For a low price of $500, you can capture all the Pokémon you want! Here's a rundown of how Safari Zone works. When you pay, you can 30 Safari Balls and Bait. 30 Balls may seem a lot, but you'll end up using most of them. You have four areas to explore, each may have a Pokémon that is not in the other. You also have a timer, but it only decreases when you walk. When you run out of time or Balls, the game is over. The battle system in this mini-game works different than a regular battle. Instead of having Pokémon fight, you fight...sort of. In otherwords, you can't cause ANY damage to the enemy, that's why they give you 30 Balls! You have four commands in battle:
Ball x(Amount of Balls) - Throws a Safari Ball. You usually have to throw multiple times to capture a Pokémon. Bait - Throw some Bait. This makes it slightly easier to capture. Throw Rock - Throw a nearby rock. Makes it slightly easier to capture, but the Pokémon tends to run away after you use this. Run - Ummm...pretty much self-explanatory... :)

Here's a trick you can do to fight Pokémon in the Safari Zone outside of it. Enter the Safari Zone, exit and go to the eastern side of Seafoam Islands. Move up and down along the "shore" part to fight Pokémon from the Safari Zone! This makes it easier to capture them. The bad part is that there are some Pokémon that you won't find.
