect incoming missiles. The fourth time this is done, the rear weapon may be fired while in motion. The sixth time that this is done, available energy will be doubled. Additionally, a ball may be fired from the laserblade by firing the blade, then pressing Jump. Then, continue from Armored Core to Armored Core: Master Of Arena by doing the following. Insert a memory card with the Plus or Rebel saved game from Armored Core and the file should appear yellow at the loading screen. Load that file to start with the same parts and money that you have obtained in that game.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

You have to load a save from the first game to start with the Plus enhancements you had in Armored Core. It is not known if you can get the Plus enhancements by loading a save in Armored Core: Master of Arena that does not have any of the Plus enhancements.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Extra Ex Arenas:
In the Ex Arena selection screen, you will see four sets of question marks if you go down. These will be unlocked after you complete a certain requirement.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

FROMSOFTWARE is unlocked after you complete all leg-specific arenas. It features a series of ACs made by From Software employees.
Guest and Champion are unlocked after you complete all of the missions (do not forget to save when prompted). Guest is an arena that contains Japanese magazine publisher's AC creations. Champion is a series of ACs made by finalists from a Armored Core: Project Phantasma Tourney held in Japan last year.
Master is an arena that has extremely dangerous ACs. It is unlocked when you get 100% in the overall under System.
Please note that these ACs are not easy to defeat. They will always have an advantage over your AC regardless of how well armed, armored, or fast you are.

Hint: Sword Wave:
Note: Plus or Reble is required for this trick. Have a lightsword equipped, then press X, Circle while the sword is still out. If done correctly, this will fire a very powerful crescent beam that can do over 2800 AP worth of damage with the Moonlight.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Triple crescent beam:
Note: This trick requires the final level of Reble. Equip the LS-3303 (a yellow laserblade), enter a battle and press Circle, X while the blade is out to fire three laser blades. This will do more than 3000 AP of damage if all three hit. To auto fire, fly forward (without leaving the ground, requires humanoid legs) and press Circle. It should fire without pressing X.
Information in this section was contributed by QuickSilver324.

Hint: Cavern Invasion level:
There is a hole in the ceiling at the top of the first room. Fly up to it and take a left. There will be a very large room with guns mounted in the ceilings. Do not shoot at the guns. Instead, go directly for the left corner in the back, where an item will appear on the ground. This is the shoulder mounted disc shooter.
Information in this section was contributed by Ryan and Chris.

Hint: Destroy Berserk MTs level:
Get past the first locked gate and find the door on the left side that follows it. Follow the corridor until you find a room full of gray crates. Do not shoot the crates or you will blow up the item. Maneuver around the crates until you find a corner with a head part on the ground.
Information in this section was contributed by Ryan and Chris.

Hint: Destroy The Giant Tank level:
At the start of the mission, go directly above the tank. After reaching the top of the tank you will see a missile launcher. Destroy it immediately, then the rest is easy.
Information in this section was contributed by jr palmiery.

Equip your AC with the most powerful rocket and the laser cannon (the one that is in two parts). Immediately after the mission begins, do not move. Change to your rockets and aim at the cannons on the tanks. After the cannons on the front are gone, go to the left side of the tank using L1 and Left . Once there, use your rockets and take out the cannons on the side. Switch to the laser cannon and aim at the top of the tank. Start firing until you see an explosion on top of the tank. Finally, go to the other side of the tank and destroy the remaining cannons. Doing so would allow you to finish the mission with little or no damage at all.
Information in this section was contributed by WarDemon316.

Hint: Find a FCS part:
In the level that you help your MTs there are three yellow ones and six gray enemy ones. There is a building in one of the corners with columns in the front of it. Blow it up. Enter the hole under where it was located. There will be three dead ends in there, one of which can be destroyed. Search inside to find a part of an FCS.
Information in this section was contributed by Ryan and Chris.

Hint: Find Prize Parts in the Arena/Sub-Arena:
If you have played Armored Core: Project Phantasma, you will know that you will get a free part when you defeat a certain ranking Raven. However, unlike Project Phantasma, Master Of Arena will throw more ranking Ravens at you even after you defeat all of the Ravens listed. Keep checking back in the Arena/Sub-Arena to make sure that you have fought everyone to be sure that you do not miss any prize parts.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Prizes in the Leg Specific Ex Arena:
If you go into the Ex Arena, you will see that there are four arenas that are leg specific. This means that you can not take a caterpillar (tank) style AC into the humanoid arena. The good news about these leg specific arenas is that as you conquer each one, you will get a leg part that is from the arena type you just completed (humanoid-humanoid, four leg-four leg, reverse joint-reverse joint, caterpillar-caterpillar).
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Easy Tread-type Arena:
Tread-type ACs are known to be powerful and well armored. However, they are also extremely slow. Use this to your advantage by playing "sniper-tag" with them. Use the destroyed bridge area for this strategy. Equip the purple sniper rifle that you acquired from Progtech, along with two M118-TD magazines attached to you. Of course, if you do not want to risk it, get a back-up weapon such as a rapid fire energy weapon or a chain gun (in case your opponent charges you) for your other shoulder, but try to leave at least one M118-TD on. During the battle, your opponent should dive down into the center of the battlefield (the muddy area under the bridge). It is recommended that you not to move from your spot. As soon as your opponent gets into range, fire at him. He cannot counter unless he has a weapon which outranges your rifle. If this is the case, fly to the bridge and make cheap shots at him with the mortar missiles.
Information in this section was contributed by Alexei Kazansky.

Hint: Energy Shooting Machine Gun:
Defeat Bibs in the Sub-Arena. This machine gun is very powerful but its ammo is a short 500 rounds.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Enhanced Balancer Optional part:
Complete the Champion Ex Arena to get the Enhanced Balancer Optional part. The Enhanced Balancer Optional part reduces recoil (the backwards motion) that occurs from firing a heavy weapon (grenade launcher, dual cannon, etc.)
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Flame Shell:
Defeat one of the earlier opponents in the Master Arena. The Flame Shell shoots a rocket that sets the enemy on fire and reduces AP slowly.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Head, Radar-12:
Defeat the third opponent in the Master Arena to get this head. The Radar-12 is the best head in the game but looks different.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Mine Dispenser:
Complete the Fromsoft Ex Arena to get a Mine Dispenser. This part shoots out floating proximity mines.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Special Rocket:
Complete the Guest Ex Arena to get a Special Rocket. This part shoots out a blue object that disables the opponent's FCS.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Hint: Stealth unit:
Complete the Master Ex Arena to get the stealth unit (back weapon). This item will take you off the radar and is probably only meant for two players.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside and Apollo Creed.

Hint: New laserbalde:
To get the new laserblade, which shoots a laserblade projectile on its own, you must get PROGTECH to sponsor you in the Sub-Arena. Not only will you get this new weapon, but you will receive 50,000 credits.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: New laser-powered sniper rifle:
Get PROGTECH to sponsor you in the Arena. You will receive 50,000 credits with the laser sniper rifle, which does 3800 damage (more than twice that of the Karasawa laser rifle).
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Overweight override:
The overweight override is present in the game, but there is no penalty for being overweight. To activate the overweight override, you must get 100% in the overall category for the missions in the system menu. This means that you have to complete all missions and get the three secret parts. Note: You will still get the overweight warning even after you activate the overweight override. Just ignore the warning. You need to load a game from the first Armored Core with the overweight override activated. Then you have to complete the steps listed above.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyborg Darkside.

Hint: Easy way to kill ACs in arena battle:
Equip your mech with the fastest humanoid legs, the new laser rifle arm weapon that shoots three beams at once, and the new back weapon shaped like a "V". Select the parking garage as your arena location. This will inhibit the flying ability of your foe and will allow you to empty all your ammo into them quickly. In the rare case that they defeat you from excessive swording or close combat, select the arena with the land mines (with trees outside). Often, they will start by damaging themselves on these mines to the extent to where you can kill them with only a few shots, or they will fly out of the area, resulting in an instant win.
Information in this section was contributed by Barkmen.

You have to know the height limit very well in the Grass/Tree/Mine level. Equip your AC with a four leg that can fly very high and the grenade round cannon arms. When you start a battle in this level immediately fire the grenade round arms, fly around, then go straight up. Some ACs will follow (especially if they are a flying type). If you stop before the height limit, the other AC will fly above you and automatically lose. This trick works especially well in the Ex Arena-Master on the top five ranking AC.
Information in this section was contributed by a b.

If you are having trouble with a certain AC, bring it to the Parking Garage Arena. Equip yourself with the Spider Legs that hold 5000 weight and the Laser Gun that has 100 rounds and does around 1100 damage. Also equip a WC-01QL and the big long grenade launcher. Start out with the WC-01QL and hit your opponent until your energy meter beeps. Then use out grenade launcher and blow his head off. Switch back and forth until the WC-01QL runs out of ammunition. Use the Laser Rifle to finish the job.

Your best chance in the Arena and Ex Arenas are with heavily armored ACs. Use the most expensive caterpillar treads and the heaviest body armor. Then, equip weapons such as laser cannons and rockets. You should use the Beam Blade received from PROGTECH and get the generator that has the four rods. This will give you both excellent firepower and defense.
Information in this section was contributed by travis hudgins.

Sometimes, when battling enemy ACs at the parking lot, opponents will either back themselves into a corner or hide at the access ramp at the side of the arena that leads to the parking lot. This gives you a chance to get in a few powerful hits before they retaliate. Another advantage of the parking lot for AC battles is that it hampers or even neutralizes the effectiveness of missile attacks as they will often crash into the ceiling. Vertical launch missiles are practically useless here because of this. Keep in mind that the same restrictions apply to your own AC; adjust your strategy accordingly. Other options for Arena battles are the space dome, so you can pelt enemy ACs with large missiles; or the island base with the low wall near the edges of the arena, which allows you to hide behind the wall and use vertical missiles on your opponents. As always, some enemy ACs are either too fast or fly too high for these tactics to work. Experiment to see which works best for you and your combat style.

Hint: Strong arm weapon:
Purchase the 136,000 credit laser right arm weapon instead of the Karasawa. Then, equip the following option parts: Energy Weapon Power Increase and Burst Fire Rate for the Energy Weapon. It works better than the Karasawa, and weighs much less.
Information in this section was contributed by XpertLegend.

Hint: More Laserblade power:
To get more power in your Laserblade, jump just above the enemy and slice at the head. On most MTs, and using the Moonlight Laserblade, hitting them like this will result in instantly destruction of the unit.
Information in this section was contributed by Xpertlegend.

Hint: Defeating Ultimate 9-Ball:
To defeat the Ultimate 9-Ball use a combination of Large Missiles and a Karasawa. You should be able to get it on the third try.
Information in this section was contributed by Wolf505.

Use the 5000 weight four-legged type. Supply the very expensive laser rifle or the golden one that fires two lasers per shot, as well as the burst rate enhancer and the option part labeled E+. Also supply the Moonlight. Use a lightweight core and the arms the normal 9 Ball has so you can fit it all on. When the fight starts, Ultimate 9 Ball will fly straight at you. Fire the laser rifle a few times while moving towards him. Once up to him, start slashing with the Moonlight. He stops trying to fly every time you hit him with the Moonlight, and will not have time to do anything to kill you. Keep slashing until he explodes. It should take no longer than a minute and a half and you should lose no more than 500 AP.
Information in this section was contributed by Chris Mattern.

Hint: AC mechanics:
Any type of machine gun does little against heavy ACs or caterpillar treaded ACs. Laserblading is a very quick way of tipping the battle in your favor, especially when you have a rebel AC. Medium ACs represent the best overall performance against light and heavy ACs when not using rebel ACs. The KARASAWA is heavy, energy consuming, has little ammo, little targeting, but very effective against all ACs. It is easy to use missiles and handguns to stun your opponent long enough to laserblade them. The flamethrower is fun to use, but useless in reality. The super large missiles (large grayish black launcher) are the most powerful weapons in the game and also the most cheesiest. However, the prototype core has the best chance of intercepting missiles while the heavy core has the worst. The WA-Finger is not nearly effective as it was in Project Phantasma where it had twice the amount of ammunition. The "memory card" FCS (which resembles a memory card) is very compatible with the green rifle, quad mounted laser cannon, missiles, and has a very fast lock-on time. If you are building a regular AC and you keep getting "overweight" problems, try replacing your internal parts with something lighter (i.e. generator, booster, FCS). It is possible to defeat Ultimate 9-Ball with only the KARASAWA and a good booster.
Information in this section was contributed by Paul Sakuma.

Glitch: Radar in two player mode:
Player one's radar does not detect the enemy; it just stands in the middle of it.
