Bikinis in free style swimming:
Highlight "100m Free Style" at the game select
screen and press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right,
Left, Right, Circle, X. The swimmers
will wear bikinis during the event.
Hidden gauges:
Choose the start option from the title screen. Enter
any event and pause the game. Hold L1 + L2 + R1
+ R2 + Square + X + Triangle + Circle.
Keep these buttons held and repeatedly press Up or Down
to move the gauges off the screen.
Space shuttle:
In the Pole Vault, clear the qualifying height of 4.5
meters on the first attempt. On the second attempt, set the pole
to 5.0 meters and clear it. A space shuttle will fly by when the
pole is set again.
Tyrannosaurus Rex:
In the Shot Put, get a distance composed of all the
same digits, such as "11.11" or "55.55". A
Tyrannosaurus Rex will appear behind the crowd in the stadium.
UFO:
In the Javelin, tap Square or Circle
button once and to begin jogging towards the foul line. When the
angle meter appears, press and hold X to get it over 60
degrees.. When the meter rises begin pressing the Square
or Circle button rapidly. Make sure you are running at
a high speed and release the javelin before the foul line. The
javelin must be thrown with the maximum power at an angle of more
than 60 degrees. A UFO will fall into the stadium with the javelin
protruding from it.
On the Javelin event, qualify the first two times. Then on the
third, throw the javelin as high as possible, and it will knock
a UFO out of the sky for 3,000 points.

Get a perfect on the Skeet Shooting stage. Shoot the UFO that
flies by for 3,000 points.

Birds:
In the Discus, get a distance that matches in meters
and centimeters, such as "55.55" or "23.23".
A flock of birds will appear above the stadium.
Mole:
In the Triple Jump or Long Jump, match the last three
numbers of your distance, such as "13.33" or "19.99".
A mole will appear from the location of your jump.
Balloon:
In the Hammer Throw, distance that matches in meters
and centimeters, such as "1.01", "21.21",
or "35.35". A balloon will appear from the crowd
Blimp:
In the High Jump, qualify in the first attempt. On
the second attempt, adjust the bar more than 40cm and clear it.
During the third jump, a blimp will appear.
Astronaut:
Sometimes if you make three jumps and qualify during
the Triple Jump, and the other player hits the buttons during
the jump controller two, a tiny astronaut will fall from the sky
into the dirt and give you 3,000 points.

Cat:
Sometimes during the archery stage, if you make a bullseye
the second to last arrow, a cat will walk across the screen with
an apple on its head. Shoot it off to get 3,000 points.

Hints:
100m Dash
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Press X to lean forward at the finish line.
110m Hurdles
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible and press X to jump the hurdles.
Long Jump
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible before reaching the foul line. Then, hold X
until an angle of 45 degrees is reached.
Triple Jump
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible, then press X button before the foul line to
jump. Press X again as you come down for the second jump.
Hold the X button until a 45 degree angle is reached for
the final jump.
High Jump
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Hold X to jump. Release it after you clear
the bar.
Pole Vault
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. The pole will automatically plant. Hold X
to get your body over the bar. Release it to kick your legs over
the bar.
Hammer Throw
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Hold X when you start the fourth spin. Release
it when a 45 degree angle is reached.
Javelin
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Hold X as you approach the start line and
release when a 45 degree angle is reached.
Discus
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Hold X when you start the second spin. Release
it when a 45 degree angle is reached.
Shot Put
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Hold X when you get near to the front of the
circle. Release it when a 45 degree angle is reached.
100m Freestyle
Tap Square and/or Circle buttons as rapidly
as possible. Press X just before the 50m wall to turn around.
