Use the following trick to use the debug room without always using
a GameShark. Borrowing a GameShark and enter the debug room while
standing at the entrance to Dollet on Disc 1. One of the people
in one of the rooms (refer to the debug room guide) will allow
you to change which disc you are on. Choose Disc 4. Find the save
point (also in the guide) and save the game. The game slot should
say "Dollet - Town Square" and say "Disc 4"
in the disc indicator. Reset your game without a GameShark, and
select that game at the load screen. It will say "Please
insert Disc 4". Put in Disc 4, and the debug menu will eventually
load. Note: That the only way to exit it is to reset.
Information in this section was contributed by Evan.
To exit debug mode without resetting, make sure the GameShark
or Codebreaker code is active. Then, while in debug mode, press
R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 + Select
to return to main screen. Talk to the man in the bottom right
corner, then select the "To Main" option. He will give
you a selection of parts in the game. Select the one you left
off at. Note: There may be a glitch. Ignore it, as the game will
not crash.
Information in this section was contributed by Cyclops537.
The easiest way to get out of debug mode is to go to where the
Garden was before using the cheat. When you are finished using
the cheat, talk to the person at the bottom right corner of the
screen and choose "Fly to world". If you choose "Fly
to world" when you are in Esthar without the Ragnarok at
Balamb, you will not be able to continue the game. You can now
fly back to where you were.
