Easier Chocobo handling:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and your Chocobo will be easier to steer.

Hidden ending:
After defeating Yu Yevon and the FMV sequence begins, allow all the credits to complete. You will see spirits start to gather, like the orbs before Jecht and it will show Tidus swimming to the top of the lake Yuna was looking towards at the end.

Biggs and Wedge reference:
In Luca, after your first Blitzball game (the rather unfair one), there are two guards standing on either side of the stairs that lead to the stands. If you scout these two, you will learn that their names are Biggs and Wedge, characters from Final Fantasy 7.

Biggs and Wedge were also in Final Fantasy 6, and were the two characters (referred as Vicks and Wedge in the game) who Terra fights with in Magitek armor when she goes to Narshe at the start of the game.

Lulu has Mogs with Cait Sith in the name. Cait Sith was an ally in Final Fantasy 7, and an enemy in Final Fantasy 4.

Many of the Aeons are also summons in Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8. Tonberry is also an enemy encountered in numerous other Final Fantasy games.

The Magus Sisters are a reference to the Magus Sisters in Final Fantasy 2 (Final Fantasy 4 in Final Fantasy Chronicles), which were one of the Bosses in that game.

Instant Al-Bhed:
Note: This can only be done at the beginning of the game. When you wake up after Sin destroys Zanarkand go to the floating platform at the right. There, at the platform, you should see four columns. Go to the one of the far right. There should be some Al Bhed writing on it. After reading the Al Bhed, go the the left and keep swimming until you reach another platform. On that platform is an Al Bhed translator. Save on the translator. Then, go back to the platform that you were on earlier and read the Al Bhed writing again. You should be able to read it now.
