Hint: Easy wins:
Qualify in the back of the race. Next slam on the brakes then turn around backwards and start driving at full speed. When you reach the other racers, get into a head-on collision. There should be some that spin out and catch on fire. This means that they are eliminated from the race. You are still said to be in last place. Keep doing this until everyone is eliminated. You should still be in last place. However, all you have to do is turn around and finish the race. Note: Set "Damage" to "Limited", "Laps" to "50%", and "AI" to Rookie 8".
Paul Freeman.

Hint: Recommended settings:
Note: If you are playing in career mode, these settings work best with a fully tuned car.
Dave Klein.

Try using the Daytona and Talladega setups for Michigan, but with 48.4% wedge.

Hint: Ramming cars:
Get the car you want ram directly besides. Keep him beside your car on the left side. When you are coming around a corner, press Analog-stick Left to send him straight into the wall. You can also keep him along your left side and wait for the pit entrance get near. Then, press Analog-stick Left to send him into the pits. Some cars can regain control before they go in, so get as close as you can.
CodeBoy1.

Glitch: Immovable car:
Drive the wrong way into the pits and hit the pace car. It will not move.
Neil Brian.

Glitch: Package sponsor:
If a package sponsor's contract spans two seasons, you will not be paid for the primary task (i.e. rank top 5 in points after 12 races). To avoid this, only choose the package sponsors at the start of a new season.
Garr.
