Play as Hoshigake Kisame:
Successfully complete the Kakashi Gaiden story to unlock Hoshigake Kisame in Two Player Vs. mode.

Play as Sasuke:
Successfully complete Story mode two times

Play as Uchiha Itachi:
Successfully complete the Kakashi Gaiden story to unlock Uchiha Itachi in Two Player Vs. mode.

Play as Choji:
Successfully complete Chapter 6.

Play as Gaara:
Successfully complete Chapter 9.

Play as Kakashi:
Successfully complete Chapter 1.

Play as Might Guy:
Successfully complete Chapter 8

Play as Neji:
Successfully complete Chapter 3.

Play as Rock Lee:
Successfully complete Chapter 5.

Play as Sakura:
Successfully complete Chapter 1.

Play as Shikamaru:
Successfully complete Chapter 4.

Kakashi Gaiden story:
Successfully complete all missions, including the "S" rank ones.

"S" rank missions:
Successfully complete the game.

Refill Chakra:
Quickly rotate the Right Analog-stick in a circle during the loading screens. If done enough times, a blue Chakara Ball will appear and refill a small amount of your Chakra. Note: this only happens with loading screens that have the Konoha icon in the bottom right corner.

Hint: Defeating the three bee puppets:
Use the following trick to defeat the three bee puppets without getting hit that much. Run around the area and find two locations where you can jump on some wooden boards that have fallen. There is one that is high enough to hit the bees in the face. Just stay there. The bees will follow you, but will not be able to hurt you as much as they would if you ran around on the ground.

Hint: Defeating Shirogane girl's Giant Puppet Bee in Kigan Hill:
When you fight the Shirogane girl's Giant Puppet Bee, switch to Lee and lock onto the bee. Make sure you have lots of Rations As or Bs. Once you have locked onto the bee, repeatedly use Dynamic Entry and use rations to replenish Chakra when needed. This will kill the bee quickly.

Hint: Easy protection missions:
When you play the missions where you have to protect something or hold off enemies for a certain amount of time just use Shikamaru's Kage Mane no Jutsu. The attack holds off all the opponents you capture and they will not respawn unless you kill them. You can hold them off forever and just wait for time to pass.

Glitch: Invincibility:
Play the stage where you have to escape from the burning building as Garra. Most of the fires will not harm you. You can just run through the burning floors without getting hurt. Also, your sand will prevent puppets from hurting you.
