Start the game in two player mode. Have player one hold R1 + L2 and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Triangle. Then, have player two hold Triangle + L2 + R2 + X.

Hint: Bunny Hop:
It is possible to bunny hop your dirtbike. While not moving, hold L1 (clutch) + X (gas) + Back. Then, hold R2 or L2 (preload) until the bar is full. Then, release L1 (clutch) and if done correctly, you should take off into the air. Level yourself out and complete the bunnyhop. It may be a little tricky at first, but it is fun to jump on buses and and other things. You can also bunny hop, going slowly (or any time you can pull a wheelie). However, it is easiest when going very slow or staying still.

To unlock the option to choose between 125cc and 250cc, go through the game in career mode until the last level. Once there, acquire first place to unlock the option the change your cc's on your dirtbikes in any mode.

Hint: Whirl-o-flip:
In the first level of two player freestyle mode, go to the back of a small jump. Get lots of speed and do a back flip by pressing Left Analog-stick Away. Try to land on the front of the ramp.

Hint: Backflip on the ground:
To do this trick, you must master the bunny hop (press Preload then press X + Down on the Analog-stick). You have to press X + Down simultaneously and press those buttons about half a second after you press Preload. To do the backflip, just do a bunny hop and spin a backflip while in the air.

Hint: Frontflip on the ground:
This is done almost exactly the same way as the backflip, but you need to be moving. Start riding, then do the bunny hop -- only this time press Square + Up instead of X + Down. Keep holding Up to do a frontflip.

Hint: Bus Jump: Easy way onto roof:
Ride your bike into the "U" shaped part between the buildings (where the two glass tunnels are above). Ride you bike to the end of the tunnel on the right side. Wipe out or bail while in the right corner square. If done correctly you will restart on the roof.

Hint: Bus Jump: Enter the city:
This trick is slightly difficult. If you try to bunny hop the walls around the course, you will find that there are invisible walls above them. However, you can take advantage of a glitch to get around them. Go up on the roof (top level) and go near, but not off, the jumps. Slowly go up the jump on the left side. Stop your bike halfway up the jump. Then, if you are positioned correctly, you can bunny hop over the wall. You need to do a 180 in the air to go over it. When you are in the city, you can see behind all the buildings, the water tower, houses, etc.

Hint: Bus Jump: Baseball stadium:
While playing in freestyle mode, turn northeast and head for the basketball court. On the basketball court, you will see two benches. Notice that there is a little ramp on the bench nearest to the wall. Go to your left slightly and turn around. Then, line your bike towards the first bench and hit the accelerator. Preload immediately before the second bench's ramp to jump higher. If done correctly, you should be on the outside of the baseball stadium. The only thing there is the pitcher's mound and a big ramp to get back on the basketball court.

To get into the baseball stadium easily, you must have mastered the bunny hop. Go near the fence, bunny hop it, and you will be in. You can also go in the dugouts. When you get onto the field, go right until you are in front of the dugout. Stop in front of it, back up so that you are facing it, and bunny hop the fence into the dugout. You have to be the correct distance away from the dugout for this to work.

Hint: Canyon: Lady in a bikini:
Go to the secret location with rocks everywhere. Hit the ramp all the way at the end. If you go fast enough you will see a lady in a bikini sitting in the water.

Hint: Tacoma Freestyle: Slow motion multi-player:
Find the white cement wall. Squeeze or bunny hop between the cracks. Go to the end until you see two ladies in a hot tub. Bunnyhop one player into the hot tub and play in slow motion with the other player.

Hint: Las Vegas: Go under the fence:
When you start in Las Vegas, turn around. You should see a light patch of dirt. Go as fast as you can and power slide under it (R1 + Square). After you get under it, you can go into the desert or look at the skyscrapers.

Hint: Las Vegas: Reverse through wall:
Turn around from your starting area and back into the wall. You will eventually reverse through the wall.

Hint: Las Vegas: Jump into crowd:
In Las Vegas Freestyle, go to the dirt jump on your left, get high speed, and ramp off it at a slight angle towards the crowd with massive air. If you get enough air, you will fly over the invisible wall and into the crowd.

Hint: Las Vegas: 360 while riding:
In Las Vegas Freestyle, you can do a 360 while riding. Get a lot of speed and hold R1 + X + Square + Down/Left. This can be done all most anywhere in the level.

Hint: Las Vegas: Donut on trucks:
In Las Vegas Freesytyle, go over to the trucks and get on top of them. Then, hold R1 + Square + X + Left or Right. Just as you start go left to the white trick, jump and get on the roof. It is easier to do the donut on the roof.

Hint: Vulture Gulch Canyon: Wallride a cliff:
Select freestyle mode. Starting from the trucks and cars, go to the back side of the arch in the level. Back up slightly and get a good running start. You should be able to climb up the side of the mountain. There will be a cliff up there that you can ride on.

Hint: Warehouse level: Secret area:
In the Warehouse in freestyle mode, go on top of the biggest jump. You should see two holes in the wall. They lead to other rooms and levels. To get to one of those levels, go over a large green crate is located (not the area with a lot of green crates, just the one). Go off the left edge of the jump into the corner with a large metal sheet. Bail or just fall when you hit the metal sheet, and it will reset you in a room with a huge quarterpipe, a big tabletop, and two holes in the wall. Note: This does not work every time.

Hit the very big jump at a angle, as if your coming from all the big green containers. If hit correctly, you will fly onto the platform and reach the secret area.

Play in multi-player mode and run out of time. Press Circle or X to taunt.

Glitch: Bus Jump fall:
Go to the Bus Jump freestyle and go to the roof. Ride to the very end and bunny hop over the wall. This may require a few attempts. Once you get over, you will fall down a gap and will keep falling. This gives you time to do tricks that may have had trouble with or the front-and-back game challenge.
