Hint: Save attachment slots in your armor:
Use the following trick to save slots in your armor
before any battle. Attach your reloaded weapon. If your weapon
runs out of ammo in battle, just fire and the weapon will reload
automatically with the ammo you just last reloaded.

Hint: Black card: The Black card is found in the garden (just north of
the church; the door is on Aya's left in the room) This card does
two things. First, it allows you to keep everything you find in
the Akropolis Tower, except weapons and armor. Second, it is the
keycard for the Armory in the shelter. The Armory includes unlimited
P.B. hand gun bullets, Hydra bullets, and Buckshot. There is also
a SP12 shotgun that can be obtained. The Black card is not referred
to as the Armory card until you unlock the door on the right of
the BP machine.

Hint: Belt Pouches: When you are in Dry Field before you go to get a wrench
from the junk yard keeper, you can find a Belt Pouch on the floor
behind the counter of the Indian artifact store. When you get
ready to leave the shelter in the parking lot, there is a box
disabling the lift. The number 11 is glowing. That is were the
box with the belt pouch is located.

Once you either get an "L" rank or get the Medicine
Wheel from the garbage pile in the shelter, almost every other
fight that you receive an item will result in a "bonus item",
usually consisting of either 50 Spartan Rounds, or a Belt Pouch.

Hint: Hidden box: After killing the garbage NMC, go back to the dumping
area to find a box with the medicine wheel and NMCs on the way
back to get even more BP. Note: You only have 5 minutes to get
there and back.
Information in this section was contributed by DLBHUNTER1.
Hint: Hidden capsule: In the Akropolis Tower, at the place where you see
Poseidon's Fountain, get rid of the water. Do this by putting
the key that No. 9 dropped inside the church in the machine where
you inserted the blue key with a feather attached on it (the power
room where you get to see the hidden cameras). Then, get the grenade
launcher from the dead S.W.A.T. member in the fountain. If you
turn around, there will be a tree with red leaves. Press X
and Aya will say that it is the only tree with red leaves. She
then says that there is a path hidden behind it. Press X
again and she will walk up behind the tree. You will find a capsule
that restores all your HP and adds 5 more health points to your
normal HP total.

Hint: Hidden Hydra ammunition: Before you fight the ANMC in the Neo Ark, look to your
left before going up the stairs. There will be a little passageway
there. Go down the passageway, and once you get to the back you
will find a wooden box. Inside is 500 Hydras for your gun you
start off with.
Information in this section was contributed by HellDragon75.
After you fall down into the garbage area (in the shelter), walk
to the side and search the garbage. Do not go too far or the garbage
blob will appear. You will find 9mm or hydra bullets. Then, walk
right across to get the other.
Information in this section was contributed by DLBHUNTER1.
Hint: Hidden Ringer solutions: Before you fight the Boss that is controlled by Eve,
empty all your items/attachments in a box. Put everything in there
except for the M4a1 hammer. After you go down the elevator in
the Neo Ark, wait until you get in Eve's room. Once there, answer
the phone when it rings. After that, pick up the phone and save
the game. Do not worry if your HP is low. Then, speak to Kile
and then go around the end of the bed. You will find all the Ringer
Solutions you can carry -- get them now. If you go back over were
the door is, you cannot get them. Put them in your attachments
and them get some more. After that, continue with more Ringer
Solutions. Note: A Ringer Solution will give you full life, no
matter how much you currently have.

Check the locker for solutions in the lab where Aya dreamt of
Eve lying on a bed. It is on the left, close the door from the
elevator passage

Hint: New P08 magazine: When in the Dryfield cellar, check the gun cabinet
near the table a few times. Eventually you will receive a Snail
Magazine that can be used on the P08 to increase its capacity
by 25 rounds. Note: You must have the P08 in your current inventory
for this to work.

Hint: Extra ammunition: Follow the Pierce way and when you are at the military
base, ask the soldier if you can have some ammo. You will get
have 100 Grenades, R.Slug, Spartan bullets, Airbust, 5.56 mm Rifle
Rounds for free. You will also get better things at the shop at
the base, such as the javelin or the Aya's Special.
Information in this section was contributed by Guillermo Gefaell.
Hint: Hidden items: Save Pierce's life at the water tower at dryfield.
Then, go to the ice dispenser in front of Room 4. Get an ice bag
and go back to Pierce. Continue until you get a fourth cola drink,
MP Boost 2, and Ofuda.
Information in this section was contributed by kester bemigho.
Hint: Saving MP: Whenever you have enough experience to get a new PE
ability, first go into a battle and use up all your MP or heal
to use it up. Then, learn the new PE ability. You will get all
of your MP back by leveling up.
Information in this section was contributed by fred wilde.
Hint: Super combo: Try using Pyrokinesis level 3, quickly followed by
the Laser (Javelin) and then a three shot burst of M4A1 rifle
bullets. This should all be done in quick succession to cause
maximum damage.
Information in this section was contributed by fred wilde.
Hint: Defeating the fire-breathing ANMC
in Dryfield: When fighting the ANMC, use your grenade launcher (and
have lots of grenades). When you start the fight, you should be
directly in front of your room door. Run to the stairway. You
will be out of range, but he will still get you with fire. Quickly
aim the grenade pistol to his face. When he is about to breath
fire at you (he will start opening his mouth), fire the grenade.
He will miss the blast. Reload as fast as you can and wait for
him to open his mouth again. Do not let him open it too much or
you will get burned. Repeat this until he dies. Note: This will
allow you to save Flint, as the ANMC will not step on the ground.
Information in this section was contributed by Reinaldo Ramos.
Hint: Defeating the ANMC at the Dumping
Hole in Shelter in Nightmare mode: You will need the Grenade Launcher, level 1 Energy
Shot, at least 50 MP, eight Grenade bullets, PO8 (Snail Magazine
optional), and some 9mm Hydra bullets. Load your Grenade Launcher
with Grenade bullets and PO8 with 9mm Hydra bullets. Equip your
Grenade Launcher, then put your PO8 in your armor. At the beginning
of battle, immediately cast Energy Shot then shoot him when he
opens his mouth. Refer to this attack as the "Vacuum".
Turn around, then runaway from him until he opens his mouth wider.
This is the signal that his "Vacuum" is about to stop.
Immediately stop running once you see him open his mouth wider.
Immediately reload, then shoot him. Reload, then run to the last
brown vertical line on the floor. Wait there until those falling
objects are completely gone. Run towards him until you change
screens and stay there. Shoot him once he is about to do the "Vacuum"
again, then immediately cast Pyrokinesis. Immediately reload,
shoot him, then cast Pyrokinesis again. Reload immediately. Just
ignore his "Vacuum", because with that distance he will
stop before Aya completely arrives in his mouth. Run to the last
brown vertical line again and wait until those falling objects
are completely gone. Repeat the steps. After that, he will move
closer. Run away from him until you change screens twice and make
sure that you can see him. Shoot him once he is about to do the
"Vacuum" again, then immediately cast Pyrokinesis. Reload
immediately. Shoot him and he will go down. There are some times
that he will remain standing after the last shot. When this happens,
immediately equip your PO8, then shoot him until he goes down.
On the second round, you will still need the Grenade Launcher
and PO8, but this time you will only need four Grenade bullets.
Equip your PO8, then put your Grenade Launcher in your armor.
At the beginning of battle, turn around, then run away until you
reach a dead end. Step on the panel at the lower-rightmost corner.
Then, run to the lower-leftmost corner and wait for him there.
Just run against the lower-leftmost corner once he does the "Vacuum".
His "Smoke" attack will not be able to hit you there.
Wait for the elevator to arrive. Once it appears, run to the lower-leftmost
tip of the elevator then cast Energy Shot. His "Smoke"
attack still will not be able to hit you there. Shoot him once
he is about to do the "Vacuum". Ignore his "Vacuum"
because with that distance he will stop before Aya completely
arrives at his mouth. Run to the lower-leftmost tip of the elevator
again. Repeat the steps until he moves closer. Once he moves closer,
run away from him until you reach a dead end. Go to the upper-rightmost
corner. His "Smoke" attack still will not be able to
hit there, and once again just ignore his "Vacuum".
Repeat that strategy until he steps on the elevator. Once that
happens, go to the lower-leftmost tip of the elevator. Shoot his
right shoulder until you make a critical hit. He will scream,
then do the "Vacuum" afterwards. Cast Energy Shot when
it wears out. Ignore his "Vacuum" because it is completely
harmless now. Equip your Grenade Launcher, shoot him, then immediately
cast Pyrokinesis. Reload, shoot him, then cast Pyrokinesis again.
Immediately reload, then run to the lower-leftmost tip of the
elevator again. Equip your PO8, then shoot his right shoulder
until you get another a critical hit. Equip your Grenade Launcher,
then repeat the steps. If you run out of grenades, use your PO8
to finish the job.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the fire-breathing ANMC
in Mojave Desert in Nightmare mode: You will need the PO8 (with or without Snail Magazine),
sixty to seventy-five 9mm Spartan bullets, and Level 1 Energy
Shot. Load your PO8 with 9mm Spartan bullets and M93R with 9mm
P.B. bullets. Equip your PO8, then put your M93R and 9mm Spartan
bullets in your armor before you go to sleep. At the beginning
of battle the ANMC will do one of the following. It will either
smash the floor with his arm; swing his arm; or breathe fire in
a flame attack. Reset the game if you see him do either the second
or third type of attacks. Things will be much easier if he does
the first type of attack. At the beginning of battle, press Square
as you face right. Then, run and turn right while running until
you change screens. Move north while running against the right
wall until you change screens. Release all buttons so that Aya
will face the ANMC. Immediately hold Down until you change
screens again and stay there. You can only see the ANMC's head
here, and you must be here before he gets close to you and do
the flame attack. If done correctly, his flame will not be able
to hit you here, and he will not attack you with any physical
attack. Cast Energy Shot and wait until his flame attack stops.
Then, shoot him. After five to six shots he will do the flame
attack again. Repeat the steps and he will not be able to escape.
If you are using an ordinary PO8, reload while he is doing the
flame attack to get another five to six shots on your next turn.
Do not shoot him while he is doing the flame attack or it will
hit you. Also, do not cast Necrosis on him because the same thing
will happen. Do not use your PO8 on the second round because you
may need the remaining 9mm Spartan bullets later in the game.
Use your M93R until he goes down. Note: You will only need to
prevent him from escaping the first round to save Flint.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the ANMC Boss at the entrance
of the shelter in Nightmare mode: You will need the Grenade Launcher, PO8 (with or without
Snail Magazine), four Riot bullets, LV.1 Energy Shot, and at least
forty 9mm Spartan bullets. Before you open the door where the
Boss is located, load your PO8 with 9mm Spartan bullets and the
grenade launcher with Riot bullets. Equip your PO8, then put your
grenade launcher and 9mm Spartan bullets in your armor. At the
beginning of battle (first round), immediately cast Energy Shot
once the white screen fades out. Then run after him or run in
the opposite direction. Keep running all the time and his attacks
will not be able to hit you. Keep pressing Square while
running so that you will know where the Boss is located. If you
see him staying on one corner, immediately shoot him. If you see
him staying on the other side, wait for him to move and determine
if he is going your way. If he is going your way, immediately
run in the opposite direction until you are behind him, then shoot
him. If he is going the other way, run after him, then shoot him.
Do this repeatedly and he will go down in about fifteen to twenty
shots. On the second round, immediately equip your grenade launcher
once the white screen fades out. Then, follow the same strategy
used during the first round. However this time you do not have
to shoot him. You must shoot a gasoline drum when he gets near.
It will explode and will damage him a lot. There are four gasoline
drums total. They are located in each corner of the room. All
four of them must hit him. If one of the gasoline drums missed
him, you may want to reset the game and start again. He will be
much easier if all of the gasoline drums hit him. Immediately
reload after every shot, then lure him to the other gasoline drum.
After shooting all of the gasoline drums, equip your PO8 then
cast Energy Shot. Repeat the same strategy, then shoot him when
you have the chance. He will go down after about twenty to twenty-five
shots.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the ANMC Baby: To defeat the ANMC Baby in the end, killing all the
parts, load your .44 Magnum (recommended) or the M4 Grenade. Activate
Antibody and Energyshot. Keep moving so that he has to move all
the time. When you have the back parts on sight, shoot a grenade
and then Pyrokinessys. The back "tails" will born again.
You have to shoot the place from where it grows. If you do not
stop moving, he mostly will not hurt you.
Information in this section was contributed by Guillermo Gefaell.
Make sure you have about 200 to 300 grenades. Use Antibody and
stand in one of the corner platforms. Then, use any level of Energy
Shot (level 3 recommended). Make sure you have everything you
need in attachments then use the grenade launcher or the grenade
launcher attachment for the M4A1 assault rifle, Destroy the head
and the neck on the ANMC Baby. It will open its chest and use
its powerful attack. Make sure you use Antibody for this part
and Energy Shot. Make sure you are on a corner platform. Go to
the far back and keep shooting grenades into its chest when it
opens up. The baby's special attack will take half of your health
out if you use Antibody, no matter how high your health is. Keep
healing when needed and keep shooting the open chest. After about
thirty grenades it will end up dying. You can then go on to the
next fight, but make sure to reattach your things.
Information in this section was contributed by NorgGarden.
Hint: Defeating the ANMC Baby and all its
parts in Nightmare mode: You will need the Grenade Launcher, Holy Water, Tactical
Vest, M4A1 Javelin, one Ringer's Solution, Mongoose, Skull Crystal,
and LV. 1 Energy Shot. Before you open the door where the ANMC
Baby is located, load your Mongoose with 44 Maeda SP bullets,
M4A1 Javelin with 5.56 Rifle bullets, and Grenade Launcher with
Grenade bullets. Equip your Mongoose, then put your Grenade Launcher,
M4A1 Javelin, Holy Water, Skull Crystal, and Ringer's Solution
in your armor. At the beginning of battle, immediately cast Energy
Shot once the white screen fades out. Refer to where Aya is standing
as the "first summit". Then, immediately keep shooting
his head until it melts down. Do not worry about getting hit by
his "laser" attack because it will not kill in one shot.
If his head is still there after twelve shots, immediately take
your Ringer's Solution. After destroying his head, immediately
equip your Grenade Launcher. Then, shoot his neck but do not reload
because he will use his "neckblast" attack. To avoid
this, once you hear the charging sound immediately run to the
middle of the inclined floor at the right side of Aya. Refer to
this place as the "second summit". Stay there until
it is over. Then, immediately run back to the first summit. Reload,
then immediately shoot his neck. Do not reload or cast Energy
Shot while you are on the second summit or his lower body will
attack you. Note that you will only need to shoot his neck three
times. After that, destroy the outer layer of his right shoulder.
Then, shoot his right shoulder five times ( if your Energy Shot
is LV. 2; four times if your Energy Shot is LV. 3). Next, shoot
his left shoulder three times. Make sure that you reload at the
corect moment so that his "neckblast" attack will not
hit you. Do not shoot when your Energy Shot wears out. Cast another
Energy Shot at the first summit, then do your job. After that,
your next target is his lower body. Wait until he is about to
do either the "neckblast" or shoot gas from his shoulders.
Then, immediately run to the second summit. Immediately shoot
his lower body, run back to the first summit, and reload immediately.
You will need to shoot his lower body eight times before it goes
down (eight times if your Energy Shot is LV. 2; and seven times
if your Energy shot is LV. 3). On your eighth shot, run pass the
second summit, then run to the lowest corner. Wait for the Boss
to face you, shoot his lower body, then reload immediately. After
that, he will open his chest and will do his most powerful attack.
Immediately run back to the first summit, then shoot his right
shoulder. Reload immediately, then shoot his neck. Reload immediately,
then shoot his left shoulder. Reload immediately, then immediately
run to the side of the ANMC Baby's left shoulder. Do not stop
running until his most powerful attack is over. Shoot his left
shoulder, then reload immediately. Always keep Aya close to the
side of the Boss' left shoulder, but do not go beyond the side
of his left shoulder or his tail will attack you. Do this repeatedly
until his left shoulder is completely gone. After that your next
target is his left tail. Keep running and keep Aya close to the
side of the Boss' left shoulder. Equip your Mongoose, then shoot
his left tail ones and let the poison kill it. After his left
tail is gone, it will leave a hole. Equip your M4A1 Javelin, then
keep running (stay close to the wall while doing so) until it
shoots you with orb made of gas. Immediately stop running once
you see it shooting you with orb made of gas. Shoot that hole
with your Laser Javelin until it goes down. After that, your next
target is his right tail. Keep running until you are behind him,
but do not get too close to his right tail or it will attack you.
Equip your Mongoose, then do the same thing. After that, your
next target is his lower body (back). Equip your Grenade Launcher,
then keep running and always keep Aya behind the Boss. Shoot his
lower body (back), then reload immediately. Do this repeatedly
until it goes down. His lower body (back) is completely harmless,
so do not worry. After destroying his lower body (back), keep
running and keep Aya behind him. While running, notice that the
room has three lower corners. Keep running and observe the distances
between the Boss and the lower corners of the room. Go to the
lower corner that has the farthest distance to the Boss and stay
there. His most powerful will not be able to hit you there. Equip
your M4A1 Javelin and wait for him to face you. When he opens
his chest, shoot him with your M4A1 Javelin (not laser). Do not
stop until he closes his chest. Immediately run to the other lower
corner and wait for him there. He will open his chest again while
you are on your way to the other lower corner. Just keep running
until you reach the other lower corner and his most powerful attack
will not be able to hit you. Stay there and wait for him to face
you. Shoot him when he opens his chest and do not stop until he
closes his chest. Then, immediately run to the other lower corner
and wait for him there. Do this repeatedly until he goes down.

Hint: Defeating the ANMC in Neo Ark in
Nightmare mode: This ANMC is an optional Boss. You will need the PO8
(Snail Magazine optional), level 1 Energy Shot, and fifty to sixty
9mm Hydra bullets. Load your PO8 with 9mm Hydra bullets then equip
it. At the beginning of battle, immediately run around the pool
and do not stop until his "Electric Spit" attack is
over. Cast Energy Shot, then shoot him. Just wait for him to come
out if he dives in the pool, then shoot him. Immediately run around
the pool once you hear him charging electricity again. Then, shoot
him when it is over. Do this repeatedly until he goes down.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the ANMC in Shelter in
Nightmare mode: This Boss can be fought after you are done in Neo Ark.
You will need the PO8 (with or without Snail Magazine), M950,
Mongoose, Level 1 Energy Shot, and Level 1 Necrosis (optional).
Load your PO8 with 9mm Spartan bullets, M950 with 9mm Hydra bullets,
and Mongoose with 44 Magnum bullets. Before you open the door
where the ANMC Boss is located, equip your Mongoose, then put
your PO8 and M950 in your armor. Cast Energy Shot at the beginning
of battle. Then, run and destroy the MP draining machines. Destroy
the left one first because it is closer to you. After that, run
to the upper-leftmost corner and stay there. You can only see
half of the ANMC's body from this position. Do not use your Mongoose
on him because you may need those remaining 44 Magnum bullets
later in the game. Use your PO8, then shoot him. Each of the ANMC's
attacks has its own kind of sound. You will be able to recognize
what attack he is going to use. When you hear him shoot a laser,
immediately hold Up when you see the laser. You will be
knocked-down by some sort of barrier and the laser will miss you.
When he is going to shoot you with orbs, wait for the correct
moment to bump the barrier. The orbs will miss you. He is immune
to Necrosis except when he is about to use his most powerful attack.
When this happens, immediately cast Necrosis on him once you hear
the charging sound. The poison will cancel his attack. If you
do not want to use your experience to revive Necrosis, wait for
the correct moment to bump the barrier and his most powerful attack
will miss you. Repeat this and he will go down quickly. Use your
M950 when your PO8 runs out of bullets.

Hint: Defeating the Dryfield Boss in bounty
mode: First, level up your Necrosis to level 2 or 3 (recommended,
as you will be using it often in the latter part of the game).
Also have Energy Shot at level 2 or 3. Have is an M4A1 Rifle (with
or without attachments, and a lot of ammunition), an MP Boost
1 or 2, and some Recovery 1, 2, or 3. As soon as the battle starts,
cast Necrosis on the Boss. Necrosis acts like a "poison".
The constant damage it deals prevents the Boss from performing
any attacks. Then, run towards the right side of Room 6 (at the
side of the loft, not the side of Room 5, and do not go at the
corner. Remain close to the wall. After that, target the Boss
and fire away with the M4A1 Rifle. After one or two rounds of
the Mag, cast Necrosis again and continue firing from the same
position. If you are running out of MP, just use some MP Boost
1 or MP Boost 2. The Boss will not be able to do anything (attacks,
or even the flamethrower) but stagger, take damage, and die.

Hint: Defeating Golem: Golem's first attack will be either his "Laser
Sight" or his "Neck Grab" attack. You can easily
evade his Laser Sight by simply running towards him until it is
over. However, his Neck Grab is very dangerous because it will
give you Confusion and can even kill you. When he grabs Aya's
neck, immediately press Square and Circle alternately
as fast as you can. If done correctly, he will let you go and
it will electrocute him.

Hint: Defeating Knight or Bishop Golems:
Turn up the volume when he teleports. You will hear
a sound, but sometimes it will be hologram and it will not make
that sound. Try stunning him with a hammer and then shoot it with
the gun. Plasma works just like a hammer. Repeat this process
until he falls.

Hint: Defeating No.9 in the Mojave Desert:
Run through the doorway where you came in. Then, run
to the uppermost corner and wait for him there. Cast Pyrokinesis
when he is about to attack. Then, run back through the doorway
where you came in. Go to the upper-rightmost corner and wait for
him there. If done correctly, he will get stuck by the doorway.
Walk towards him until there is no space to walk anymore (just
beside the chair).Cast Pyrokinesis when he is about to attack.
Take a Cola (or MP Boost 1) when you run out of MP. Cast Pyrokinesis
again and No.9 will go down before your MP runs out.

Hint: Defeating No.9 in Akropolis Tower
in Nightmare mode: You will need the Grenade Launcher, MP5A5, M93R, and
Tactical Vest. Load your grenade launcher with grenade bullets
and MP5A5 and M93R with 9mm P.B. bullets. Equip your grenade launcher
,then put your MP5A5 and M93R in your armor. Reset the game if
one of the cables did not hit him. At the beginning of battle,
immediately shoot him, then run one step towards him. Cast Pyrokinesis
to push him away, then reload. Shoot him, run one step towards
him, then cast Pyrokinesis again. Do this repeatedly until you
run out of Grenades and MP. Ignore his Grenade Shot attack because
it will not hit you. Turn around, then run until you see the cable.
Run past it until you change screens. Equip your M93R and stay
there. His grenade shot attack will be able to hit you this time.
To avoid it, run one step towards him. Wait for the smoke to disappear,
then walk one step backwards by holding down. Shoot the cable
once you see him running towards you. If not, just wait for him
to walk close to the cable. Run to the second cable, then run
pass one step away from it. Do the same with what you did on the
first cable. If he puts his sword on fire, walk three steps backwards
then immediately shoot the cable. Run to the third cable. This
time there is a steam pipe near it. Stay on the corner, then equip
your MP5A5. You already know what to do with his grenade shot
attack. Shoot the cable once you see him running towards you.
Immediately shoot the steam pipe once the cable hit him. Shoot
him with the remaining bullets of your MP5A5 to defeat No.9.

Hint: Defeating the Super Spider in Mojave
Desert in Nightmare mode: This is the first Super Spider in the game. You will
need the Grenade Launcher, PO8, one Pepper Spray, two Riot bullets,
and at least fourteen 9mm Spartan bullets. Load your Grenade Launcher
with Riot bullets and PO8 with 9mm Spartan bullets. Equip your
Grenade Launcher ,then put your PO8 and Pepper Spray in your armor.
At the beginning of battle immediately shoot the iron bar at the
right side of Aya. The Riot bullet will explode and it will hit
the Super Spider. It will also stun him for awhile. Immediately
reload, shoot him, then quickly use the Pepper Spray on him. Equip
your PO8, then cast Energy Shot. Shoot him and he will go down
in about eight to fourteen shots.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the Super Spider in Shelter
in Nightmare mode: You will need the P229, level 1 Energy Shot, and 25
to 30 9mm Spartan bullets. Load your P229 with 9mm Spartan bullets
then equip it. At the beginning of battle immediately press Square
then walk two steps backwards. He may be invisible, but somehow
you should be able to see him coming towards you. Wait until you
see him entirely, then immediately press R2 to stun him
for awhile with your flashlight. Immediately cast Energy Shot,
then shoot him once. Do the flashlight again, then shoot him two
to three times. Do this repeatedly until he goes down. Make sure
to save at least fifteen shots of your flashlight because you
will need it to defeat the Super Spider in Mojave Desert later
in the game.
Information in this section was contributed by wilpeter lao.
Hint: Defeating the second Super Spider
in Mojave Desert in Nightmare mode: Take the stairs at the general store to go down to
the underpass. He may be invisible, but somehow you should be
able to see him above. You will need the P229 with at least ten
flashlight shots, level 1 Energy Shot, and 15 to 25 9mm Hydra
bullets. Load your P229 with 9mm Hydra bullets, then equip it.
Face him, then walk slowly until the screen turns white. Immediately
walk one step backwards. Quikcly press Square, then press
R2 to stun him for awhile with your flashlight. Immediately
cast Energy Shot then shoot him six times. Do the flashlight again,
then shoot him three times. Do the flashlight again, then shoot
him three times. Do the flashlight again, then reload. Shoot him
once, then do the flashlight again. Shoot him three times, then
do the flashlight again. Do this repeatedly until he goes down.

Hint: Defeating the final Boss in Nightmare
mode: You will need the Grenade Launcher, M4A1 Javelin, Lv.
1 Energy Shot, and Skull Crystal (optional). Load your Grenade
Launcher with Grenade bullets. Equip your Grenade Launcher, then
put your M4A1 Javelin and Skull Crystal in your armor. At the
beginning of battle, immediately run straight to your left until
there is no space to run anymore (refer to this place as the "summit")
and stay there. There is a good possibility that she will fly
above. Cast Energy Shot, then shoot her when she comes down. Reload
immediately. If she did not fly above, she will move to the left
and will fly towards you. To avoid this, wait until you hear a
sound, then immediately run to your left until she disappears.
Cast Energy Shot and stay where you are. After three to four seconds
after she disappears, run back to the "summit". Otherwise
she will come out from some sort of portal and will hit you if
you do not run. Stay at the "summit" and after three
to four seconds, run back to your left again until she disappears.
Do this repeatedly until she appears at the center of the bridge.
When she appears at the center of the bridge, run to the "summit",
then run two or three steps towards her. Shoot her, then reload
immediately. Shoot her again when she put her hands together,
but do not reload. Shoot her with your Laser Javelin and do not
stop until she moves to the left. Reload your Grenade Launcher
when she moves to the left. She will fly towards you again. Repeat
the steps. When her HP drops to one half, she will fly above and
will appear either on your left or right side. She will shoot
you with orbs which will give you with different kinds of sickness.
To avoid this, immediately run straight to the other "summit".
Then, turn right or left while running so that those orbs will
hit the floor. Do not forget to always press Square so
that you will know where the Boss is going. When she moves to
the "summit", immediately position Aya directly at the
other "summit", then run to your left, but do not change
screens. Wait for the Boss to arrive at the other Summit. Immediately
run towards her, then run to the bridge, but do not change screens
(move far enough where she will not hit you when she flies and
where her hands will not be able to reach you). Shoot her with
Grenade Launcher, then reload immediately. Wait for her to fly
either on your left or right side, then immediately run to the
"summit" that is closest to you. Wait for her next move.
When she summons her clone, shoot it with your Laser Javelin.
Repeat the steps and the Boss will go down quickly. The Boss will
go down much faster if you shoot her with your Mongoose (loaded
with 44 Maeda SP or 44 Magnum bullets).

Hint: Defeating Golems: A very easy way to kill a Golem is to use the R-Slug
rounds for the shotgun. They will go down after three to four
hits at most. When facing Golems with grenade launchers, shoot
them at the exact moment they reload. The grenades will explode
in their faces and do a lot of damage.

When you think you could be fighting a red or purple Golem, walk
with your back against the wall some distance. This way, the Golem
cannot use the neck grab move (which may kill you in one hit in
nightmare mode). instead, if you have moved close enough to it,
it will use the laser sight and charge you. To avoid this, run
in the other direction or run toward it until you get behind it.
Note: Moving behind it does not always work. While fighting it,
listen carefully when it teleports next to you; keep your back
against the wall. You can always tell when it is a hologram or
not. If it is not a hologram, you will hear a strange noise when
it shows itself. When it is the real thing, run past before it
attacks, then turn your back against the next wall and fire. It
helps to be aware of your surroundings and know before the attack
where you can move safely to next. By keeping your back against
the wall, you will eliminate one of the Golem's strongest attacks.

Hint: Defeating red and purple Golems:
A simple technique to use when killing the red and
purple Golems is the Energy Ball P-energy. When they teleport
and grab your neck, the Energy Balls will hit and stun them for
a second. Target and shoot them. The other Energy Balls will hit
and kill them. It takes four Energy Balls to knock a red Golem
down and three to knock a Purple one down. Then shoot them once
or twice afterwards.

Hint: Easy experience and bounty points:
When fighting the ANMC at the Dumping Area in Shelter,
shoot his left or right shoulder until you make a critical hit.
Each critical hit will make him smash the floor. This will increase
his experience by forty points and bounty points by eighty points.
You will only need to make four critical hits, as his experience
and bounty points will not increase any more after that. Do the
same thing on the second round, but do not step on the first panel.
You can step on the first panel but do not shoot his mouth several
times or he will step on the elevator. Once he steps on the elevator,
his experience and bounty points will no longer increase. Also,
do not step on the second panel.

End the game fourteen times to get a bonus 300,000 Bounty Points.

When fighting the final Boss, keep shooting her until her HP drops
to one half. She will summon her clone when her HP drops to one
half. Kill her clone using your Laser Javelin. Each clone results
in 1,000 Bounty Points and 300 experience points. You only need
to kill ten clones because the eleventh clone is worthless.
