So, of all Spider-Man's costumes, he actually has nine, and the
Scarlet Spider has two. Below is the list of costumes the six

Hint: Burglary Interrupted level: Burn
the basketball net:
You will find a basketball court in a location where
four thugs ambush you, and a ball in top of one of the buildings
that surround that area. Press Punch to pick it up, then
go down and throw it inside the basket for an item that restores
health. Throw it three times to see the basket explode and the
net burn.
Information in this section was contributed by Acid_Fox.
Hint: Burglary Interrupted level: Spider-ball:
Go to the basketball court in the middle of the city.
Knock out the four enemies who attack you. When you are done,
get in front of the goal, then turn around (tap Down).
Next, web-swing to the red building directly in front and to the
right of you. On the roof, you will find a basketball (shaped
like a orange rock). Pick it up and throw it onto the court below.
Then, go down and play some basketball. Make a free throw and
you will get an extra health while Spidey says, "Nothin'
but net!"
Information in this section was contributed by Joe Lucid.
Hint: Burglary Interrupted level: Fish:
Go to the coffeehouse. After it explodes, knockout
the enemies. Then, go over to the river and crawl on top of the
barrier. Do not go over the barrier or you will drown. There are
two buoys floating on the river. Get in front of the buoy closest
to the coffeehouse. Look closely and you will see a small shining
dot floating next to it. Press L1 to target the dot then
web-yank it. If done correctly, a fish will fly out of the river
while the words "FISH CAM" flash across the screen.
Information in this section was contributed by Joe Lucid.
Hint: Mission: Spidey level: Time saver:
When you start this level it will appear that in order
to get to the switch that turns off the first force field, you
will have to go up a series of platforms while trying to keep
from being shocked. Not only is this very difficult, it is a total
waste of time. Instead, face the first door and press L1
to look up. The switch is just above your head. Just web-swing
to it and you will save a lot of effort and time.
Information in this section was contributed by Joe Lucid.
Hint: Rooftops By Night level (What if?
mode): Banana ride:
You can swing forward a few buildings from the start
and hop on the giant banana. Spidey will make a few comments as
the banana you are riding takes off. It will allow you to ride
long enough to bypass the first half of the level without having
to destroy the first gun. The banana will stop when you reach
the next set of guns.

Hint: Spidey In The Machine level: Paddle
Duel mini-game:
Successfully complete the game under any difficulty
setting or enable the "Master code" cheat. Enter the
"Special" menu and select the "Spidey In The Machine"
level. Locate the first laser grid and crawl through it by using
your web swing -- target the walls and press R2). Disable
the fans, then exit back out the entrance. Get to the main room,
then turn right. You will see the screen that actually the control
for the laser grid. Walk into it and jump to start the "Paddle
Duel" mini-game. You will be the "paddle" at the
bottom. The game cannot be played again after you win.
Hint: Wind Tunnel level: Stopping the plane:
The level starts in front of a stack of crates. Jump
forward and, while in the air, shoot an impact web at the first
barrel. Continue this for all the barrels (jumping and shooting).
This will help you get in front of the plane. At the end of the
level, go all the way to the last door. As soon as the plane is
in range, web up the propeller on the left (when you are facing
the plane). Then, web up the other one. If done correctly, the
plane will not even hit the wall, or you.

Hint: Defeating Hammerhead:
When Hammerhead is almost knocked out, press Triangle
+ Up and you will take his gun away. Then, start hitting
him and he will pass out without his gun.
Information in this section was contributed by c. armijo.
Hint: Defeating Hyper Electro:
Electro packs a punch with his lightning, but you cannot
harm him since he is invincible with the jewel device. Look around
you when near the tower where you first started. There are four
small boxes in each corner. Disable them by using Impact Webbing.
This prevents Electro frp, healing himself to full health. Do
this first. If you get struck by lightning, get some health. Watch
your health gauge; medical and webbing regenerates. Do not worry
about web fluid or running out of life. In the far corner are
four electric generators. Disable the capacitors next to them.
Once all four are disabled, you can get ready to battle Electro.
Get his lightning to shoot at the generator. He will become stuck
to it, making him vulnerable for the time being. Fire impact webbing
to make his health gauge drop. He will eventually heal himself,
but not entirely. Keep repeating this process to defeat him.
Information in this section was contributed by LANSDOWNE49.
Hint: Defeating The Lizard:
On any level (except Kid Mode) you must defeat The
Lizard by finding the serum that makes him vulnerable. However,
if you cannot find the serum you can just keep hitting or kicking
The Lizard and he will eventually turn into Dr. Conners. You will
then complete the level. Note: This requires a lot of hits and
time; keep hitting him until you succeed.
Information in this section was contributed by Derek Long.
Hint: Invisibility:
Complete the stealth challenge in training mode, then
go to specials and select "Create-A-Spider". On any
power, select "Stealth". When you start a level, press
Select and you will become invisible. When you hit a thug,
he will not see you. Note: This does not work against Bosses.
Information in this section was contributed by c. armijo.
Glitch: Impossible attack:
Start swinging and press Triangle + Up
to do an Impact Webbing, while still swinging. Spidey will do
the attack with no hands, even though on the ground he needs both.
Information in this section was contributed by DinoS2.
While you are near an enemy (not a Boss), press Triangle
+ Square. You can now press Square and go on his
head. Press Triangle and punch him three times and he will
be knocked out. Or, you can press Circle then press it
again to kick him with both feet.
Information in this section was contributed by c. armijo.
Glitch: Following Web Dome:
When in the construction level where you face The Sandman,
there is a tall building. Crawl all the way to the top. Sandman
will attack the building and this may require a few attempts.
The trick will not work if he destroys the building. There should
be a Comic Book on the top. While on top, use a Web Dome (Triangle
+ Right). Sandman will hit the structure, and while you
are in the dome, you will fall. When you get up and walk around,
the Web Dome will follow you (swinging, jumping, running, etc.)
and you still will be inside. Note: You will receive damage if
you get hit, and the dome might break.
Information in this section was contributed by spiderman120587.
Glitch: No Web Dome:
When fighting Electro for the first time, go to the
top level. When he uses his electricity to hit you with the UFO
ship, make a Web Dome (Left +Triangle). The UFO
ship will hit your Web Dome, but break. However, you will still
be in the position of the Web Dome.
