You can encounter several trainers here. The only new Pokémon to get is Spearow and Jigglypuff. So capture them and keep going until you reach the Pokémon Center. Here is a salesman who will sell you a $500 Magikarp. You don't need to get him now since you fish for him later, but you can if you want. Go right to get to the entrance to Mt. Moon.
