Secret message:
Execute a 999,999 hit combo. To do this, try Kratos'
Cyclone Of Chaos combo attacks with the Athena's Blades (hold
L1 then press Square). Once you get a 999,999 hit
combo, the URL http://www.islandofrhodes.org
will appear.

Hint: Blade of Olympus:
Successfully complete game under the Titan difficulty
setting.
Hint: Gift of Experience:
After getting through Medusa's Temple, you will be
where the eyes things are located. Turn around and go to the bog
where you met the Barbarian King. Walk a short distance farther
and you will see two chests. Open the one to the left to get the
Gift of Experience.
GodOfHell.
Hint: Gift of Health:
When you get to the area where the second Translator
jumps off the ledge to avoid reading the book, place the fate
statue by the gate at the end of the hall. Go through the mirror
that rewinds time, freeze time, then roll back to where the statue
was originally. Open the chest that is now there to get the Gift
of Health.
Chance Mulloy.
Hint: Gift of Magic:
Get almost to the area where you have to burn the Phoenix
Feathers (the part where you are climbing on the rope over the
lava and enemies shoot the rope down and you must climb on the
wall and then ceiling to get to the next place). As soon as you
turn the corner where you have to jump over the lava and fly,
take out the bow instead and shoot the wall below a few times.
It will open, revealing the Gift of Magic.
Chance Mulloy.
Hint: Urn of Gaia:
This urn is found in the Isle of Rhodes (the first
level). Take the stone block that you push with the golden bird
on top, which you need to first break to get some Red Orbs. Push
it between Kratos and the gate. While Kratos is on the button
to open the gate, kick the block to the other side and then quickly
roll under the gate. Then, push the block to the right. You will
see three chests on a ledge in the background. Push the block
to that area and double jump, then lift yourself up. This urn
allows you to gain ten times the number of orbs than normal.

and Grim Reaper.
Hint: Urn of the Gorgons:
After you get the Golden Fleece, backtrack to the conveyor
belt with the Gorgon eye things that turn you to stone, then reflect
the beam back at them. There will be three chests, one of which
holds the urn. This urn enables your weapons to turn enemies to
stone.

and Grim Reaper.
Hint: Urn of Olympus:
Near the area where you get the Spear of Destiny, take
the time slowing statue and push it near the water's edge from
where you first came. Try to make it so you can start the time
slowing from the other side of the pool. Then, press R1
across the other pool and roll into the room where the urn is
located. This urn gives you unlimited magic.
noel derrick
and Grim Reaper.
Hint: Urn of Prometheus:
This urn is found in Atlas. When hanging from his underarm,
you have to break two stalactites to continue, but there is also
another one you can break. Break it and then follow the hole up
to find a red chest and the urn. This urn gives you unlimited
Rage Of The Titans.
noel derrick
and Grim Reaper.
In the underworld area where the Titan, Atlas, is located are
multiple climbing areas. Near the climbing area where you get
close to reaching his hand, there is a group of breakable stalactites
on the ceiling of the climbable parts. One of the first ones you
break will have a secret area. Inside is an experience chest and
the Urn of Prometheus, which gives you unlimited Titan's Rage
in Bonus Play.
Blake Stair.
Hint: Urn of Fates:
Successfully complete Challenge Of The Titans mode
with a "Mortal" or better rank. This urn extends your
allotted combo meter time so you can perform higher combos.
noel derrick
and Grim Reaper.
Hint: Urn of Poseidon:
Successfully complete Challenge Of The Titans mode
with a "Spartan" or better rank. This Urn allows you
to exchange Crono's Rage with Poseidon's Rage.
noel derrick
and Grim Reaper.
Hint: Hidden mini-game:
There is a mini game in the first level, when you fight
Colossus. When he hits you into the house do not go under the
water yet. Get out and run around to the right side. There are
two covers. The first has some orbs and the second has two half-naked
women in a pool. You do not have to press any buttons beyond what
the mini-game instructs you to do to see what the water fountain
does; just simply play the mini game.

Hint: Island of the Sisters of Fate: Trap:
When you arrive on the island of the Sisters of Fate
there is a trap system after the hanging skeletons room. To keep
the first door from shut-in on the lower level there is a body
near the two red chests. Pick up the body and set it on the trigger
to keep the door open.
Kratos.
Hint: Temple Of Euryale: Escaping from
the circular room:
Pull the lever and open up the wall on the right. Go
inside and hit the back wall a few times until it breaks. Leave
the body for now and go to the other side. Jump over the spikes
and break down the wall as well. Go back to the other side again.
Pick up the body and put it in the river. Run across to the other
side and stand in the river. The body will float by. Catch it
then place it on the switch. Stand on the other switch then roll
under the gate to leave.
triceratops bicycle.
Hint: Temple Of Euryale: Argo's Revenge
for invincibility to attacks:
When in combat with Euryale, in the first and second
parts of the fight all of her attacks can be blocked except for
one. She does a two fold attack where she will lie on the ground
and curl herself up and sweep her tail at Kratos. She will then
bring her tail up and slam it down on Kratos. The first sweep
can be blocked, but the slam cannot. However, if Kratos can successfully
parry the sweep by holding L1 (you will see the slow-motion
parry move, and the shriek sound effect of a successful parry),
then while holding L1 press Square. Kratos will
perform "Argo's Revenge". Kratos will be on fire and
will drive his Athena's Blades into the floor, causing a burst
of flames to shoot up from it. Performing this move in a crowd
sends nearby minions flying in the air, but it does not appear
to hurt Euryale because she does not appear to reel in pain. However,
performing this move does make you invincible the entire time
Kratos is on fire, so when Euryale performs her tail slam, Kratos
is unaffected.
John Bouras.
Hint: Protecting the Translator:
This trick is especially useful under the God or Titan
difficulty settings. During the part where you must protect the
Translator from the three waves of enemies, you can do it a little
bit easier. For the first two wave of enemies ( the waves before
the part when Kratos drops the Translator and kneels beside the
book), you can hide behind the cage and hit the enemies taking
minor or no damage. Once you grab him and walk out the cage for
the first time, there will be an intermission sequence that releases
the first set of enemies. Go back in the cage and pull the boulder
off the switch. From there use the hammer's L1 attack in
the air, or L1 + Triangle to hit enemies with the
hammer's attack wave. Once the first set of enemies is over, walk
towards the middle to activate the second set. Take your time.
As soon as you see the enemies pop up, run back behind the cage
and pull the stone off again. Repeat the same process and you
should be able to avoid getting hit.
Mace Casas.
Note: Use the following trick to protect the first Translator.
For the first two waves use the gate trick. The second wave of
enemies may be able to hit you through the gate, so stay back
while using the hammer. Jump and press L1. On the third
wave, focus on killing all the enemies but do not worry about
the high priests. When the enemies stop appearing, kill the high
priest and two more will appear. Use about five or six Cronos
Orbs and both of them should die. If you hit an enemy it should
come for you and not the Translator.
Bahamut102392.
Hint: Using the Golden Fleece:
After you get the Golden Fleece from the Cursed Cerberus
you can use it to block and reflect enemy attacks by pressing
L1 at the precise moment. However, if you continually press
L1 as fast as possible, you will block and return almost
every attack.
brandon mizera.
Hint: Defeating the Cyclops:
When fighting the Cyclops with the enemy on its back,
press Circle. It will give you a command to rotate the
Left Analog-stick. Successful completion of this will get
the enemy off the Cyclops's back and make it easier to kill the
Cyclops.
Scott OMalley.
Hint: Defeating Theasus:
Use the following trick during the second part of the
fight with Theasus. When he is on the roof and summons creatures
to attack you , lead them around until he summons up ice pillars.
Then, roll to avoid them but make sure the beasts get caught underneath
when the ice pillars are summoned. By doing this they will get
hurt and eventually killed.
Amoresperes20.
Use the following trick during the second part of the battle.
when Theasus summons the beasts. Try to attack them while they
are being summoned. Whichever beast you pick, try to stay with
it, while the other beast moves toward you. Theasus should summon
the icebergs. Stay on the same beast. With some luck, the other
beast may get hit by one of the icebergs. Alternately, trap the
beasts on the side of the building and go with them to summon
the icebergs. When they start to summon quickly, roll back. Repeat
this to kill the beasts.
Wndsrjohnson.
Hint: Defeating Zeus:
When fighting with Zeus at the end of the game, to
get some health and magic orbs back, just keep using the Golden
Fleece and deflect every lighting bolt he sends at you. This makes
it a lot easier and you can keep unlimited health if done correctly.
Bruce Allen.
Hint: Defeating multiple enemies:
When fighting against multiple enemies, some can be
grappled with Circle. Most enemies will not attack you
while you are grappling with another. You can clear an entire
area with just Circle.
zysron.
Hint: Maximum hit points:
After retrieving the Urn Of Prometheus, use your Unlimited
Rage Of The Gods and attack enemies until your hit points reach
9999. Once you are at this point, press R1 + R2
to use Titan's Vortex. This can be very helpful when attacking
Bosses and during big ambushes. When you hit a time freeze point,
deactivate the Rage Of The Gods. If you do not do this, you will
lose all hit points.
Ninjaandy95.
Hint: Hidden chests:
When you get the Typhon's Bane, after you kill Prometheus
go up. You will see a cage on a wooden post. Break it with Typhon's
Bane and a platform will come down. Climb on the rope and go up.
You will see a missing bridge and on the left a hanging chain.
Jump on it and go down. From there, jump into the cave. You will
find three chests. Go up the chain. On the right side of the bridge
you will see a way to get up on the wall. Follow it and you will
find another three chests.
Rares Roman.
Hint: Easy orbs:
Immediately after you defeat Euryale you will get infinite
magic to use with your new skill. To complete this part of the
game you must kill five enemies by turning them to stone and shattering
them. However, if you face the rear wall and position yourself
directly in front of the center spawn, you can cast Crones' Rage,
roll right, cast it again, roll back to the left two times, cast
it again, and repeat. You can build up massive combos by doing
this to get lots of orbs. When you get a 2,000 hit combo, break
the combo off (do not cast for about four seconds) and start again.
This will net you over 1,500 souls for each 2,000 hit combo.
noodles teh guy.
To get a lot more red orbs with half the work, upgrade your Blade
Of Olympus to level 2. This only works after you complete the
game. To get more red orbs hold L1 + Circle and
the shield the blade emits will suck in red orbs from live enemies.
When sucked dry, kill them to get more.
Kratos.
In the first level, after the first time you get thrown by the
Colossus you will land in a pool area. Instead of swimming down,
explore the area and look for a wall. Knock down the wall and
you will see some women there. Approach them and complete the
mini-game indicated. This will give you one to two thousand orbs
and can be repeated as many times as desired.
Dave Willey.
In bonus play on any mode, if you found the Urn Of Gaia, give
the Sword Of Olympus the Divine Sacrifice to suck out all the
red orbs. With the urn's help it will give you 10X the amount.
If you get all the red chests you will get 99,999 red orbs.
AJ64.
Hint: Easy Cyclops Eyes:
After unlocking the Arena Of The Fates, just fight
the Cyclops Berserker and take their eyes every time. This is
an easy way to get the twenty eyes required unlock the bonus costume.
Tarot P. Turcato.
When the Bowmen (little penguin-like creatures with axes) call
the Cyclops with their horns, just kill the Cyclops and not the
Bowmen. After you rip out the Cyclops' eye, the Bowmen will call
more Cyclops. You can rip more eyes out. Keep this going until
you get all twenty eyes.
Brandon Knizek.
As soon as you unlock the Arena Of The Fates make three Cyclops
and have them respawn and not attack. You can get twenty eyes
quickly.
chance mulloy.
Hint: Extra god:
After defeating Zeus and go to the time of the Great
War Of The Titans, when Zeus is talking to his brother the gods
of Olympus are there. You can see Helios (god of the sun), Hades
(god of the underworld), Zeus (king of gods), Poseidon (god of
the sea) and an extra god that resembles Caesar.
