Croc 2

Cheat mode:
Hold L1 and press Triangle, Left(2), Right, Square, Up(2), Left, Circle at the title screen. Then, hold L2 and press R2 during game play to access a cheat menu.

Unlimited crystals:
Hold L1 and press Square(2), Circle, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right at the title screen. Then, hold R2 and press Square or Triangle during the game play to add one hundred crystals to the current total at any time. Alternatively, hold R2 and press X during game play after activating the first part of the code.

Unlimited lives:
Hold L1 and press Circle, Down, Left, Up, Right, Triangle, Down at the title screen.

Start with nine Heartpots:
Hold R1 and press Left(2), Down, Circle, Square(2) at the title screen.

Hold R1 and press Left, Circle, Up, Down, Square, Circle, X at the title screen. Then, pause game play, press Select for options, and choose "Sound Options". Go to the "Music Volume" option and press L1 or R1 to cycle through the songs.

Hint: Trampoline Gobbo:
The Gobbo In Sailor Village challenges Croc to jump higher than he does. To do this, stand next to the trampoline with the jumping Gobbo and and press X(2). Then, while in the air and ready to stomp the ground, press X once more to make a very high jump.

Hint: Baron Bon Dante's World:
Complete the game, then collect all Gold Gobbo Trophies and Puzzle Pieces. Talk to Swap Meet Pete. He will take you to a twisted up version of all levels, but with nothing but Dantinis. Collect the colored gems from each level and get all the eggs to complete the game.

In the water boat race level, go through the waterfall to cut halfway across the track.

Hint: Find The Gobbo's Sandwich': Shortcut:
Later in the level, you will see a Dantini (a purple enemy that shoots shock rays) on a bridge, with another bridge over it. The bridge with the Dantini on it leads to a cave. Instead of taking that difficult route, look for a box with a ''?'' on it. Jump on it, then smash it. As soon as you fall to the ground, press X for the shortcut.

Hint: Swap Meet Pete:
There is a crystal ball when you enter Swap Meet Pete's store. Croc cannot buy it until he completes all the levels with that tribe. Return to visit Stinky Pete and you should be able to buy it.

Hint: Clockwork Gobbos:
When you use a Clockwork Gobbo it slows down quite quickly. There should be a heartpot behind the heart at the end of the area. You may not get them both at the same time.

Hint: Defeat Flavio The Thermal Fish:
When in the hot-air balloon, descend to the ground very slowly so you do not get hurt. When you pick up the ice cube, throw it by pressing Square. When Flavio is hit, fly to the closest ice cube, pick it up, and throw it at Flavio quickly. Continue this to defeat Flavio. Note: This will be easier if the "Unlimited lives" code is enabled.

Hint: Defeat Lava Lamp Larry:
With the "Unlimited lives" code enabled, just push the ice cubes into the lava holes depending on what number the smoke forms. Continue this to defeat Lava Lamp Larry.

Hint: Defeating Pirate Pete:
Avoid getting hit by the cannonballs that Pirate Pete shoots. Just use your tail attack to use the cannons on the jetty one at a time. The battle will be over quickly this way.

Hint: Defeating Soveena The Squid:
The Gobbo in the level gives you TNT. After you have hit Soveena The Squid twice, some of the crates will be covered with hot liquid metal that hurts Croc and also blows up the TNT box he has.

Hint: Defeating Venus von Flytrap:
With the "Unlimited lives" code enabled, roll the rocks into Venus von Flytrap's mouth with correct timing.

Hint: Defeating the Village Destroyer:
When the Village Destroyer breaths fire, throw the bucket of water into its mouth. Repeat this. Note: Watch out for the fire.

Hint: Secret level:
In every level there are five hidden colored crystals. If you get all the crystals in a level, you will get a Golden Gobbo. Collect all the Golden Gobbos in the first home world to unlock a secret level.

Hint: Jump higher:
Double jump, then while Croc in the air quickly hold Jump. When Croc drops down, he will automatically jump higher.

To make Croc do flips, run and press L1 + R1.

Complete the game and watch the credits. At the start it says, "Congratulations! You have completed the game 100%! Will there be sequel? You'll see!". Press X at the end of the credits to see a demo of Croc 3.

Glitch: Goo Man Chu's Tower: Stuck in wall:
When you are in Goo Man Chu's Tower, get next to the wall and run. Jump to the wall with a green arrow next to it. You will get stuck in the wall.
