Hint: Easy Tokens:
Edit any team to 100 so that every player is the best
at everything. Then, start a franchise or GM Carrier. Then set
the game to 162 games and customize budget (the team total cap
room). Then, choose the team that you use and set their budget
to the highest. When you have everything set, go to your schedule,
go all the way to end season, and select "Simulate".
This will simulate all your games and the reward will appear.
This will leave you with about 20,000 Tokens. If you do not have
enough, save your profile then shut off the game. Delete your
GM Carrier or Franchise data, then repeat the steps again to buy
everything.

Hint: Easy strikeouts:
Change the pitching type to "Classic". During
game play, go to the "Game Options" menu and change
all their "Take Strike" settings all the way up and
"Take Ball" down. This will give you the easiest way
to get a strikeout. Note: This will not stop the batter from swinging.
He will still swing occasionally.
Brian Tobias.
Throw your fastball nice and low (either side). After that, throw
your change-up right down the middle (do not move the pointer,
just pitch). Finally, choose your curve/slider/sinker at the bottom
right or the top left corners.
Darren C. Sutton.
Hint: Easy base hits:
Put players with a speed rating of A or better (for
example, Rafael Furcal, Carl Crawford, Juan Pierre, etc.) in your
lineup. When the pitcher throws the ball, bunt it down the third
base line and use your speed burst to get to first base. It does
not matter if it is a left or right handed hitter; they will be
safe 99% of the time. You can use A- players, but your success
rate drops to about 90% and you must bunt it perfectly.

Hint: Easy base runners and increased RBIs:
To get the bases loaded and increase your clean-up
hitter's RBI total, use the "Easy base hits" trick.
Once you have a runner on base, make them steal the next base
as your hitter is about to bunt. This will keep your runner from
being thrown out at second or third base on the bunt. Once the
base runners are on second or third base, bunt again to load the
bases. If you want to keep bunting for hits, you can send all
your runners; but be careful -- if the pitcher pitches out or
throws a ball and the batter misses, the runner on third base
will get tagged out.

Hint: Trade for legends:
Go to the options menu, then select "Manage Roster".
Select a player and select "Trade". Then, press L2
or R2 until you find "Legends" You can now trade
for all the legends. However, if you go past them you must do
it all over again.
David Britt.
Hint: Good franchise mode team:
Have a team with starting pitching that has one or
two good pitchers and a bad first basemen or room for a designated
hitter. Trade to get a good prospect or two. After that, simulate
the whole season taking prospects over a B+ rating. After the
season Chris Carpenter will be in the free agents. Always sign
him, Carlos Delgado, and if you need an outfielder Magglio Ordonez.
They will always be available after the season.

Hint: Play at any purchased stadium:
Start an exhibition game with any two teams. You must
assign a controller to one of them. Go to any of the purchased
stadiums (for example, Sportsman Park). You will be able to play
in that stadium with the assigned team, as well as the other ones
you purchased. However, if you leave the teams to be controlled
by the CPU while choosing your teams, the stadiums will be "Locked".
Note: This includes playing with the Classic teams. You will not
be able to continue without assigning a controller to one of them.
Gerard.
Hint: Let CPU play game in purchased stadium:
Follow the steps in the "Play at any purchased
stadium" trick, then enter the "Options" menu when
the game starts. Go to "Choose Sides" and set your controller
assigned team back to CPU. Press Start and select "Yes"
when the message appears, then exit. You can now watch the CPU
play the game.
Gerard.
Hint: Let CPU play a game with cheats activated:
From the main menu, go to "Options" and select
"Cheats". After activating the desired cheats, save
your profile. Start an exhibition game with any two teams. Assign
a controller to one of them. When the game starts, pause and go
to "Options" and select "Cheats". The cheats
you activated should be there. Go to "Choose Sides"
and set your controller team back to CPU. Press Start,
click "Yes", then exit. You can now watch the game with
your cheats enabled.
Gerard.
Glitch: Wrong commentary:
Select a game to be played at Angels Stadium. While
the game is loading and Karl Ravech is going over the pitching
matchups, he sometimes refers to Angels Stadium as Edison Field.
Edison Field changed its name to Angels Stadium in 2004.
Rem.
Glitch: Fenway Park sign:
The "John Hancock" sign in center field in
the actual Fenway Park is replaced with a sign that reads "Visual
Concepts".
