Hint: Restore health:
Save the game at any save point to receive full health.

Hint: Easy money:
Go to the shop and get a Magical Ticket and a Memorial Ticket along with any kind of jewel. Go into the castle and use the "Duplicating items" trick to make extra copies of all three objects. Go across the hall to the save point and save the game. Then, use the Magic Ticket to go back to the shop . Sell all but one stone, then use your Memorial Ticket to go back to the castle. Repeat the "Duplicating items" trick on the crystal again as many times as desired.

Hint: Finding secret items:
If you see a different colored brick on the ground, try standing on it. You may find secret items.

Hint: Anti-Poison Ring:
To get the Anti-Poison Ring, fight any Poison Lizard and with luck you might get it. This ring nullifies 75% of the chance of getting poisoned. The best place to find these lizards is in the Garden Forgotten By Time.

Hint: Arctic Ring:
In the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab, when reaching the third floor move to the door. You will see a long corridor. Move up to the top end of the corridor. You will see a large gloomy tapestry. Jump into it. You will find yourself in the room where you get the Arctic Ring. Note: This is also revealed in game by Ancient Text 4.

Hint: Black Orb:
After you defeat The Forgotten One in the Prison Of Eternal Torture. you will receive the Black Orb.

Hint: Blackbishop:
In the Anti-Soul Mystery Labs, to get the Yellow Dragon Key stand a green tile in one of the large rooms with Gemini (the Siamese twins) on the floor. The Yellow Dragon Key is used on House of Sacred Remains to get the Blackbishop relic.

Hint: Bloodcape:
Go to the basement of the House Of Sacred Remains, at the upper left room of the map. Set the statue's faces to Women, Goat, Goat, Women, Goat. The Bloodcape converts damage into hearts.

Hint: Brisingamen:
In second floor of the Ghostly Theater, the Brisingamen can be found in the room that is almost completely dark. This accessory increases your relic time usage. As you enter the room, jump onto the first platform. Then, straight ahead and barely seen is another platform. Jump to that one. Next, straight ahead is yet again is another unseen platform. Jump forward to reach it. When you get onto that platform, jump all the way to your right. Inside the room is the accessory.

Hint: Crystal Skull:
Equip three Raccoon Charms (duplicate the Raccoon Charm). Fight the Phantom Skeletons and with luck, one will drops the Crystal Skull (relic).

Crystal Skull is a rare drop from Phantoms. The easiest place to find it is in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon first floor. They are the skeletons that are almost invisible except for the clouding around them. To make it easier, you can get Coin Of Happiness, which increases Luck by 5 points from Hanged Men. The easiest place to find them is in the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab on the third floor, in the room with the crumbling bridge.

The Crystal Skull relic is a rare item drop from the Phantom Skeleton which are found in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon level. It helps to have the Raccoon Charm equipped (which increases luck). They are found in the Dark Palace Of Waterfalls on top of one of the rooms with the swinging pendulums. You will see a heart increase. You have to jump to the other side of the room to get the Raccoon Charm.

Hint: Draupnir:
Go to the Dark Place Of Waterfalls level and use the Black Turtle Key to obtain this item. It improves your attack power.

Hint: Ice Whip:
Go to the Waterfall level. Go to the tunnel where there is a door shape on a big rock (b1 where there is an axe sub-weapon, on the right corner on the map.) Walk back to where you will see an armored opponent with a chainball. Make him follow you towards the wall. Stand in front of the wall. Let him hit you. When he hits you, he should break the wall. Go in, then move up. From the first door, run towards your screen, then jump onto a pillar (jump from the middle). From the pillar, make your way up and to the Ice Element. Defeat her and get the Ice Whip.

Hint: Fire Ring:
In the Garden Forgotten By TIme, once you activate all of the red orbs in the blue door (the orbs are stacked on top of one another), they will turn green. This door is located in the room straight down from the start of the level. Once there, you will obtain the fire ring.

Hint: Fire Whip:
First, go to the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab second floor and find the room with the moving platform. Follow it until you get to the second platform on the right. After jumping over the platform, look for two yellow poles. Hook over the two poles. On the upper side, you can find the monster named Flame Element. Defeat him and he will give you the Fire Whip.

Hint: Invincible Jar:
Defeat the Mirage Skeleton. It is a rare drop, so keep trying. The foe is located in the first floor of the castle before you meet the final Boss.

Successfully complete the game with Leon. The Jade Mask will appear in Rinaldo's shop for 999 gold.

Hint: Jewel Crush:
In the first man-eater room in the Garden Forgotten By Time, get him over to the left of the screen. Open him up, then jump up onto a balcony which leads into a room giving you the Jewel Crush, as well as opening a lock on the Red Key Door.

In each level, there are keys to unlock hidden doors. The keys are located in the following levels:

Hint: Unknown area for the doors:
Turn the statues in room to make the order from left to right as follows.

Door 1: Animal, Person, Animal, Person, Person
Door 2: Person, Animal, Animal, Person, Animal

This will unlock the doors in that room so that you can get behind them.

Hint: Little Hammer:
Equip the Fire Whip and go to the Waterfall level. In the basement level 2 in the upper left corner of the map, there is a door blocked in ice. Hit it with the whip to get the hammer. The hammer gives you more money for every hit of the whip.

Hint: Lucifer's Sword Relic:
In the second floor of the Ghostly Theater, in the second with the dropping spikes, above is a pole to whip yourself up onto a ledge. On there is an MP-Up and above that is a doorway which leads to Lucifer's Sword. When used, it sets Leon on fire, damaging any enemy that touches him.

Hint: Meditative Incense Relic:
This relic is found in The Dark Palace of Waterfalls. Get all the coins in the first of the two platform roller coasters. This is the one that starts nearby the Ice Elemental Chamber. Start on the right side and every time you get a string of coins, move to the other side quickly. After eight groups of coins move to the center of the tunnel and it will be there. You must get every coin for it to appear. Do the other platform roller coaster to get another item. It will either be a Heart, MP or HP Max UP Container.

Hint: Member Plate:
Defeat the Spartacus Skeletons. They drop a Member Plate. This item will give you 10% off items in the store.
Satan Cow.

Spartacus Skeletons are larger and have the bigger swords and shields. An easy place to fight them is in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon, on the second floor, in the right most wing in the tower area.

Hint: Megingjord:
In the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab, when you go to the third floor take a left and follow this path to a room with a stone walkway that falls apart as you walk on it. Note: You must have the Wolf's Foot relic, which is found inside the Red Phoenix locked room in the same level. Equip the Wolf's Foot so that you can run fast enough across the walkway. Once across, you will go into a room and you will receive the Megingjord, which is an accessory that enables you to have a greater damage inflicted on your enemy's with the less HP Leon has.

Hint: Mobius' Brooch:
Successfully complete the game in crazy mode. Mobius' Brooch will appear in Rinaldo's item list for 200,000 gold.

Hint: Piko-Piko Hammer:
Defeat the Cyclops to get the Piko-Piko Hammer. Equip it as an accessory and your whip will make interesting sounds when attacking enemies.

Hint: Piyo-Piyo Shoes:
Defeat the Death Reaper to get the Piyo-Piyo Shoes. Equip it and Leon will walk around with squeaking sounds.

Hint: Thunder Whip:
Go to the Garden Forgotten By Time, then go to the room with the second Man-Eater (room with the Man-Eater and Peeping Eyes). Kill the Peeping Eyes and move the Man-Eater to the top right corner. Hit the Man-Eater plant until it opens, then jump on it and double jump onto the ledge. Keep going until you reach the second floor and kill the Thunder Elemental to obtain the Thunder Whip.

In the Garden Forgotten By Time,. go to the second Man-Eate. Get him to go to the top right corner of the room. There is a balcony in that corner. You need to open him up and get on that balcony which leads to a door. After fighting a few monsters and going through a few doors in that area you will see a green Boss door. Inside you will fight the Thunder Elemental. Defeating him to receive the whip.

Hint: Tool Bag:
In the Garden Forgotten By Time, go to the southern-most room and use the Blue Dragon Key to get the Tool Bag. It enables you to equip an extra accessory.

Hint: White Orb:
Go to the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab. From the start, go to the door that is behind you when you first get into the stage. Then, go through the rooms until you find the room at the right side of the map. There is a room with a big rock figure in front of it. Use the Fire Wipe on it until it is red, then change to the Ice to crack it. The door can now be opened. The Ice Orb is inside.

Hint: Finding the Frost Elemental:
In the Palace Of Dark Waterfalls on the first floor, take a left at the first "Y", and a left at the second. You will see an outline of a door. Walk up to it and an Armor Knight will appear behind you. Lure the knight towards the outline. When he does the move where he throws the ball at you, dodge it, and it will knock away the bricks in front of the door. After some double jumps and rail whips, you will reach the first door. Rail whip to the balcony on the left of the door, and blindly jump straight forward from the rightmost corner of that balcony. You should land on a small platform. If not, you will see it and know where it is located. After a couple more rail whips, you will reach the door to the Frost Elemental's room.

Hint: Fighting the Forgotten One:
Go to the second floor of the Pagoda. In the left tower is a dark room. Once inside the dark room, jump to the left. Look for platforms that go to the left. Note: You need Wolf's Foot. Once you find the path, you will get an Unlock jewel. This is the jewel that is needed to unlock the way to the Prison Of Eternal Torture.

Hint: Defeating Elementals:
Find the three elemental protection rings (Arctic Ring, Ring Of Fire and Ring Of Thunder). Duplicate each of them using the "Item duplication" trick. Equip two or more of the appropriate ring when fighting the corresponding elemental. Leon will receive no damage from the Elemental.

Hint: Get full items before Bosses:
Get a Memorial Ticket and a Magic Ticket. Save at the location before the Boss and use the Magic Ticket to go to Renaldo's shop. Then, go to the spot to duplicate items. Duplicate the items desired and use the Memorial Ticket to go back to the save location before the Boss. You can do this at any save, and is useful when low on items.

Duplicate the Raccoon Charm accessory and equip three of them to raise your Luck to 50.

Glitch: Duplicating items:
Go to the corridor outside the first save point in the castle entrance. Stand between the second and third candle, on the red stripe part of the carpet close to the window. Stand on the second shadow reflected by the moonlight while still on the stripe (looks like a black pole on the ground). Face the window and press Start and go to your items. Move the pointer up and down to duplicate.

In the Pagoda of the Misty Moon, as soon as you enter the second floor there is a red carpet with gold emblems at the top of the stairs. Go to the center of the second gold emblem. There should be a torch on the left of the screen next to it. Stand directly in the center facing the screen. Use the same method to duplicate items as described above. If this does not work at first, keep trying and make sure you are in the exact center.

Note: Do not duplicate the VI tablet, The area in the Pagoda where the IV tablet is used to unlock the door will always look for the VI tablet, then the IV, and you do not have a choice. Thus, it only asks for the wrong tablet if you have both in your inventory.
