Select "Earn Your Stripes". Enter one of the following case-sensitive first and last names at the driver information screen to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Enter Walmart as a first name and EveryDay as a last name.

Hint: Easy pole position for Daytona and Talladega:
When qualifying for a Daytona or Talladega race, turn off braking assists. This will allow your car to reach maximum speed, resulting in a pole position every time. This works in all race modes.

Glitch: PAL version: Qualifying time not recorded:
In the Earn Your Stripes mode, if you are offered a contract to race in the Nextel Cup at the start, your first race will be at the Daytona 500. However your qualifying time is not recorded so you actually start the race in last place.

Glitch: PAL version: Frozen video:
When you are driving a Nextel Cup at the Texas Infield, the video behind race menu sometimes freezes.

Glitch: Misfit tires:
When racing with the Car of Tomorrow, look in your rear view mirror at the AI cars. The sidewalls of their tires do not appear correctly against their tires making them sticking out the side of the car

Glitch: Misspelling:
In the Earn Your Stripes mode, when your contract finishes with a team, you will receive one of a few end of contract e-mails. On one of these, "results" is spelled incorrectly as "resulst".

Glitch: Wrong pit entry location:
At Michigan International Speedway, there is a glitch where one AI car "pits" for tires and fuel on the backstretch of the track and not in the actual pitlane.

Glitch: AI drives badly:
At Infinion Raceway, the AI cars will often crash into each other bringing out the caution flag. There is also a kerb on the track that sometimes flips the AI cars on to their roofs.
