To unlock Bottlemail, when you have enough items including trees,
plants, skulls, weapons, and mushrooms, go to the large tree located
by the roof of Marona's house. Put a stone on the middle of the
house to make it easier to jump back and forth from the roof to
the tree. Carry an item and throw it on the tree. Keep piling
up items to make a large tower-like object. When you have a very
large pile, climb to the top. If you cannot reach the top, do
to a larger tree that is too large to jump on to reach, make a
smaller tower that will allow you to jump onto the place where
you cannot make it. When you are back on the big pile, jump to
the very top and jump a few times. If nothing happens, you must
make it bigger. To know if something happened, a small screen
will appear stating that you unlocked the character <random
name>. When you go to its status, you will see that it
is Bottlemail. If you add on to the tower and jump to the top,
you can get 300 gold. Gamer.

Hint: Easy experience: Go to Phantom Isle. Talk to Marona and select "Create
Character". Then, cycle through them all. If you see the
title "Failure" or "Ruined", make that character.
It does not matter what level it is. Note: If you do not see any
of those titles, close out of that menu and try again. It may
take a few minutes to find one. After creating said character
with the "Failure" or "Ruined" title, pick
him up and talk to Marona. She will ask if you want to banish
him from the isle. Answer "Yes". The message "You
have acquired the title "Failure/Ruined" will appear.
Speak with your DungeonMonk and create a dungeon with enemies
ridiculously higher than yours, preferably with few in number.
Speak with your Titleist and scroll to the dungeons page. Put
the title "Ruined" or "Failure" on the impossibly
hard dungeon. The monsters in the dungeon will now be weakened
dramatically. You will not get much experience in the battle,
but afterwards in the post-battle screen, you will get a large
amount of experience points. Tony DiMarcantonio.
An easy way to obtain experience for Ash and any other desired
character is to do the following three steps. First, have Ash
pick up a character or weapon. Attack a character or the Unknown
Phantom (Green Whisp) to level up a character. To level up a weapon,
kill the character or Green Whisp until weapon's experience bar
is full, then talk to a Blacksmith and level up the weapon for
1 Mana. Finally, reach the desired level with ASH and weapon or
character. Note: Weapons will gain Mana from killing and characters
will not. Keelokyle13.
Hint: Easy mana: To get easy mana for any weapon at high levels as Ash,
lift the weapon and kill everyone on the island except a healer
or Owl Mage. Revive everyone on the island and check your status.
You should have gained thousands of mana in at least a minute.
Repeat this for more mana. shaka savanah.
Hint: Phantom Island: Kill your own teammates:
Walk up to your teammate and press R2 to attack
them. Press Toward + R2 to grab and throw them.
This is useful for easy experience. CloudStrife71.
Hint: Phantom Island: Unknown Phantom tricks:
Go to the Unknown Phantom at your home (Phantom Island)
and attack him using R2 as stated in another hint. When
you kill him, you obtain experience points and mana. To resurrect
him, talk to Marona, go into create a character, then exit back
out. The Unknown Phantom should be back at his original location,
fully healed. Repeat this as desired. Note: If you pick up an
object (an item or weapon) and hit him with it (for example, killing
him and destroying his body afterwards), the item or weapon will
gain mana. It also might gain experience. Also, if you kill the
Unknown Phantom about twenty times, you will be able to make Whisps
(type of monster). nanaka777us.
Hint: Phantom Island: Change person you
control: To change which person you control on Phantom Island,
pick up a Changebook. You can get one by jumping on top of the
really big tree from Marona's house. Go to whomever you want to
control and press R2 as if you were attacking them. You
can use this with the "Unknown Phantom tricks" for getting
experience or mana. This allows you to level up your Dungeon Monk,
Merchant, Old Man, Old Granny, Healer, etc. without having to
risk them in a battle. You can even control the Unknown Phantom
itself, which means that if you level him up and let the others
hit him after he has been leveled you can get even more experience
or mana for your characters and items. nanaka777us.
Hint: Phantom Island: Extra money: You can find money around Phantom Island by jumping
on certain places. You can find 100 Bordeaux by jumping in the
stone circle in front of the house. There is also some behind
the house at the bottom of the cliff in the water. There is also
some on the roof of your house. Also, on the big tree next to
the house you can find a book called the "Changebook".
It is a very strong book for magic users. It is located on the
edge where you can jump on to from your house". CloudStrife71.
Hint: Better status: Get a good title and put it on a weak dungeon. When
you finish the dungeon, you will get the title back and it will
give better status.
Hint: 100 Dark: To get 100 Dark and Dark Ebouris, use a person and
kill every person on the island. When you get 100 Dark, get in
a battle and do not confine that person. When you came back, they
will get a new title and Dark Ebouris. Also, Ash cannot learn
Dark Ebouris unless you combine him and another person with it.
Echemman.
Hint: Get Dark Eboreus without getting
100 Dark on a character: Note: This trick cannot be done until the final stage.
It is only useful for the extra maps you can do after the game
is completed. Remember that person in the dark armor that is encountered
throughout the game? You will fight him at the end of the game.
You must have a Bottlemail character with a large amount of speed.
Try getting one up to at least level 100 or higher. Then at the
final stage, have someone confined that knows a skill that can
knock whatever an enemy is holding out of their hands. Such skills
include Hurricane Slash from various swords and Starcopter from
the starfish. Make sure your character is fast enough to be able
to act at least once for every turn the man in dark takes, because
he will hit you back and it will hurt. Use the weapon drop skills
and try to knock his weapon out of his hands. If the weapon disappears
when he drops it, restart and try again. If he drops the weapon
and it does not disappear quickly have Marona confine the Bottlemail
character to the weapon. Have the Bottlemail run away whenever
its turn comes up. Three turns later the Bottlemail disappears
and you now have the Shiva weapon and the skill Dark Eboreus,
all without having to kill anyone on your island. Drew Hults.
