Hint: Lower payroll: Transfer all scientists and engineers to another base
just before the end of the month. If they are in transit at the
end of the month, they will not be paid.
Hint: Quick money: Investigate a crash site, then research "Alien
Alloys". Manufacture a large amount at $3,000, and sell it
for $6,400. Sell all alien bodies except for one. Research the
body, then sell it to receive $20,000.
Hint: Save men: Note: This trick requires a memory card. Save the game
after starting a mission. Play through your turn without losing
any men, then save the game after the alien's turn. Continue game
play until one of your men dies. At that point, abort the mission
and load the saved game. Use a different strategy from your last
attempt to complete the mission.
