SaGa Frontier

Hint: Fast money:
Obtain 7500 credits and go to Nelson via Owmi. At Nelson, you can purchase gold ingots at 500 credits as opposed to 1000 credits at Koorong. Buy the minimum 15 gold ingots and travel back to Koorong. Take your gold to the Currency Exchange and sell enough so the gold's value drops to 520 credits. Return to Nelson and purchase as much gold as possible. You should end up with more gold than you had before. Return to Koorong and increase the number of ingots you are selling to include all of them. However, do not press Circle! Instead, decrease the number of ingots you are selling to zero. You should now notice that the price of gold has now risen. Sell off your gold ingots until the prices reaches 520 credits again, then purchase more gold Ingots from Nelson. Repeat this process several times to accumulate money. Note: You cannot acquire more than 50,000 in credits at one time using this trick. Trying to do so will result in losing all of your gold ingots and credits.

Hint: Stronger characters:
After you have completed a quest, save the game on to the system data you started it on, then start the same quest. Your character should start with extra weapons, extra abilities, and learn new abilities faster. For example, make a new Red quest, and he will start with a gun, and know Kick, Chop, and Quickdraw, and although primarily a swordsman, learned the DSC within two hours of game play.

Hint: Defeating Rouge (Blues Quest):
Learn the Realm magic spell Psychic Prison and Vermilion Sand. Then, learn Mega Windblast (Light magic). Defeat the Time Lord. You absolutely need the Overdrive spell for the next battle. If you visited the secret shop in Koorong, then now is the time to equip the Hyper Blasters. Equip Psychic Prison, Vermilion Sand, Mega Windblast, the Back Pack, Vitality Rune and the Hyper Blasters. Make sure you have a least 700 HP and very fast speed (about 60). Use Overdrive, then use Psychic Prison, Mega Windblast, Vermilion Sand, Mega Windblast, Hyper Blaster, and Hyper Blaster. The Hyper Blasters should kill Rouge twice. Now repeat and you have the key to victory.

Let Blue learn the Triple Thrust sword technique; no other very advanced magic or fast speed is needed. When he is fighting with Rouge, just use Triple Thrust with a valuable sword, such as the Zero sword.

Hint: Asura blade for other people:
The Asura is one of the most deadliest blades in the game if you use it correctly. You can receive the Asura (without Asselus) by "earning the right to find the Time Lord". When the lady lets you go to Chateau Aguille to pick up the Sand Vessel, pick up the Asura. It is possible to get it at this time. When you have it, give the Asura to one of your master swordsmen. If you choose to attack with Asura during battle and are hit, it will randomly use the Asura Counter-attack, which in many of the cases will kill an opponent with one hit.

Hint: Dream Super Combo:
The Dream Super Combo is one of the most deadliest attacks in the game. It is very easy to get, but is also very time consuming. Anyone that specializes in fighting (such as any human) can learn this. Liza can get it the fastest. One person must learn these moves: Sliding, Suplex, Babel Crumble, and Giant Swing. Put them all on one character at the same time. When you get into a fight, you will see that your character has DSC under his/her attack list. This will never show up on your ability list, but you will still have it as long as all four attacks are equipped to the character. This attack can cause up to 20,000 points of damage, but costs 18 WP each time.

Use Punch until you get Sliding, Kick, and Air Throw. Then, use Kick until you get Bable Crumble. Then, switch to Air Throw for Suplex and Giant Swing. This is very time consuming and at times frustrating; it requires patience.

Hint: Midare Setgetsuka Combo:
Learn the Katana techniques Blizzard, Moonlight Cut, and Tres Flores with three different people. In battle, have the three characters use each technique and it should turn into a Level 3 Combination. It mimics the classic Midare Setgetsuka move from the Romancing SaGa.

Hint: Play as Rouge:
Do Blue's mission. When you are at the final battle with your twin Brother Rouge, allow him to kill you. After this, you will walking around as Rouge instead of Blue.

Hint: Using Overdrive:
When using Overdrive, use Shadow Servant on the first turn. This will enable you to double the damage and gain of whatever you are doing for the next seven free turns.

Hint: Multiple Ultimate Overdrive Spell with Blue:
To defeat any monster with a high level Blue after doubling JP when defeating Rogue, you must equip these magics:

Time Magic: Overdrive
Shadow: Shadow servant
Arcana: Tower
Rune: Stasis Rune

Note: Mystic: Grail have Grail on another character. Use remaining support magic on revivify or any strength or life boosting spells. The use of the Stasis Rune will put Blue in overdrive stasis, which multiplis his next turns by the number done in overdrive (more than seven turns). To unlock the power of stasis you must use Grail on Blue while he is in stasis. Subsequently the Boss is yet in stasis. The Boss will lose stasis after a number of turns. This spell may take a long time to wear off but Blue's turns will not be stopped consecutively and will lose only 5 JP per over drive turn after using any infinite JP spell. Do the spells in the order they were listed. Always do Stasis Rune last on Blue's turn. This will make a chain of high number attacks. Use Stasis Rune and use the turns while the Boss is inert to support your people. Do not waste JP. You cannot harm the Boss while he is in stasis. Wait until he is unfrozen then use Overdrive again. Repeat until it is defeated. Ending stasis will subsequently end the status effect of multiple overdrive turns.

Glitch: Unlimited items in junk store:
Go to the junk store in Scrap and agree to pay the 300 credits to search for three items. After doing this, talk to the owners again and pick "Selling". Then, go to the bottom selection (Hyperion Bazooka) and press Circle(2). Then, select "Cancel" and go into the room with the junk. You will be able to get seven items instead of three. After picking seven items, talk to the owners again, choose "Selling", highlight circle on the Hyperion Bazooka and press Circle(2). You can repeat this as many times as desired, and is a good way to get cheap armor early in the game.

Note: When using this glitch, you can get better items. Sell all the Repair Kits that you get from the piles to refine the quality of the items you receive from the junk piles. If you are playing as the robot you will not find any repair kits in the junk piles. Do this trick to buy Repair Kits from another vendor. If you want lots of money, look in the top left corner for knives and swords. The best swords you can get are Osc-Swords, which can be sold for 110 gold each at the upper floor of Nakajima Robotics in Shrike.
