Lara's run, jump, and grab move with a Spyro twist. On a ledge,
you can charge, jump, and glide and almost never have to hover.
When you charge off the cliff and jump off the very edge, you
get a little boost into the air, thus allowing you to glide farther
without hovering.

Hint: Bugbot Factory: When you get to the area near the end where there is
a group of Bugbots and two of the green fireball shooting Bugbots
coming in diagonally, go back to the big room where the force
field circle used to be. Go back where there is a green room with
a health butterfly and an invincibility power-up butterfly. Get
the power-up butterfly and charge (Square) back to that
area with the two green Bugbots. Go to the right side and run
over any Bugbot you see, including the green ones. Clear out an
entire side of the room, then shoot the remaining ones on the
other side. If you already used the power-up butterfly before
you got to this part, let the Bugbots eat you, and then you will
start at the entrance of this area; go back and a new one will
be there.

want to retry, insert a second controller. Choose to retry and
it will be two player match. When it is two player you can leave
the second Yeti (not Bently) and attack him to win the eggs and

Hint: Frozen Altars: Getting to the top
of the Temple: Go up the windy path and onto the ledge. Fly over to
where the second laser is located, but do not go in. Turn right
and you will see a Rhynoc shooting at you. Flame this Rhynoc,
but do not charge him. Instead, jump on top of the ice then jump
on the edge of the temple. From here you can get to the top of
the Temple, collect all the gems, then fly to the top of the other
Temple and onto the island with the egg. Do not worry if you accidentally
charge and kill this Rhynoc; you will just need to exit the level
and reenter and he will appear again.

Hint: Frozen Altars : Box the Yeti: When the round begins, hit him once or twice, then
back away and circle around the arena until the match is over.
While continuously circling around, do not let the Yeti hit you.
The object is to have health at the end, and not to get a lot
of hits on the Yeti. Also if you have trouble staying on the outside,
try your best not to let the yeti get the last hit. Hit him more
than he does to you. Do this for all of the rounds and you will

Hunter is standing. When you go past him, you will notice the
lap counter will have moved up one lap. This is an easy way to

5000 or 6000 gems, he will say "Boy, I didn't know dragons
were so fast!" and give you the egg.

then glide onto the top of the small waterfall and into the creek.

Hint: Dragon egg from Moneybags: When you see Moneybags on the bridge, talk to him.
He will say that he found and egg and will sell it, but not to
you. When he runs away, charge him around the circle he is running.
When you are close to him, either keep running and run into him
or flame him and charge again. Either way will make him lose some
of his gems which you can get. Keep doing this and eventually
he will stop and say "I didn't know dragons were that fast".
He will give you the egg when he is finished talking.

Hint: Thief area on Icy Peak: The thieves in Icy Peak can be defeated quickly without
much chasing as follows. When entering the thief area, there are
two ramps ahead. The first thief will be poised on the end of
the right ramp. Superspeed to the left ramp and go about halfway
up the ramp. Stop, and jump over the edge. Glide down to the lower
end of the ramp, away from the thief. Move at normal speed in
the center of the ramp toward the thief. The moment the thief
squeals and bolts, shoot flame. The thief will run directly into
the flame. The second thief starts on the left ramp. Pursue him
(it is not necessary to chase him at speed) until he returns to
the starting point. If the thief jumps to the left ramp, repeat
the chase around the circuit until he jumps to the right ramp.
At that point, repeat the steps above to defeat the second thief.

Hint: Sparx worlds: Try to enter and complete the Sparx worlds in each
new land (four in total) as soon as possible. As you complete
them, you gain new skills that are very handy when completing
the rest of the game in general. For example, upon completing
one Sparx world, you may gain the ability to find treasure in
any level buy pressing L1 + L2 + R1 + R2.
Sparx then points in the direction of any remaining treasure on
that level, allowing you to finish the game faster (and eventually
open the bonus world).

Take Hunter's lessons where he tells you to do a single turn to
the right. When you are done doing his lessons and he challenges

ramp. Go off that ramp and go on the platforms. Jump onto each
one. When you are at the last one, turn to the right. You will
get 1,000 points for it.

Toasty Twist: When in Enchanted Towers, go to where Hunter is
located after you have blown up the Sorceress's statue. Go on
the monster ramp. Get to the blue part, then wait until you get
slightly past the ramp. Then, hold Triangle + Down/Right
until the "Toasty Twist" message appears. This move
can be difficult. You must do about four side-flips. This move
offers about 1000 to 2000 points.

Orange Crush and Big Gulp: Go to the largest ramp, press X,
do four or five spins on either side. You should get 2,000 points
for the jump. It can be done twice, left and right combined, for
a total of 4,000 points.

When you start at the pillars, make a sharp turn to the first
orange ramp, do a back flip (50 points), and go to the next ramp.
Press X to get air, and land on the beginning of the mega
ramp. Make an impossible turn to your left and go through the
cave to the half-pipe. Get to the end of the cave, jump, press
X a couple of times, and land (1,000 points). Go to the
blue ramp beside the circle one, go up it (do not press X),
make a turn right, and go to the orange ramp. Press X two
times, jump to the first, jump to the second, and jump to the
third. You will be rewarded when you reach the last island (1,000
points). Go the way you did at the start of the game, but this
time, go up the ramp, then down the hill. When you get to the
blue base, press X and spin left four to five times (2,000
points). Go up the ramp, go down again, and spin right four to
five times (2,000 points). Then, go up the ramp yet again, and
go down a final time. This time(do not press X), fly off
the end, then press X. Hold Down/Left + X
until you approach the ground (4,900 points). You will do a series
of twisted limes or lemons. You should have over 10,000 points
at this time. You will have time remaining which can be used for
more tricks.

of the Sorceress, go down it. Go into the portal and defeat Hunter.
You can now go for the course record. Go to the mega ramp. Press

Combo and Up/Right for another Twisted Lemon Combo. Keep
repeating this to get the course record.

Raging Ripto: Go off the monster jump and do a front flip so that
Spyro is facing down. Do three or four side rolls before hitting
the ground. You should get 3,000 points for this trick.

Raging Ripto: Do a backwards loop and when you are upside down,
do to loops to the side. This sounds difficult, but the only buttons
you press are Triangle (hold it the entire trick), Down
(until you are in an upside down position in the air), and Left
or Right (until you get close enough to the ground, then
release everything to get back to your normal position). "Raging
Ripto" may not appear at the bottom of the screen. If this
happens, hold Up/Left until that message appears.

Gnasty Gnork: Do two front flips and one side flip (holding down
Triangle to do the flips). It is similar to the Raging
Ripto. If it does not work, do as many flips as possible.

and then swim up. Keep on swimming, and when you get to the top
you should be swimming through air. Note: This may glitch your
saved game if you choose to save after doing this trick.

when you get in the water. When you try to get out of the water,

Find the waterfall and go to the edge away from where you entered
near the cliff. Get against it. Press Square and you will
swim in the air. Swim to the top of the water fall and you will
see a crack. There is a location that you cannot see water flowing.
Look down and press Square and you will break through.
You can now swim anywhere in the stadium. If you do not have Bentley
yet, swim behind that location and you will enter his place.

Glitch: Charmed Ridge: Jack falls off cliff:
In the Jack portal in Charmed Ridge, you can make Jack
fall off the cliff. At the last jump that takes you to the goose,
quickly jump, fly, and hover over the wooden area then press Triangle
again to headbash the wood. Wait for Jack to reach the goose.
He will instead fall through the hole. If you have vibration on,
you will feel Spyro land, but when the camera turns you will see
Spyro fall with Jack. You will lose a life and have to redo the
last puzzle.

Glitch: Stop pet wolf from running: When you are trying to get Farley to his owner, put
the ball in your mouth and spit it out so that the dog will run
to it. Then when he starts to go, go on the side that he is running
from. You will stop him but will still try to run. Note: This
