Play as Char's Zaku II:
Press Left, Up, Right, Down, Square, Triangle, Circle at the mode selection. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Select versus mode, then keep pressing Right at the Gundam selection screen. This Gundam is by far the fastest, and is very good at combos. The differences are that it is a dark maroon-like color and has a small crest above its head. Note: Press L1(4), R1(4), L1, R1, L1, R1, L1, R1, L1, R1 at the mode selection screen in the Japanese version of the game.

Alternate colors:
Press Start + X at the versus mode screen.

Unlock all Boss mobile suits:
To unlock all of the Boss mobile suits at once, successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting without using any continues.

Special attacks:
Press Down, Forward, Down, Forward, Square with any character to do their special attack.

Slow game play:
Once the battle begins, open the disc lid. The music will stop and game play will slow down significantly. Close the lid before you score the final hit or the game will glitch.

Hint: Gundam Maxter:
When playing with Gundam Maxter, change the time setting to 30 seconds. This is useful when playing in hard mode.
