Champions Of Norrath: Realms Of EverQuest

Free Gate Scroll:
Make sure you have at least twenty Gate Scrolls before trying this in a non-online game. Hold Square, then press Select to gate as if you used a Gate Scroll, without using a scroll.
wa, ai owthmcw ebd, tsmtoJames.

Level 20 character:
Hold L1 + R2 + Triangle + R3 to increase a low level character to level 20 with 999 attack points. Note: Your character must be at level 1 when the code is activated. Also, this only works in the North American version of the game.
thomas bryson and nathan franco.

Note: This code will make your character level 20, with 75,000 coins (your total will decrease to that amount if it is currently higher) and 999 points to spend on your abilities. However, your four main stats (Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Stamina) will not change and you will not get any points to spend on them. Also, the code works at any level below 20.
Joel Mitchell.

Note: When using this code, wait until your character is level 19 or else your character will have to earn as much experience points as a level 20 character to get your Stamina, Dexterity, Strength, and Mana points.
OxTeKniqUexO.

Note: This code will work on characters of any level. This is a great way to create an uber-buff character to help a friend who is just starting out their game. Also, any character can become an uber character with this, as you can attain level 50, then equip your level 50 armors before dropping yourself back down to level 20. Also try this before transferring your character over to Champions: Return To Arms so that you can have a great character on that game without too much effort.
Johnist Wizardly.

5,000 lb carrying capacity/dual-wielding Dark Elf:
At the character customization screen after you have entered your name and have the "Done" command highlighted, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 + Triangle then press X to proceed. While holding all the buttons, including X, skip the next intermission sequence by pressing Start. Once you are able to control your character, release the buttons and check your inventory. You should have a carrying capacity of 5,000 lbs and if you are playing as a Dark Elf, you will be able to dual-wield. Note: Although the dual-wielding feat is permanent, you will only have the 5000 lbs carrying capacity until you turn off the game.
Tyler Seavey.

Hint: High level character:
Use the following trick to get a character from level 1 to 19 instantly. Have an old save game from the Cloud Giant King (before you defeat him) at the Tower of Clouds. Start a new game as your desired character and save. Almost defeat the Cloud Giant King with your normal character then import your level 1 character to finish him off. Your level 1 character will instantly jump to level 19.
Alex Vaughn.

Hint: Duplicate items and easy money:
Start a game with two controllers. Press Start and select "Add/Remove Player". Select the slot for player two at the import screen then import the current character you are playing into the player two slot. Select "Finish" and player two will now be a duplicate of your original character, with the same armor, weapons, and items. Sell the duplicated inventory items for money, then repeat.

Save the game. Then, save the game again on another slot. Take the earlier save and give the item to be duplicated to another person. Then, save over the earlier slot. Next, load the later saved game. Import the character who you traded the item to on the later save.
patgreen9.

Save the game with the item to be duplicated, then start another game (two to four player game). Import your character. When prompted to to select another one, import your character again. Once in your game, the other player drop the item to be duplicated. Then, save the game again. Start a one player game. Select the character you saved and you will have those items.
Ray Sudduth.

Start a two player adventurous mode game, and have one memory card and a level 20 mage (which can be obtained through the "Level 20 character) code. Go to your spells and get everything up. Set ice weapons and cold weapon to your spell circle. For your second character, make him or her whatever you desire. Then, go to the store a short distance away and talk to the owner. Enter the shop. Have the mage buy as many weapons as possible (for example, the cheapest ones you can find with two augmentation slots). Exit, then augment all the weapons you bought. When done with a few, drop them for the other person to pick up and sell. Get as much money as desired, then save the game. If you have completed adventurous mode, start a game in courageous mode with one player only or import one of the other characters. Save your game, then import the person with all the money and buy desired items. When done shopping, the items bought to the person you saved your game with a few minutes ago. Do not save your game, but import the rich character again. That person will still have all the money they had.
karenseckinger.

Go to "Import And Export Character". Import a character and drop all of his or her items. Pick them up with your main character. Delete the second character, then import the same character form the same saved game file and repeat. Do this as many times as desired, then save the game after you are done. Note: The character you were importing will still have all his or her items on the saved game file.
Walter Loepp.

Hint: Improved character:
Note: This trick is slightly time consuming, but with patience you will be able to stomp and improve your character further than the others. First, get an object that enhances your character ability (for example, a Whet Stone, Storm Shard, Ghoul Flesh, or Mana Regeneration) then save the game. Next, drop the item you wish to add, Import the character you saved prior to dropping the items. Pick up the items, then save over the last saved game done before picking up the items. By doing this, you can take one item and the game multiplies it by 78.
Lance Love.

Work you character up to level 45 or 50 (recommended). Then, start a new game with that character. It would be a good idea to start in Champion mode. Make sure that you are wearing have the armor and weapons that you want. Then, enable the "Level 20 character" code. Your character will be back to level 20, but will have the stats as if he was level 50. Because you did not not take off your weapon or armor you can still have your level 50 equipment. Work though the game until you get back to level 50, then you will have the stats of a level 100 character. This requires a lot of time, but it is worth it.
bob macallan.

Start a new two player game. Have player one select his or her character race and skin. Then, place player one's 20 beginning stat points however desired. Name the character, then continue to player two. Have player two select the same race and skin as player one. When player two reaches his/her stat points, press Circle. Go back to player one. When you go back to player one's stat page, he or she will be given 20 more points to add to their stats. Add the 20 new stat points and continue to player two. Continue the sequence until player one has three of the four stats at 100, and the last at 95.
JedIanHC.

Start a two player game. As player one, do everything normally as this will be the strong character. When you get to the second character, go to the screen where you place the points. Go back until you get to the point screen for player one. There should be 20 more points to use on him or her. Repeat this until all but one of them (Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, etc.) are up to 100 points. One stat must be on 95 Note: This only works on two player mode and cannot be used on player two. He or she should be deleted when you are done.
waynefirns.

This trick can be done so that all four stats are at 100. Go through until all stats are at 100 and one is at 95. Then go to player two. Distribute 15 points on player two. Go back to player one, and you will only have 5 points to distribute. Bring that last stat up to 100 and begin the game as usual. Delete player two, and continue playing.
Jim Pentland.

Hint: Developing a strong Barbarian:
If you want to play a Barbarian character legitimately all the way to level 40 or 50, use the following to make a supertank out of him. By following this, at level 45 you will be able to kill the final Boss in two hits under the champion difficulty setting. Do not bother putting any attribute points into Intelligence; just put them into Strength and Stamina, with a little Dexterity mixed in. When you start out with your Barbarian, alternate your skill points between the Slashing (do not waste any points in the Blunt Weapons skill) and Bind Wound skills. Every time you gain a level, put at least one point into either of those two categories until both of them are at maximum. Early on when you are still getting two skill points per level, put some into Slam and Critical Hit to take care of the Bosses. Then, when you are getting three points a level, start putting the third one into Critical Hit as much as possible. At the point when you are finally high enough to use Ancestral Call, start putting points into that until it is also at maximum. The main skills you want to have 20 points in by the time your level 45 to 50 are Bind Wounds, Slashing, Critical Hit, Ancestral Call, and Slam. The other skills are your second priority, although by the time you are at level 50, you will have lots of extra skill points to spend into whatever desired. Start by saving the armor and weapon components that you find so that you can increase your attack speed and skills. Bull Runes, Bloodstones (use Bloodstones earlier in the game, but when you get into higher levels, trade them out for Regen Stones to put into your armor), Misty Globes, and Regen Stones are the ones you want to keep for the Barbarian. If done correctly, your character will have over 1,000 health and be doing over 800 damage on normal hits.
Tim Daniel.

Hint: Defeating Bosses:
When playing in single player mode, make a duplicate of yourself to distract the Boss. The boss will attack your copy and not your original character.
MrCrumpets.

Hint: Act 1: Defeating enemies easily:
Get the wood elves to block in the enemy then attack with bow or magic. This works well against two guards blocking the Goblin caves.
Dennis Johnston.

Hint: Act 1: Defeating the head Goblin:
When in in the goblin cave, to defeat the head goblin kill all goblins except for him. Run around him to get him to follow you. Then, go to the center part. Run away to the outer edge. If done correctly, he should get stuck. Shoot arrows at him until he is dead.
Dennis Johnston.

Hint: Act 1: Defeating the Giant Spider Boss:
Use the following strategy to defeat the Giant Spider as well as many other enemies who only have a straight "charge" style attack (for example, the Pig-Bears that the Goblins unleash just outside the Goblin cave). If you are able to stun them, such as with a poison, fire, or disease attack that causes them to lurch with the after-effects, then this becomes much easier. Walk alongside the creature, and hold the Analog-stick so that you are moving toward the back of the creature, but also slightly away. Swinging your weapon will turn you slightly to face your enemy; do not worry about being unable to hit. If you do this, and keep walking at an angle and swinging, even an Erudite can kill one of these creatures without getting hit. If you done correctly, the creature will keep attacking where you had been during your last swing and it will turn to keep up. Thus, it will turn in circles trying to catch you while you are casually walking in a circle taking its health out. This will require a few attempts, and if you get tag-teamed, you must alter your tactics and possibly run away to come around the other side. However, it is always possible to take on even three of these creatures at once without getting hit, since they have no area attacks.
Shadow Servant.

Hint: Act 2: Defeating the Queen Mammothant:
When in the ant hill, run past all Mammothants until you reach the portal opening. Leave, save the game, then go back and fight the ants that followed. Then fight the queen, but before you attack her kill all of her servants. They will get in the way. Throw poison potions at her and if you are playing a Shadow Knight, use a level 5 Disease Bolt. Slow her down and attack with a fire weapon She should die easily.
Dennis Johnston.

To kill the Queen Mammothant very easily, when you walk in the room where you fight her, do not move from the middle. Block her attacks when she does; she has an easy to follow pattern. When she goes away, the ants still will not appear and you will be able to shoot her with arrows. After you defeat her, kill the rest of the ants by slowly moving or they will all attack you at the same time.
Murisa James.

Get some arrows or exploding potions before you enter her lair (30 is a safe number). When you enter, avoid the queen and go to her egg sac on either side. Go up as far as you can.. Turn around and attack what comes at you. Arrows, spears, or potions for the queen and your other weapon for the small ones. You can defeat her easily this way, and take minimal damage.
CSSandCRS.

Hint: Act 5: Defeating Innuruk:
Be a cleric and have a fairly good Hammer Of Wrath. When fighting him, have him chase you around a broken seal while your hammer kills him. Just keep your mana high and keep summoning the hammer. He will die without you getting hurt.
Axmaster.

Hint: Defeating the Bow Goblin King Boss:
Before you start the battle, stand far back in front of him, just enough not to start the battle and fire arrows at him. This should lower his health before you begin and make him have arrows in stuck his face.
Storm M..

Hint: Defeating the final Boss:
Shadow Knights, both male and female, are recommended. Taking him on hand to hand is not recommended, as he can kill you with a single blow from his hammer or any projectile. When the sequence is finished and the final fight begins, run away from him and conjure the following: a skeleton at a level 15 or higher, then the Disease Trail. If he follows you he will stop and take damage from the cloud then fight the skeleton. Then, run across the stage and remember where he was located. Shoot arrows at him. It does not take too long to defeat him this way. Make sure you make your way over to him quickly when he dies, or else you will lose whatever items or money you are rewarded.
IIAries331.

Hint: Backup help from Skeleton:
Level up a Dark Elf male or female to level 26 or higher. Along the way, level up the Summon Skeleton spell so that you can summon a level 20 Skeleton or higher. When you start a new character and go the field, use a scroll to warp to town. Save the game so that you will not lose any experience or items that you have collected. Then, warp back to the field. Press Start, go "Add/Remove Player", and select your character Then, press Triangle to import a character. Select the Dark Elf. Summon a Skeleton, then import your character back. The skeleton will fight alongside that character, giving you backup.
RobFoleyLMS.

Hint: Faster experience:
First, find a Boss that gives a lot of experience points. Before fighting it, save the game. After you defeat the Boss, create another save file and save the game on that file. Load the first file that you saved, then import your character from the second saved game file. Fight the Boss again, then overwrite the second file. Repeat the process until the experience points from the Boss is not longer satisfactory. Remember to not overwrite your first save file.
velasquez lean.

Hint: Weapon upgrades:
Note: This does not apply to Storm Shards. Some weapon upgrades (for example, Beetle Eye, Bone Chip, etc. and any lesser versions of those) can take up two upgrade spaces for a weapon due to something called Fire Burst or Ice Burst, which give a small chance for additional damage to a weapon. If you have something like a Misty Globe, Bloodstone, Regen Stone, etc. you may want to put those on first to a weapon with two spaces so you can also put on a stone that adds damage.
Master Of Technical Gaming.

Hint: Champions talk:
Allow the game to idle for over one minute. Your character will say something like "Isn't there something more important to do?".
Bigg Mike.

Hint: Revealing costume:
Equip the Elven Patchwork Armor to a female character. Then, unequip the legging. This works best with the Elven Cleric.
Bigg Mike.

Hint: Resetting a shop easily:
Instead of running to the portal and warping twice to reset a shop, use the following trick to reset a shop without having to move, and only loading once each time. First, save the game. Each town has a save point near the shop, so it is not that far of a run. Once your game is saved, position yourself in front of the shopkeeper and see what he has for sale. If the shopkeeper is not selling something you desire, import your recently saved character over your current one and the game will load him/her into the game. Once your character has been imported, the shopkeeper's stock will have reset. You can either drop the items you buy until you are ready to move on, thus saving yourself money, or you can be honest and save after each purchase. If you import and the shopkeeper still does not carry what you want, just import over your character again repeatedly until he has the desired item. While it may seem like a lot of work to import repeatedly, it is still easier than running to the portal and warping twice.
Shadow Servant.

Glitch: Instantly go from level 1 to level 20:
Once you get to the Cloud Giant King in the Tower of Clouds, attack him as usual, but stop just when he has a sliver of life remaining. Once you have his life down to whatever you consider almost dead, run back to the save point that you found just before you got to the Cloud Giant King. It is very important that you make sure he does not follow you back up the path, because the game engine does not let you save if it thinks that you are still fighting anything.. Once you get back to the save point, use a Gate scroll. Go to the shopkeeper and buy about 20 or 30 Exploding potions and Gate scroll back. Once you are back, drop the potions on the ground. Then, save your game, but make sure you save it as a new file so that it does not affect your current character's save file -- do not ever save over this file. Next, create the character you want to get to level 20. It is very important that you start from the character creation screen and do not use a character you have already played. This glitch will only work with a level 1 (0 experience point) character. Once you have your new character made, as soon as you gain control of your avatar go directly to the save point and make sure not to kill any Orcs. Save your new level 1 character over any save file except for the file that is your Tower Of Clouds save. After you have successfully saved your new character, re-load the Tower Of Clouds save file. Once back in that game, load in your new level 1 charter into the Tower Of Clouds save file, replacing your higher level character. With your level 1 character, go around and pick up all (or as many as you can) of the Explosion potions that you previously dropped and run down towards the Cloud Giant King. Kill the Cloud Giant King with the potions and you will instantly become level 20, with plenty of skill points to distribute.
Amber Blue.

Glitch: Instantly go from level 1 to level 42:
Note: You must already be able to play at Champion level. Take your Champion level character and fight your way through Kelethin, then through the alleyway of Lesser Faydark leaving nothing but the Goblin Boss guarding the dungeon beyond the two trees. Make sure to kill the two Dire Badgers as well. Save the game. Then, start an Adventurous level game with a new character that you wish to jump 41 levels. Do not kill anything with this new character. Bring him or her to the shop, then import the Champion and give your new character the best first level items available, and have them sell everything for gold. Make sure to import a character with Stones that can give weapons extra damage, and if you buy a bow get one with as many open holes as possible. Provide the new character with plenty of projectiles. If it is a class that cannot use a bow, then give him or her lots of mana. Export the Champion, then save the game in another slot. Load the Champion level game, then import the new character replacing the Champion. Remember to illuminate all foes with the exception of the Goblin Boss, who guards the dungeon beyond the two trees. Approach him with caution. As you do you will see a small semi-enclosed space off to the right. There is a fire burning and a way in on ether side of it. Get the Boss' attention, then immediately flee to that same enclosed area. You can fit, but he cannot. From there, shoot at him until he has been killed. Your character will go from level 1 to 42, without suffering any loss to currency, and will have all the points he or she would have received if the game was played through normally. Note: If you run out of arrows or mana, gate back and pick up some more. The Goblin Boss will be in the same place and same condition.
Trabby.

Glitch: Ghost drive a Lava Rider in the lava fields in Act 3:
Have a Barbarian that can use the spell Cyclone and the Lava Rider. Face the Lava Rider and cast Cyclone, While in Cyclone and when you see the "Get In Vehicle" symbol appear, press Triangle and you will get the view of the Lava Rider as if you are in it. However, you will not be inside. You will most likely be in front of the vehicle. You can now control the vehicle with the usual controls and also your Barbarian. Also, the Barbarian is invincible even in the lava. To get back to your character press Triangle. However you may want to make sure that your character is on land and the Lava Rider is on the same island. If you are stuck you must reload or die.
Colton Millington.
