Hint: Extra points:
Adding grabs to your flips, spins and mistys are very helpful for points. Adding the combination of a Stiffie to Nosebone while in Fakie is very effective because the are worth at least 500 points. A good spin or flip can get up to 700 to 800 points, so you can get approximately 1200 points a jump with the right border comp. Use Jin for mistys, Irin or Yaggi for spins, and Boss or Alien for anything.

When you start the first level of the championship, instead of going straight, curve off to the left and make a jump. If you jump high enough to the right, you will jump on top of the building and get some major air and a lot of bonus points. Note: This only works doing the free style. It is recommended if you are playing as Snowman.
Information in this section was contributed by hottrod.

You can keep jumping backwards on any selected mode. If you do this, it gives you chance to get more points by moving backwards on the level.
Information in this section was contributed by Jordan.

Use the following trick to score at least 35 points. On the first wall, either an Alley Oop 360, or regular 360 with a Grab, Indy or Mute, or Stalefish. On the second wall, a regular Grab (Mute, Stalefish, Indy Nosebone). On the third wall, a Fakie Backflip with or with out a Grab. On the fourth wall, another Grab (Indy or other). On the fifth wall, an Alley Oop Johan Twist, or Crippler w/540 with or without a Grab. On the sixth wall, Shuffle 360, 540, 720, or higher. On the seventh wall, Shuffle to Fakie. On the eighth wall, finish. You should have enough tricks landed and combos made to make at least 35 points, plus you can add in new tricks as you go.

Hint: Snowboarder performance:

Jin is the fastest racer in the game, other than Snowman. Icefang is his best jump.
Irin is the best all-round boarder. Titan's Toe is her best jump. She is the best for tricks.
Yaggy is second best for tricks, out of the regular boarders.
Cindy is the worst boarder -- avoid using her.

Irin: All around T-3
Yaggi: Free T-3
Cindy: Alpine T-2

Hint: Secret boarder performance:
Information in this section was contributed by John P.

Boss is overall the best boarder in the game. Boss cannot be used in the competition mode, but can be used in the half pipe, big air, and two player modes. His best event in big air is Titan's Toe. If you perform a Fakie, Backside Misty 1080 , Stiffie To Indy Nosebone and get a good landing, will rank a score of about 1580 points.
Gray is the best spinner in the game. Like the Boss he cannot be used in competition mode. He can perform spins such as 2160s and higher. Gray is also very slow and has a SP board that can suck you into walls.
Snowman is the worst for doing jumps. Do not use him if you are trying to get points, but he can be used as a racer.

When you are near the bottom, have your snowboarder turn around. Then press Jump to jump back up the hill. You will not be able to go all the way up.
