Power-ups:
Rare Candy - Raises a level for a Pokémon.
HP Up - Increases HP.
PP Up - Increases PP.
Protein - Increases Attack.
Iron - Increases Defense.
Carbos - Increases Speed.
Calcium - Increases Special.
Attack - In battle, increases Attack.
Defend - In battle, increases Defense.
Speed - In battle, increases Speed.
Special - In battle, increases Special.
Accuracy - In battle, increases chance of hitting.
Guard Spec. - In battle, the enemy can't use special attack.
Dire Hit - In battle, attacks become more effective.

Field:
Bicycle - Can be obtained for free with a Bike Voucher.
Escape Rope - Moves you out of a cave.
Repel - Decreases enemy ecounter rate for a period of time.
Super Repel - Lasts longer than Repel.
Max Repel - Lasts lomger than Super Repel.

Special:
PokeDex - Records data of Pokémon you have seen and caught.
Town Map - This map shows you the areas in Pokémon.
TM - See "Playing Pokémon".
HM - See "Playing Pokémon".

Badges:
Boulder Badge (Brock: Pewter City) - Power increases a little, lets you use Flash.
Cascade Badge (Misty: Cerulean City) - Pokémon up to L30 will obey you, lets you use Cut.
Thunder Badge (Lt. Surge: Vermilion City) - Speed increases a litte, lets you use Fly.
Rainbow Badge (Erika: Celadon City) - Pokémon up to L50 will obey you, lets you use Strength.
Marsh Badge (Sabrina: Saffron City) - Pokémon up to L70 will obey you.
Soul Badge (Koga: Fuchsia City) - Defense increases a little, lets you use Surf.
Volcano Badge (Blaine: Cinnabar Island) - Special abilities increase a little.
Earth Badge (Giovanni: Viridian City) - ALL Pokémon will obey you.

Nugget - Sells for $5,000! Gold Teeth - Found in Safari Zone.
Owned by the Warden in Fuchsia City.
S.S. Ticket - A ticket for the S.S. Anne.
Poke Doll - A doll that allows you to run away from battle.
Silph Scope - Allows you to identify ghosts in Pokémon Tower.
Poke Flute - Plays a tune that wakes up sleeping Pokémon.
Old Rod - Use it to fish for water Pokémon.
Good Rod - Can catch some water Pokémon that the Old Rod can't.
Super Rod - Can catch water Pokémon that the other Rods can't.
Itemfinder - Allows you to find items you can't see.
EXP. All - Allows Pokémon who don't fight in battle get EXP.
