Revealing codes:
Win a game in championship mode to reveal a code.

All-Time teams:
Press Circle at the team selection screen in
exhibition mode to cycle between normal teams, all-time teams,
and SuperBowl teams. Every team has an all-time team. Almost every
team has the original jerseys. For example, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
now wear the red and black; on the all-time team, they have their
orange and white throwback jerseys.

Super Bowl Champion team:
Hold Circle and press Down at the team
selection screen in exhibition mode. The Super Bowl teams range
from 1967 Packers to the 2002 Patriots. The jerseys are all the
same, despite the year's actual true jersey may not be the same
as their current version.

Hint: Announced player names:
Create a player with a last name of someone already
in the game. His name will be announced during game play.

Hint: Easy sacks:
Get one of your linebackers between two of the defensive
tackles at the line of scrimmage. Get back a few steps behind
the tackles and wait until the quarterback calls the first hike.
Charge your player right up into the line of scrimmage and try
not to get offsides.

To sack the quarterback easily, line the defense up in the nickel
package and play as the middle safety. Move him about 5 yards
from the offensive line and wait for the snap. Charge the line
and you should break the coverage and leave nothing between you
and the quarterback.

Choose a team with a fast defensive end (for example, Abraham
on the Jets ). Take a few steps back, then go to the left. When
the QB calls hike, run around the blockers and there he is.

Hint: Recommended defensive plays:
There are three very good defensive plays that can
shutdown even the most potent of offenses. Choose the Nickle-Prevent,
4-4 Special, or the 4-6 Corner Blitz.
Information in this section was contributed by Adam Carlton.
Hint: Recommended offense plays:
There are quite a bit of good offensive plays but the
ones that are recommended for a blowout are the Shotgun-Deep Post,
24 Hit running play, and the 4-4 Hail Mary. Use these plays carefully.
When you hit them, they can do wonders for your team.
Information in this section was contributed by Adam Carlton.
Hint: QB Ratings:
The QB ratings range from 158 to 19.

Hint: Easy points:
Go for the onside kick every chance you get. You almost
always recover it. Do not change your kick formation to onside
middle, left, or right. The CPU will also change theirs. Once
you recover the ball, use the shotgun plays rapidly. This should
amount to a lot of quick and easy points.
Information in this section was contributed by Adam Carlton.
Hint: Defeating the Cowboys:
A way to defeat the Cowboys when you are on offense
is to go for deep throws. Go to "Shotgun", then choose
"Go Route". One player is almost always open. Also try
the formation "5 Wide", then choose the play "Shallow".
It is a long pass and the Cowboys are weak protecting the middle.
The cowboys are also weak when it comes to the outside. When playing
defense, the Cowboys usually pass either very long or short. A
good play to use is "Formation: Custom" and the "Stay
Home" play. Also, you should take a middle line backer and
make him blitz between the two tackles, making it harder for the
quarterback to throw.

Glitch: Mispronunciation:
Create a player and enter his last name as Jones.
The announcer will say "Johneson" (spelled as it sounds)
instead of "Jones".
Information in this section was contributed by MJonz20.
Glitch: No team name announced:
Enable the "Mile High stadium" code. The
announcer still says "The home of (home team)".
Information in this section was contributed by MJonz20.
Glitch: Same cheerleader:
The Redskins and Buccaneers have the same cheerleader
shown after games.
Information in this section was contributed by MJonz20.
Glitch: Lag:
If you throw the ball too far and it seems like the
game freezes, do not turn it off. Just wait for the ref to get
the ball. It will take a few seconds.
