Press Start to pause game play. Press L
or R to scroll until the "Messages" screen appears.
Press X, Left, A, X. The text "Punch
it Chewie" will appear as the last line in the "Messages"
screen to confirm correct code entry. Press Start to resume
game play, then click the Right Analog-stick to free the
camera. Use the Right Analog-stick to aim the camera, then
use the Left Analog-stick to move in that direction. You
can pass through walls, doors, and other obstacles, and move back
far enough to see entire areas.
Alternate ending sequence:
Reach the final battle with Darth Malak, but do not
open the door yet. Press L + R + Y on controllers
one and four.
Change voice tempo:
Hold Black or White on controller four
during game play to increase or decrease the speed of the voice
and Jonathan Dumaine.
Hint: Bastila's underwear:
Equip Dark Jedi robes on Bastila. Remove them to see
Hint: Custom underwear:
When you go completely to the Light or Dark side, your
character will get custom underwear emblazoned with the Light
side or Dark side logo. By unequipping any armor your character
is using, you can see your custom Force underwear.
Hint: Defeating Dark Jedi:
When you level up, you can choose a new Force ability.
Choose Force Resistance, and the next one after that. When you
know you are about to fight a Dark Jedi, cast Force Resistance
and their Force powers cannot hurt you.
Force Breach and Force Resistance and good for dealing with other
powerful Jedi. Make these the first thing you use in those battles.
Focus on these as you power up your character.
Hint: Defeating droids with energy shields:
To easily defeat droids with an energy shield, use
the Disable Droid or Destroy Droid Force power to do a considerable
amount of damage. However, if the droids do not have an energy
shield and you do not wish to engage in close quarter combat,
simply equip one or two lightsabers to deflect the gunfire. If
you cannot equip a lightsaber, use an Ion Blaster or Ion Rifle.
Hint: Defeating groups of enemies:
When you become a Jedi, take Force Push to the third
level (Force Wave) and choose Consular as your Jedi class. Most
normal battles become easy. Consulars receive bonuses to their
Force powers and saving throws against them. The Sith Mask helps,
but you need Heavy Armor ability to wear it.
Hint: Defeating Terentaks:
When going up against a Terentak or two, make sure
someone in your party can yse stealth, and at least one other
person has the Insanity Jedi power. Enable the stealth and begin
lay mines in a clump or a path. Once done, get out of the Terentak's
range of vision and the blast radius of the mines, and uncloak.
Then, throw some type of grenade at it and allow it to approach.
If done correctly, it should cross all the mines and knock its
health down quite a bit. Note: The Terentak can not be concussioned;
do not waste any mines that cause concussion such as flash mines.
Once all the mines have exploded, use Insanity on it. It will
be unable to attack. You can then use Force Shock, Lightning,
Storm, Drain Life, Death Field, Wound, Choke, Kill, Slow, and
Affliction to whittle its health down. You can also attack it,
and Power Strike works very effectively. Once the Insanity wears
off, use Insanity again to render it harmless again. Repeat this
until all the Terentaks are gone. Note: This is a great way to
take down the two Terentaks during the Final Test on Korriban.
Use the Force power Kill (third level of Wound) on them. They
cannot move and will lose a good number of their HP. If there
are two, use the battle pause and press X to put Kill as
the first command. Then, press R to go to the next one
and press X to set Kill on that one as the next battle
command. Then, alternate between them, press X, and resume
the game. They should die extremely fast with no threat to you.
Note. This works best if you are a Dark Jedi because you gain
a reduction in the cost of Force points to use Kill. This is very
useful in the tomb of Naga Sadow when you have to fight the two
Hint: Dantooine: Ancient Ruins: Defeating
When facing the droids, have a party consisting of
your character, Bastila, and Carth. Everyone should have some
type of sword and use them to attack the droids.
Hint: Dantooine: Ancient Ruins: Ancient
To get past the computers and prevent the guardian
druids from reactivating, use the following answers. Primary death
giving seed world types and those conducive to death: Volcanic,
Desert, Barren. Primary life giving see world types and those
conducive to life: Oceanic, Grassland, Arboreal.
Hint: Dantooine: Courtyard: Cassus Fett's
When you get to the third Jedi trial, you will see
a merchant near where the Kath Hounds first ambush you. Talk to
the merchant that sells armor and weapons. Ask to see his stock
and you will see Cassus Fett's Armor. It costs 15,000 credits.
Note: You will no longer be able to get the armor after you are
taken prisoner by Saul.
Hint: Dantooine Ebon Hawk: Easy credits:
When you start to do the last Jedi trial on Dantoiine,
go in the Ebon Hawk. Ask the droid, if available, to make Computer
Spikes. Keep asking for more of them. Next, go to Big Z and let
him make Frag Grenades. Then, find the merchant near the Jedi
Academy. He sells expensive and good armor. Sell those Frag Grenades
and Computer Spikes, then repeat for as many credits as desired.
Note: You can only have about ten or eleven of anything the crew
makes at a time. You also have to ask for them one at a time.
Hint: Dantooine Grove: Keep Juhani while
playing a Dark character:
If you are playing a Dark side character, when you
defeat Juhani do not fight her again. Instead, say that she can
come back to the Light side. She will join your team and be helpful
in later missions. You can make up for the gained Light points
gained by getting Dark points in the Sandral-Matale Feud quest.
Hint: Dantooine Grove: Mandalorian leader:
Outside the Jedi Academy you will be approached by
a man named Jon who will ask you to kill the Mandalorians raiding
to the South. There are several rather obvious groups of Mandalorians
on the southern maps, but the leader will not appear until after
you have killed all of the advance party. After you have killed
all the Mandalorian raiding parties, the leader will appear in
the Sacred Grove (near where you rescued Juhani). Be careful;
the leader fights with two lightsabers.
Hint: Dantooine Matale Estate: Increase
When doing the Sandral-Matale Feud quest, go to the
Sandral home first when you have permission to investigate the
disappearance of Shen Matale from the Jedi Council. Take the necessary
steps to enter the home. After questioning Nurik Sandral, he will
depart to the back of his home. Get to the point where you can
deny Rahasia. You can go to the Matale's home and speak with him.
If you select all the bottom answers, his last question will be
for you to ask 2,000 credits for finding Shen. By selecting all
the bottom answers, you have earned yourself a Dark side point.
Talk to the droid again and Ahlan Matale returns outside with
the same line of questioning. Repeat this to accumulate as many
Dark points as desired.
Hint: Dantooine Sandral Estate: Increase
When doing the Sandral-Matale Feud quest, go to the
Sandral home first when you have permission to investigate the
disappearance of Shen Matale from the Jedi Council. Take the necessary
steps to enter the home. After questioning Nurik Sandral, he will
depart to the back of his home. That is when Rahasia Sandral shows
up and asks you for help. If you deny helping her free Shen, she
will be upset. After denying her, go back to her and select "Apologize".
After you apologize to her, she will continue with what help she
needs, but deny her quickly instead of hearing her story. The
apology earns you a Light side point. You can repeat this as many
times as desired in order to accumulate high Light status.
Hint: Dantooine Sandral Estate: Crystal
During your Jedi training you are told there are Force
crystals present in a cave on Dantooine. However, none of the
Jedi will tell you its location. The Dantooine Crystal Cave is
in the far east corner of the "Sandral Grounds". The
location of the cave will not show up on your map (or mini-map)
until you have actually entered the cave. Inside the cave are
several Kinrath that must be killed. They resemble large praying
mantis and have stingers like scorpions. The Kinrath stingers
use a very strong poison. You can use the Force "Cure"
to restore your HP until you have recovered from the poison, or
use an antidote kit. Note: The antidote kit is not available on
Dantooine; you must return here after getting one on another planet.
In the rear of the cave are several crystal formations and at
least a dozen Kinrath eggs. Many of the eggs also contain Force
crystals. Break them all open. During one run in the cave, it
is possible to retrieve ten Red crystals, two Rubat crystals,
one Bondar crystal, one Green crystal, one Yellow crystal, and
one Blue crystal. There are more than enough crystals in this
single cave to equip all your Jedi with powerful lightsabers.
There is also a dead Mandalorian in the crystal cave. He has several
armor and weapon upgrades in his inventory.
Hint: Dantooine: Star Map Room:
The dead Jedi in the Star Map room has a Sigil Force
crystal in his inventory.
Hint: Dantooine: Protection from Kath Hounds:
Whenever facing any type of Kath Hound, equip some
kind of self shield to your arm and activate .It this will cause
every blow from the Kath Hound to do less damage.
Hint: Dantooine: Stowaway:
As soon as you leave Dantooine, there will be a girl
stowaway in your cargo hold. Big Z will mention something about
missing food. If you walk around your ship, you will hear footsteps.
Go to the cargo hold when instructed to find the girl. Return
to Dantooine and talk to the Tw'liek near the tree. He will mention
a missing girl. Convince the girl to out to meet the man. If she
agrees, you will receive a Light side point.
Hint: Dantooine: Master Zhar's first test:

Hint: Ebon Hawk: Increase Dark alignment:
After finding the stowaway on the Ebon Hawk after landing
on the first planet you land on after Dantooine, select the "Get
out of here, whoever you are! Right now!" option. Talk to
her before she leaves to catch her again. Choose that dialog option
again. Repeat this to increase your Dark alignment.
Hint: Ebon Hawk: Easy credits:
You must have Jolee Bindo, Zaalbar, and T3-M4. Have
Jolee make Medpacks, T3-M4 make Programming Spikes, and Zaalbar
make grenades. Then, sell those items.
Hint: Ebon Hawk: Mysterious Box:
On board the Ebon Hawk, there is a Mysterious Box in
one of the rooms. If you choose to enter the box, you will have
to talk to an alien who has been trapped in the box for some time
and he challenges you to a battle of riddles. He promises that
if you win, he can get you out of the box, but if he wins, you
must be trapped in the box while he goes free. You will have to
take turns asking riddles. you must answer four of his riddles
and he will not be able to answer your fourth question. The answers
to his riddles are as follows:

Hint: Kashyyk: Increase Light or Dark alignment:
When speaking to the hologram on Kashyyk, you have
the opportunity to earn both Dark and Light side points. You should
answer the questions like a certain person, but there is an opportunity
to comment about how you really feel and create a shift.
After you get the mysterious box (by selling the Spice in the
Ebon Hawk's cargo hold), look for it in the cargo hold and activate
it. You can still sell it to the Hutt afterwards. Save the game
before opening the box. Now, find out what is inside for yourself.
Hint: Kashyyk: Avoid answering questions:
Go to every planet and find the Star Maps on each one
but Kashyyyk. Then, go there and you will be captured by Saul.
After you escape from the Leviathan you will return to Kashyyyk.
You must now help Chuundar and find the Star Maps. The droid will
recognize you, and you will not have to answer any questions.
Hint: Korriban: Cassus Fett's Blaster Pistol:
Go to Korriban and talk to the merchant behind the
desk near where you meet Lashowe. Ask to see his stock to find
Fett's Heavy Blaster pistol. This pistol will be available at
Hint: Korriban: Dustil Onasi side quest:
During your progress through the game, talk to Carth.
Continue talking to him until he mentions how his wife and son
were killed on his home planet. After he is finished, go to Kashyyk
and have Carth in your party. Follow the path that leads from
the Space Port to outside the Czerka Corporation office and continue
walking. An intermission sequence will occur where someone who
knows Carth will recognize and talk to him. The man will mention
that Carth's son Dustil is alive and has joined the Sith on Korriban.
Go to Korriban. Once you are inside the Sith Academy, look for
Dustil. He is in one of those rooms in the area where Master Yuthara
is found. Carth will start talking to him, and Dustil will say
that the Sith are his family. Try to convince him that the Sith
are evil and he will ask for proof. Go to the west end on the
map. You will see the door to Master Ulthar's room. Use your Security
skill to open the door. Collect the items from the footlockers.
You will get a Datapad that proves the Sith killed Dustil's friend
because she was slowing his progress. Show the Datapad to Dustil
and he will leave the Sith. You will gain experience points for
finishing the side quest.
Hint: Korriban: Turning Yuthara Ban to
the Light side:
To get Yuthara Ban to turn to the Light side you must
visit Korriban before Dantooine is blown up.
Hint: Korriban: Finding the lost children:
The lost children are located in the Shyrak Cave. After
you defeat the Terentak, go up and to the right. Keep going until
you see a lit fire. An intermission sequence begins and one of
the lost Sith will talk to you. Then, if you are on the Light
side, convince them that there must be some other option. If you
are on the Dark side, then kill them or do another evil option.
Hint: Korriban: Sith Assassin Droid activation:
When in the Valley Of The Dark Lords, the first tomb
on the left has a Sith Assassin Droid. When you enter the tomb,
there will be a corpse with a Sound Dampening Stealth unit. Equip
it, and fight your way up the tomb. When you reach the door at
the top, the assassin droid will not attack you, and he will allow
you to fix him. The following is the order in which you should
disable his systems:
1. Combat Matrix
2. Motor Functions
5. Cognitive Systems
6. Emotional Construct
7. Creative Simulation
Hint: Korriban: Entering the Sith Academy:
Talk to the Sith Soldier guarding the Sith Academy
on Korriban to learn that Yuthra Ban is at the bar and is accepting
students for the academy, At this point there are two ways of
trying to enter the base. The first is trying to persuade Yun
to allow you in. However, this requires a high persuasion skill.
The second is a lot quicker and once done, persuading Yun to allow
you inside the academy should be easy. Instead of entering the
bar to talk to Yun, go back to your ship, An intermission sequence
and dialogue showing some Sith graduates trying to start a fight
with you will start. No matter what happens, you will have to
fight them. Defeta them and look at their remains. One of them
will have a Sith Academy Medallion. Pick it up and talk to Yun.

Hint: Korriban Sith Academy: Easy experience:
Enter the Sith Academy. Once there, you will find a
room with slaves. There is a computer terminal inside the room.
Log into the computer and chose "Hack into Sith Data files".
When you do this, you will notice that the option to hack does
not disappear. With the right party member, the cost for the Data
Hack will only be 1 Spike. Each Data Hack will result in 360 experience
points for your group. Note: This was done after all the Sith
Academy quests were completed. Also, you can get unlimited Computer
Spikes on Tatooine.
When inside the Sith Academy, talk to Yuthura Ban and ask her
"I want to know about the code". Then, choose "I
think I got it". Do this repeatedly. Each time you ask her
for code, you will get 125 experience points.
Enter the Sith Academy. Find the room with the slaves. There is
a computer terminal inside the room. Login to the computer and
choose to hack into the Sith data files with T3-M4. Each data
hack should cost 0 spikes if T3-M4's Computer skill is over 30.
Note: Each time you access the computer, it will cost 1 spike
Hint: Korriban: Sith Academy: Easy Dark
Go to where you interrogate the Republic soldier but
turn right. This takes you to a dueling room. Use the computer
to start a fight against a prisoner. Once you kill him you will
gain Dark side points. You can repeat this three times.
Hint: Korriban Sith Academy: Earning prestige
for the Sith Master:
One way to earn prestige for the Sith Master is to
destroy a malfunctioning assault droid. Before you can this, you
must first make your way through a large amount of battle droids.
Once inside you can talk to the assault droid. He tells you information
and how to help him. In helping him, you will get Light side points.
The eight systems you have shut down are as follows: Combat, Motor,
Sensory, Memory, Cognitive, Emotional, Creative, and Core.
In order to earn enough prestige to take the Sith test, you must
persuade Lashowe that you will help her. Find the Jedi Holocron.
When you get it, do not let her leave. After she fights you, get
the Holocron and take it to Master Uthar to try to become a Sith.
You will gain prestige by reciting the Code Of The Sith for Master
Uthar, It is:
Peace is a lie there is only passion
Through passion I gain strength
Through strength I gain power
Through power I gain victory
Through victory my chains are broken
Hint: Korriban Sith Academy: Uthar's footlocker:
Use T3-M4 to break into the Master Uthar's bedroom.
Look in his footlocker to find a mask which gives you extra saber
damage and immunity to mind affecting powers.
Hint: Korriban Sith Academy: Keep all earned
Instead of giving Master Uthar the items you have earned
in the tombs, just kill your competition then tell Master Uthar
that you killed them. He will say that since you are the only
one alive, you win.
Hint: Korriban: Naga Sadow Tomb: Special
cold and fire grenades:
Defeat the two Tarentateks in the temple room, then
pull the lever in the right top corner to unlock two doors, the
one you came in through and the one next to the lever. This second
door leads to pillars with the fire and cold grenades which will
get you across the acid pool. Note: Use the special cold grenade
when corssing it.
Hint: Korriban: Naga Sadow Tomb: Defeating
When finding the Star Map in Naga Sadow, you will encounter
two Tarentateks. To kill them, back yourself into a corner. This
allows you to fight one without the other one being able to attack.
If you have Jedi Speed or any stimulant packages, and a Stealth
Shield, you can do this easily. Activate your Stealth Shield and
walk out in the open to where the left side Tarentatek comes in
range and throw a grenade. When the two run at you, run by them
and hit the switch in the right, then run to the door and let
yourself in. The monsters cannot follow you in here. You can kill
them with distance Force attacks (such as Force Kill) without
them approaching you.
Use Force Speed to get the Tarentateks out of the way so you can
use the lever. Then, go into the room that has the special grenades.
Either equip a blaster or just run up to the doorway to kill the
Tarentateks. They should not attack you.
Run to the corner of the room where the Tarentateks are located.
Try to fend them off and find the lever. Pull the lever to unlock
the door which contains the grenade you need later find the Star
Map. Run to the door, go in, and the Tarentateks will not be able
to follow. You can get very close to them and inflict damage without
them being able to inflict a lot of damage to you. If your health
goes down a lot, simply retreat into the room, heal yourself,
Make sure sure you have the Stealth ability (preferably at high
level; 10 or more). Turn on stealth mode and slowly sneak past
them and pull the lever. This will allow you to open the door.
Go in and get the special grenades. The two Tarentateks still
should not notice you. Remain in stealth mode and sneak back out.
This will take less time than trying to kill them from inside
the room and will also save grenades.
When you enter the room with the Terentaks, run straight for the
lever. Hit it, then go straight for the room. Grab the grenades,
equip and turn on the stealth field generator. The Terentaks will
be in the middle of the room. Sneak around them, then exit the
room. Then, go to the Star Map.
You can defeat the Terentaks with little or no damage taken. When
you enter the room make sure they both spot you. Run around until
you reach the lever in the southeast corner. Pull it, then run
around again to a door which is next to the lever. When you enter
the room the Terentak cannot enter. Shoot at them with your best
blaster and they should both be killed easily. Also while you
are in that room make sure to get the special ice grenade for
the acid pool.
Hint: Korriban Naga Sadow Tomb: Power ring
The four systems must be transferred from the left
pillar to the right pillar. Move the four rings in this order.

Hint: Korriban Naga Sadow Tomb: Defeating
Yuthura and Uthar:
Complete the Naga Sadow's tomb after poisoning Yuthura
and Uthar . When you have defeated the two Terentateks in the
right chamber, get the cold and fire grenade to clear the acid.
When you have the grenades, go to the central chamber where the
acid is located. Throw the cold grenade and freeze the acid. When
you are on the ice, lay about 12 mines of any kind besides flash
and save the game. Get the Sith ceremonial lightsaber and return
to the ice pack. The intermission sequence with Uthar and Yuthura
will start. Kill both Yuthura and Uthar by running to the tomb
door behind you. The mines will explode, killing both of them
while they are still poisoned. Pick up the items, run to Dreshdae,
and fly to the next world.
A simple way to defeat Yuthura Ban and Uthar Wynn on Korriban
is to agree with Yuthura when told to kill her. Then, use the
Dark side Insanity Force power on Uthar. After he is dead, proceed
to tell Yuthura that you planned on killing her anyway. Then,
use the same strategy on Yuthura.
If you are with Yuthura Ban notice that she will start attacking
Uthar Wynn, but not you. Uthar will die easier. Note: You will
still have to fight Yuthura. This makes the battle against Yuthura
Hint: Leviathan: Recommended character:
When you reach the Leviathan and must to choose a character
to stay back and rescue everyone, pick Juhani. She can use her
invisibility to avoid capture. Make sure to equip her lightsaber
with good focusing crystals, as she will keep it instead of being
stripped of all her items and medpacks.
Choose T3-M4, to be your rescuer. This will make the escape easier,
because it will start in the disassembly room where there is a
decommissioned droid and some crates and containers where you
will find repair parts and several other items. You will then
be able to rebuild/repair the droid. Also, re-equip T3 with better
items found in the bins. You can also open the secure doors via
the computer terminal located in one of the rooms. Note: Make
sure that your droid has a high level of both Computer Skill and
Repair Skill, which will allow you to save resources.
Hint: Leviathan: Answers for T3-M4:
If you select the T3-M4 droid to leave behind to later
rescue the rest of your party, you will have to answer three questions
to avoid having the memory chip erased. The answers are:
Question 1: 3
Question 2: 10
Question 3: 11
Hint: Manaan Sith Base: Defeating the Dark
Have the main character as Bastila and Big Z in your
party. Once inside the base, after getting past the water pressure
is a room where you will find Sasha. Next to that room is another
room with a dark Jedi and two fish-like creatures. To defeat the
Dark Jedi, have Bastila throw the lightsabers at her and make
Big Z attack her with two swords. Keep doing this and she will
die quickly. You can take out the other two fish creatures afterwards.
Hint: Manaan Sith Base: Entering training
The only way to get to the training room in the Sith
base is to first go to the Cantina in the city. You will see a
Selkath deep inside the room. Talk to him and he will tell you
about his daughter that has joined the Sith. Agree to help him,
and the door to the training room should be open. Return to the
Sith base and go to the locked door. Once inside, it will look
like a cross-shaped area. Find the door that is marked "Medical".
Go in there first, then the dormitory. Talk to the daughter, then
go to the training room to fight the Dark Jedi.
Hint: Manaan Republic Enclave: Sith encryption

When you enter the embassy to complete the quest for Roland Wann,
talk to the technician in the back room. He will tell you about
the encrypted matrices. Go to the terminal and solve the problems
Afterwards you should have the correct passcard and can now proceed
to find the Sith embassy.
Hint: Manaan: Increase Dark alignment indefinitely:
Accept the mysterious datapad on Tatooine after killing
Calo Nord. Go to Manaan and talk to Hulas in the eastern part
of Athos City, but make sure you first switch everyone out of
your party so that you are alone. He will ask you to assassinate
Lorgal, who is in the Republic Embassy just north of his location.
Hack into the terminal near Lorgal's cell in the Republic Embassy.
Select the option to assassinate Lorgal, but make sure you do
not have enough Computer Spikes to kill him (either sell all your
spikes or deposit them into you storage onboard the Ebon Hawk,
except for three). If done correctly, he should still be alive
and be on the same screen after you select that option. The screen
should say "FAILURE: Not enough spikes" or something
similar. Keep selecting the option to kill him repeatedly until
you are satsified. Log out of the terminal and you will gain Dark
side points, but Lorgal will still be alive. If your not maxed
out on Dark Side points, log back in and keep "killing"
Finish everything needed to be done underwater (get through the
Republic Research Station, past the big shark, and to the Star
Map). When you surface, Roland Wann will meet you just outside
the door. You will converse about what you found out about the
fate of the station. Once you are done talking to him, talk to
him again. He will say something along the lines of needing to
keep your conversation secret. Choose the option that asks him
for a bribe to keep silent. He will more or less ignore you and
you will gain Dark Side points. After that, he will continue to
say the same thing every time you talk to him. Keep trying to
bribe him and you will get a Dark Side point each time.
Hint: Manaan: Genohardan assassination
At some point, you will be given a Datapad on Tatooine
that tells you about someone named Hula looking for you on Manaan.
He wants you to come alone or not at all. If you try to speak
with him with others in your party, he will not talk to you about
the Genohardan. If you come alone, he will talk to you about a
secret bounty hunters guild that only the elite are allowed to
join. If you are trying to remain on the Light side, do not take
up his offer. Instead, politely refuse him and walk away. If you
are playing on the Dark side, take him up on his offer. You will
first have to kill one of two people, on Manaan and Dantooine.
Kill both of them to get rewards. You then have to kill three
others, on Manaan, Kashyyyk, and the Dune Sea of Tatooine. After
you kill all three of them, you will learn that Hulas was actually
having you kill the leaders of the Genohardan, and is now going
to become the leader himself. You can either walk away or challenge
him. If you challenge him, he will want to meet you in the Dune
Sea of Tatooine for a final battle there. Do not go alone. He
will be there with about eight others to help him. Also, be prepared
before you exit the gates to the desert; the battle starts as
soon as you go through. Once you defeat the Genohardan, you get
some nice items and plenty of Darkside points from the assassinations.
Hint: Manaan: Win your own trial:
After you complete what's needed at the Sith base,
the only way out is the elevator to the city. Once you get to
the top, the guards will place you under arrest. You will go to
trial. If you accept the help of the Selkath to defend you, you
will lose and die. If you represent yourself, they will find you
Note: This can be done on the Light side only. If you accept the
missing Selkath mission, go into the Sith Base and find the section
of rooms that you find Shasa in. In one of the rooms is a Datapad
describing the Sith plot to take over Manaan. Use this to convince
Shasa and the other Selkath to reject the Dark side and return
home. When you exit the base, the Selkath will arrest you. Make
sure you are your own arbiter. If you choose the Selkath to represent
you, you will lose and die. Start your trial and show the Selkath
court the Datapad. They will deliberate and find you not guilty.
You will also get experience points for doing so.
Hint: Manaan: Defeating Calo Nord:
After you see the intermission sequence featuring Calo
Nord coming to kill you, go to Maanan. Complete all the tasks
at the underwater station. While you are going to your submarine,
you will find Calo with two thugs with him. Equip a double vibroblade
and attack Calo. Tell you teammates to attack the others and you
will easily kill him. Note: He has 2,000 credits in his remains.
Hint: Manaan: Facing Darth Bandon:
If you choose Manaan as the third planet you visit,
you will fight Darth Bandon in the first hallway in the underwater
base. He appears there after you return from the Star Map. If
you stand in the middle of the door before opening it, the Dark
Jedi that are with him will just stand there, making it a lot
easier to defeat him. Note: They will attack you after Bandon
Hint: Manaan: Easy money:
When you get the Gizka from the alien on Tatooine,
keep them. Do not feed them the Gizka poison. Instead, go to Manaan.
There is a Selkath in the port wanting to open a zoo. He will
ask you if you have any exotic species for sale. You can give
him the Gizkas for a profit.
Hint: Manaan: Duplicate items:
1. Go to the submersible in Manaan. Equip your two other party
members with the items to be duplicated.
2. Go down to the underwater base. Go to any airlock.
3. Unequip all of the equipment from your other two characters.
4. Go through the airlock and come back in.
5. Your other two characters will have "respawned" with
what they were wearing when they came down to the base, thus leaving
you with one set of their equipment in inventory and another equipped
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as desired.
Note: Sometimes they do not respawn with the equipment. If this
happens, re-equip all the items, then go through the airlock and
come back inside. That should fix it.
Instead of doing the "do not respawn fix", you can just
put the items you want duplicated on again, then save the game.
Then, continue with steps 3 and 4. This way, you can duplicate
other items than just the ones your other two characters were
wearing when they came down to the base. You save time by not
having to go out the airlock to reset the respawn.
Hint: Star Forge Command level: Darth Revan's
and Star Forge robes:
When you get onto the Star Forge, you will eventually
run into a hallway with about eight gun turrets. At the end of
the hallway farthest from the turrets is a room with an armor
creator. With a number of Computer Spikes you can create personalized
Jedi armor. If you choose the Dark Side you will caquire Darth
Revan's Robes. If you are on the Light Side, you will acquire
the Star Forge Robes.
When you get to the Star Forge, there is a computer room in one
of the the levels on the right side of the map. If you go in there
and you have decided to reclaim yourself as Darth Revan and are
on the Dark side, you can slice into the computer then go down
to make customized Jedi robes (Darth Revan's). The robes are customized
to benefit your character.
Hint: Star Forge: Droids:
When fighting the droids that keep respawning, slice
the terminals around the hall and choose to overload the generators.
If you do not have enough Computer Spikes to slice the terminals,
go to the door that Malak was behind, and bash it. Note: Press
B to exit combat mode first. There will be one more door
after that. Open it, but make sure that if the droids followed
you in, that you exit combat mode again. They cannot follow you
once you are out.
To stop the Star Forge droids from regenerating, you can either
create your own droid or overload the terminal. If you run out
of spikes, the containers next to every terminal will glow green
as if they have an energy shield. Go to all of them that are glowing.
Open them together and they will have enough spikes to overload
the terminals or create droids.
It is possible to skip past the Star Forge Droids. After you talk
to/convert/kill Bastila on the Star Forge and walk down the room
leading the Malak, a conversation will begin. It ends with Malak
saying the Star Forge itself will destroy you then slamming the
doors in your face. You do not have to fight the droids. Simply
select the door Malak just closed and press Up. The ''Bash"
option will appear. Press A, and after a few hits the door
will open. You can proceed straight to the final battle with Malak.
If you do not have enough spike's to disable the generators to
get to Malak, run to the locked door and bash it open.
Hint: Star Forge: Battling Dark Jedi, Dark
Jedi Apprentices, and Sith Troopers:
If you can, avoid using Force powers to save things
such as Drain Life or Death Field for fighting Malak. Switch to
the easy difficulty setting if desired and change it back later.
Hint: Star Forge Factory: Defeating Malak:
To make the final battle easier, use Drain Life, Death
Field, Shock, Force Lightning, or Force Storm on the captive Jedi
to destroy them. Note: Drain Life and Death Field will restore
you to maximum vitality.
While fighting Malak at the very end of the game, there are "dead
Jedis" around the arena. If you have the power of Death Field
or Drain Life, you can also use these bodies the same way that
Malak does. Target the Jedi and use the Drain Life or Death Field
power. You will have a fresh bar of life, and Malak can no longer
recharge by using the Jedi.
To defeat Darth Malak easily, you can use the Destroy Droid Force
power on the dead Jedi. This way, Malak cannot power up and there
will be only one battle.
Upon entering the room for the finale between yourself and Malak,
unleash as many Force Waves as possible to send the Dark Lord's
vitality points plummeting. After the intermission sequence, he
will attack again. Press B to exit combat mode and target
the captive Jedi with any destructive Force powers in your arsenal.
Kill all of them. There are more on the upper level. After running
around, keeping as far from Malak as possible to restore lost
Force points, unleash a never-ending wave of Force Waves on him.
Even if Malak is not stunned or knocked back, he will still take
damage. About fifteen to twenty Force Waves will be needed to
The easiest way to beat Malak is to run. All close range attacks
end in your death. As soon as he shows you his captured Jedi,
run away. Run to all the "dead" Jedi and finish them
off with a "kill" Force attack. Then, allow Malak to
get close enough for you to attack with "Force Storm."
Hit him once and run. Get far enough away and use the same attack.
Keeping running and hitting until he is dead. He will not attack
you from afar; and you will be safe.
To defeat Malak easily, keep him at a distance unless you are
about level 20. First, set your items to Advance Medpacks, so
that you can use those quickly when needed. Next, run away from
him and exit battle mode. Then, destroy all the captive Jedi so
that Malak cannot heal himself. Keep your distance from Malak
and use the "Throw Lightsaber" feat to kill him easily
without having to fight him one on one. Make sure to have plenty
of Advance Medpaks to keep yourself healed during the fight. Do
not use "Force Heal" if possible to save your Force
powers to throw your lightsaber.
You can defeat Malak faster if you have about 12 Life Support
Packs. Whenever Malak pauses to drain life from one of the Jedi,
save the game. It will return paused, giving you the chance to
use a Life Pack and fight again. Repeat this until he is defeated.
When facing Malak, have Burst Of Speed and as many shields and
stimulants as you can get. When you begin the battle, cast Force
Resistance or Immunity, then fight after he tells you about the
suspended Jedi. When you begin to fight again, use Burst Of Speed
and run around the deck to get far enough away from him to activate
your shield. Then, run more and pump yourself full of stimulants.
Next, drain the life from every Jedi so Malak cannot use them.
Finally, fight Malak. Repeat this if needed for the third bout.
When you obtain Yusani's Energy Shield, save it for the final
confrontation with Malak. It is by far the best energy shield
in the game and you only get it once. When active, it makes you
invulnerable to lightsaber attacks.
If you are a Dark Side character fighting Lord Malak, use Plague
to slow him down and use Force Life Drain or Death Field on the
captive Jedi. Doing so will replenish your health and Force points.
If you are playing on the Light Side and have Throw Lightsaber,
you can replenish your Force points by freeing the captive Jedi
by throwing it at them. Keep running away from Malak, throwing
your lightsaber at him. When you run out of power, throw a lightsaber
at the Jedi to defeat him rather easily.
If you chose to be a Jedi Guardian, run as far away from him as
you can and use the Force Jump to hit him. Run away before he
can hit you back. Repeat this and any of the other strategies
for using the Jedi and he will be incredibly easy to defeat.
Make sure to have two of the following: Master Power Attack, Master
Flurry, or Master Critical Strike. These will benefit you when
having to face him physically. The Force powers that you should
have are Death Field and Force Storm. He will be immune to almost
everything else (except perhaps Force Wave). Use the physical
attacks until he explains the Jedi generators. Then, use your
Force powers to drain the generators for yourself. Then, use your
physical attacks to finally defeat him. When he goes over to a
remaining generator to restore his power, use this time to regain
your own health and boost your powers will Heath Packs and Stimulants.
When facing Malak as a Light side character, fight him to the
point in which he reveals his Life Drain on the dead Jedi surrounding
the room. Then, use Lightsaber Throw to kill the remaining dead
Jedi. You will not gain Dark side points since you are "setting
them free". Each kill will result in you regenerating to
full health. After that, use the run and Medpack technique.
Make sure you have Heal, and Death Field, Lightning or Destroy
Droid. Stock up on Thermal Detonators and Mines (preferably Average
and Deadly Frag and Plasma). When you are in the factory before
you fight, lay down the mines in order from Deadly to Average
to Minor. Have Malak run into the mines. Once you engage the battle
so he runs to the first Jedi, save the game under a new slot then
destroy the Jedi one by one. Then, keep a distance from Malak
and keep throwing Thermal Detonators at him. If your health gets
too low, use Heal or Medipacks or Life Support Packs.
When facing Darth Malak, use Force Breach on the Captive Jedi.
Note: This can only be done after Malak has drained the life of
one of the Captive Jedi. Also, you cannot free a Captive Jedi
when his energy is drained.
Before facing Darth Malak, make sure you have all Force points
and have Life Drain or Death Field and Force Immunity. Also, make
sure you have at least two Verpine Prototype Shields. You can
get those at Korriban after you have received all the Star Maps.
The seller of these shields is in the Korriban Cantina. Before
you walk into the door which Malak is behind, use Force Immunity
and activate the Verpine Prototype Shield. When Malak is done
talking and the fight begins, you may need to activate Force Immunity
again. Fight Malak until he runs and tells you about the captive
Jedi. Once he is done, run around to all the Jedi and use Life
Drain or Death Field. Next, reactivate Force Immunity and the
Verpine Shield. Save the game. Once you have saved, Malak should
be close behind you. Try to stand next to a captive Jedi -- while
you are fighting Malak, when you get him down to low health he
will try to drain life from the Jedi. However, because you already
drained all the Jedis it will do nothing except give you a chance
to get some hits on Malak. When you are fighting him, use a double
bladed lightsaber. It seems to be the most effective weapon against
Malak. Sometimes your Verpine Shield will run out. If this happens,
use Force Push on him. This will give you a chance to reactivate
the shield and keep fighting.
Stand outside the door before you face Malak on the Star Forge.
Repeatedly use Force Wave. When you enter the door, Malak should
either have little or no health remaining.
First, destroy all the captive Jedi. Note: You must have Life
Drain. After doing this, run around the platform. Use Force Lighting
to do this. He will pause for a moment. Throw grenades (start
with Adhesive) to stop him, then use Sonic ,Plasma, and Thermal
Detonators. Repeat this until he dies.
To defeat Darth Malak you will need Saber Throw and Drain Life
or Death Field. After Malak sucks the life out of the first Jedi,
run around and use Drain Life or Death Field on all the other
Jedi. By doing this you will gain health and Darth Malak will
not be able to use them again. After you destroy all the Jedi,
run around and use the Saber Throw power to kill him. Note: Make
sure to get all the Jedi.
When you enter the room, there is a ramp which you can go down
on the left that leads to a dead end. After you defeat him once
and then once more after he steals health from the Jedi, you can
kill the three Jedi on the way down to the ramp. If you defeat
him when he comes down, you will have plenty of time to give yourself
more health from Medpacks etc. and Neural Boosters (enough to
last until the next time he comes down). When you defeat him again,
repeat. He will leave and you can heal yourself.
After he shows you the Jedi and you run around and destroy them
all, you can throw an Adhesive Grenade at him. He will not be
able to move. You can then attack him with Force powers. However,
if you want to stay away from him you can use grenades. Thermal
Detonators work best.
Throughout the game, you should have acquired many Stimulants,
Shields, and Healing Kits. Now is the time to use all of them.
They can actually prove extremely helpful in conjunction with
your force Powers, making it possible to win with Lightsabers,
Vibroblades, Blaster, Bowcatsers, Vulkar Shock Sticks, Gaffi Sticks,
and even your own hands.
Use the mastered Lightsaber Throw. just keep running away from
him and when you have time, throw the lightsaber. keep doing this
until you run out of Force power. Then fight him until he dies.
He already should have taken a lot of damage.
Hint: Taris: Black Vulkar Base: Easier
Swoop Accelerator battle:
If you want to get the Swoop Accelerator from Brejik,
but do not want to fight as much in the room and outside the base
for Light path followers, or in the Hidden Beks Base for Dark
side followers, use the following trick. When first in the room
with the accelerator, say that you will betray Gandon and race
for Brejik. You will now be taken back to the Lower City, with
all the Vulkar guards removed. Then, return into the Vulkar base
and go back down to where the Swoop Accelerator is located. You
will now have only three Vulkars in this room, which makes that
fight slightly easier. However, after that fight, when you gain
the accelerator and you return to the Lower City, you will not
have more enemies to fight along this passage. This allows you
safe access to the Hidden Bek base, which you now also no longer
have to fight through. Go up to where Gandon was loaced and tell
his bodyguard you have the accelerator, cutting out a lot of the
battles. Note: You do not gain Dark side points for doing this.
Hint: Taris: Black Vulkar Base: Increase
There will be a waitress in the Black Vulkar Base.
Talk to her, then threaten to kill her.
There will be a Vulkar who will talk to you after you fight him.
When you go to steal Gadon's Swoop Bike Accelerator, the Vulkars
will negotiate with you. They will tell you to kill Gadon and
race for the Vulkars.
Hint: Taris: Black Vulkar Base: Disabling
Do not go into the room by the secondary control panel.
The turrets inside will kill you with one shot. To destroy them,
find the main panel and deactivate the turrets.
Hint: Taris: Lower City: Bounties:
Go to a hutt named Zax in the Lower City Cantina to
get bounty jobs. After killing a bounty, return to Zax and ask
for the money. He will give you more if you use Persuade successfully.
The bounty victims can be found in the following locations:
Matrik: Lower City, first apartments
Largo: Upper City North apartments
Dia: Upper City South apartments
Selvan: Lower City, second Apartments
Bendak Starkiller: At the Upper City Cantina, Bendak will be in
the Pazaak room. Talk to him and he will tell you to return after
killing all of the duelists in the dueling ring.
Hint: Taris Lower City: Keep Sith Armor:
After obtaining the Sith Armor, transfer it to another
person in your party and equip it. Swap that person out of your
party for another character before getting the Sith papers from
the Hidden Bek leader, Gadon. Note: Whoever you switch out to
must keep it on while going between planets or you will still

Find Mission and get inside the Black Vulker's base.
Go to the room where the prototype swoop racer engine is located.
One of the Black Vulkers will offer to let you join them. Do this
and he will tell you to kill Gadon. Once you are outside the base,
go back inside to that same room. Kill the three bodyguards and
get the prototype engine. Then, go to the Hidden Bek base, but
do not kill Gadon. Tell them that you have the prototype engine
and enter the race. Win the race, and kill Bergek and his people.
You will have Bastila at you hideout. Once there, return to the
Hidden Bek base. You will be able to enter the race again. You
do not have to win it this time. Bastila will be standing there,
Talk to her and you will return to your hideout with an extra
double-bladed lightsaber, Bergek's belt, and his gloves. You can
sell these items or equip them to your allies. You can do this
multiple times and get however many desired.
Hint: Taris Lower City: Easy credits:
After taking the elevator into the lower levels of
the Vulkar base, locate the disabled war droid. It resembles those
used by the Sith. While scrolling through the "Repair"
options, you should see one to program the droid to ram the hanger
bay doors. After doing this, enter through the doors the droid
destroyed. Defeat the guard droid and open the two footlookers
in the room. You will find 2,000 credits inside one.
Hint: Taris: Lower City: Twisted Rancor
In the Lower City apartments, go to the right down
the hall to the second door. Inside this room will be a group
of six holoprojectors. This is a trivia puzzle of sorts, asking
for the order of which bandmembers joined the Twisted Rancor Trio.
The order is as follows:
Loopa (first on the left) : 4
Ujaa (second from the left) : 2
Elinda (third from the left) : 1
Ashana (third from the right) : 6
Fodo (second from the right) : 5
Ujii (first on the right) : 3

Enter the sewers and take the door to your right, go
straight, go through the first door on your right, skip that room
and go straight, go through the first door on your left, go through
the first door on your right, then take a left.
Hint: Taris Sewers: Leave Mission behind:
Use the following trick to use Zaalbar immediately
when you rescue him from the Gammorean slavers. Press Start
before you enter the upper sewers. Keep pressing R until
the "Transit Back" screen appears, then press X.
You will return to your hideout and be healed if you were injured.
Press Start again. You should still be at the "Transit
Back" screen. Press A and the party member selection
screen will appear. Choose Carth and Zaalbar as your two party
members. Then, transit back to the sewers and you can use Zaalbar
and Carth instead of Zaalbar and Mission.
Hint: Taris Sewers: Finding the Rancor:
Go through the first door to your left, then go straight,
go through first door to your right, take a right, go straight,
and take a left.
Hint: Taris Sewers: Defeating the Rancor:
In the room just before the Rancor, you will notice
a dismembered arm. Search the arm, and you will receive an item
(synthesized scent) that is supposed to lure the Rancor. Go into
the Rancor room, approach the corpse pile, and search it. Take
all the items. Search it again, then press X to enter "give"
mode. Put in one frag grenade and one of the synthesized scents
obtained from the dismembered arm. Exit the item screen. The Rancor
will approach the corpse pile, eat it, and explode. This saves
you from fighting, keeps your health, gives you more experience
points, and also saves you four or five grenades.
Take Mission to the doorway. Go into solo mode and use her stealth
ability. Walk to the pile of bones in middle of room. Take the
things in the pile. Access the now empty pile and drop the odor
(obtained in the same area) and one frag grenade in. An intermission
sequence will begin. The monster will approach the pile, eat the
grenade, and die.
Search the severed arm just outside the door to the Rancor's lair
to get three vials of synthesized scent. If you have only one
frag grenade, run carefully to the corpse pile and take all the
items there. If you do not approach the Rancor, he will stay back
and not attack, even though he is shown as an enemy. After looting
the pile, switch to "Give Items". Place one frag grenade
in the pile, then one vial of synthesized scent. You will be treated
to an intermission sequence showing the Rancor's demise, and an
easy 200 experience points.
If you have a few frag grenades, you can easily use them to kill
the Rancor. Walk towards it, and as soon as it highlights as an
enemy, throw a frag grenade. Then, immediately turn and run back
into the doorway you just came from. The Rancor will be unable
to follow you, and after suffering 20 damage, will walk back to
its starting location. Save the game and repeat to kill the Rancor
for 700 experience points. Five or six frag grenades should be
sufficient, especially if you save and reload to ensure that each
grenade does the full 20 damage instead of 10. For added flair,
you can rush in and finish the Rancor off with a melee attack
once it is almost dead. However, you will be killed if your first
Hit it with a poison grenade. After it wears off, give him another.
It will not kill it, but you can finish it off with a frag grenade.

When outside of the room before the Rancor, go into solo mode
with any character. Get close enough to the Rancor to throw a
harmful grenade (not a concussion grenade, etc.) When you throw
your first grenade at the Rancor, run back to the room outside
the Rancor area. Repeat this to eventually defeat the Rancor.
Note: Do not let the Rancor catch up to you and damage you when
you throw your grenade; as soon as you throw it, run away.
Use Mission's stealth and sneak past the Rancor by taking the
very right side, then walk in front of it. Kill both of the guards
at the door, then come back directly in front of the Rancor and
blast him continuously, keeping him occupied. After that, sneak
all your other characters to where Mission is standing.
Save the game when you reach the big room with the Rancor. Then,
run past the Rancor to the other side and open the door. There
are two guards. Take them out first. Your party will not be alive,
but do not worry. Turn around and start throwing Concussion Grenades
at the Rancor. You will kill it quickly. You can then gather your
party and move on.
When you rescue Zaalbar, bring him with you when your getting
past the Rancor. Have Zaalbar get under the Rancor. It will not
be able to reach you. Repeatedly use Critical Hit until it is
Have seven frag grenades. After you get the grenades, stop in
the adjacent hallway with the severed arm. Turn solo mode on and
slowly walk towards the Rancor until the "Enemy Sighted"
message appears. Select the frag grenades, then engage. Your character
will walk another foot then throw the grenade. It is imperative
that you disengage combat and run back in the hallway before the
grenade explodes. If you do not, you could get eaten. It is best
if you disengage and run when the grenade is halfway through the
air. Repeat this process until the Rancor falls. Depending on
damage (10-20), it will require five to seven frag grenades. Be
sure not to use other grenades besides plasma and frag. Plasma
and frag are the only ones that will damage the Rancor. After
the battle, collect whatever items are in the corpse pile then
hack away at the Rancor body until it disappears. Heal your party
and get ready for another battle behind the door where the Rancor
was standing. If you have any leftover grenades, use them on the
guards behind the door, as they will not move in the small space,
and frag grenades will do about 10 damage to them. Climb the ladder
and you will get into the Black Vulkar Base.
Make sure your character is good in Demolition and plenty of mines.
Turn on solo mode and place frag and plasma mines in the room
with the Rancor. Flash and gas mines do not work too well. Get
the Rancor's attention and have it chase you through your minefield
and he will go down. Then, recover the mines that were not detonated.
Hint: Taris Sewers: Bypassing the Rancor:
When you see the Rancor that is facing away from your
team in the large room, take only one of team members and put
the other in the "Apartment". You should only have "yourself"
and Mission Vao. At the entrance of the large room facing the
Rancor (with his back turned), take over Mission. Turn on the
invisible camouflage and move Mission towards the door the Rancor
is facing. Move Mission to the right side of the Rancor where
his right foot is far enough back so she can pass. After moving
past the Rancor, go to the door, open it, and notice two guards.
Toss two plasma grenades at them, then finish them off with Mission's
blaster. Turn around and move fairly close to the Rancor. Open
fire on the Rancor to keep it distracted. Switch to your character
and follow the same route that Mission took. The Rancor will be
too distracted with Mission and will not notice you. Be sure not
to touch the Rancor. Once your character has made it where Mission
is located, toss only frag grenades. It will take between five
to seven of them to kill the Rancor. You will not have enough
frags to kill the Rancor, but you can both move to the door that
the guards where watching and move to the next level. Finish off
the Rancor later and continue on.
Switch to solo mode. Turn on the stealth camouflage. Then, use
Mission to pass the Rancor first. When she reaches the door to
the gang base, equip a blaster and open fire. Then, take the main
character and use their stealth camouflage to also pass the Rancor.
Save the game at the door just before confronting the Rancor.
Walk up until you pinpoint the monster in combat mode. Then, throw
one concussion grenade. If he does not turn around, the grenade
worked. Quickly run for the door to the left or right of the beast.
Note: You will also need to kill two guards.
When you see the Rancor, slowly walk up to it and throw an adhesive
or concussion grenade at it. Then, quickly run in the room and
defeat the Vulkar guards. Make sure you have a lot of medpacs.
Take the Sythesized Odors from the severed arm. Then, walk over
to the corpse pile (no need to sneak). Select "Give Items"
and deposit the odor and one grenade. Walk back to the original
room and watch. The Rancor will smell it, eat it, then explod.
Hint: Taris: Sewers: Easy experience points:
When you get to the sewers, if you find a pack of Rakghouls,
kill them. Transit back to the hideout, then transit back. The
Rakghouls will be there again.

In the Undercity in Taris is a man that has a shop.
He sells Medipacs for 30 credits. Everyone else sells them for

To locate the Rakhgoul Serum, go through the village
gate. Go right and fight some Rakghouls and look for a dead Sith
corpse. There are two dead siths, but only one of them has the
serum. Search the corpse to find the serum, then either return
it to clinic or Zax at Javyar's Cantina.
Hint: Taris Undercity: Finding the journals:
Talk to Rukil and he will ask you to find the journals
of his student or daughter. If you agree and find it (off to the
far left from the gates, surrounded by Rakghouls), he will tell
you to look for the journals of his father and grandfather. Both
of these are in the sewers of the Undercity. When you get to the
sewers, look in every door that you can open. The journals are
far apart from each other. Bring them back to Rukil and he will
read them. He will give them to Gandor, then the entire village
will begin a long journey for the Promised Land.

Go to the location where you meet a gang of looters.
They will tell you to go back. You will then be attacked by Rakghouls.
Slightly farther in that direction, you will find two groups of
the monsters. Fight them. Return back later to that location and
they will be there again. Repeat this to gain experience points.

In the Under City, there is a cage where people with
the Rakhgoul disease ask you to get the cure. Instead, tell them
that you will kill them.

Go to the Upper City Cantina and talk to a hutt named
Ajurr. After a duel, go back to him to collect the credits.

Go to the vendor that is outside of the cantina in
the Upper City. Buy the Echani Ritual Brand or any other melee
weapon that does considerable damage. Start the match with Bendak.
When the fight begins, target him and run along the outer edge
of the arena until you get within a few meters of him. Then, run
towards him in a zigzag motion to avoid getting hit by his blasters
until you are directly next to him. At this point you should have
suffered little or no damage from Bendak. Start hitting him with
everything you have and you should be able to kill him using little
or no medpacs.
Make sure you have the Flurry feat and two swords equipped to
your character. After talking to Brendak, exit the place and go
back in. Talk to the Hutt and he will set up a match. Pause and
save the game. Load the game just saved and hold Up on
the D-pad. When the game is done loading, you should be
standing next to Brendak. Switch to the Flurry attack. and it
should hit him. After you hit him, run away and throw a Poison
Grenade. After the gas clears, run up to him and force him to
draw his sword. Let him chase you until the poison wears off.
Use medpaks when needed. After the poison wears off, let him hit
you. This should stop him from chasing you. Brendak will start
to shoot again. Throw another Poison Grenade and repeat this until
he is defeated.
This trick requires the Echani Fiber Armor and a Mesh Underlay.
Assemble the Underlay in your Echani Armor and it will give you
damage reduction against fire. Bendak only throws plasma grenades;
you will be invincible if you wear it while fighting him. Do not
try to get closer to him than the starting point and you will
be all right.
Be a solider and progress until you pass the military base and
defeat every duelist in the cantina. Talk to Bendak and he will
challenge you. Train in the Undercity until you are at level 8
and get Master Power Attack. Go back to the cantina and talk to
Ajuur. Bendak will throw plasma grenades. Dodge them, then throw
concussion grenades at him until he is dizzy. Use Master Power
Attack on him. Repeat this as many times as possible until he
is dead. Note: He has Master Power Attack, Master Rapid Shot,
Master Power Blast, and Master Sniper Shot.
Hint: Taris Upper City: Two Bendak's Blasters:
When collecting the bounty on Bendak Starkiller's head,
you must kill him in a deathmatch. Then, the Hutt will give you
Bendak's Blaster, which is worth 500 credits. If you want two
Bendak's Blasters, when defeating Twitch, the final duelist, do
not collect the credits for him. Instead, run to Bendak at the
front of the cantina. Get him to set up the deathmatch, then win
it. Talk to the Hutt. He will give you the first blaster. Then,
come back and talk to him again. He will give you the prize, and
another Bendak's Blaster.
Hint: Taris Upper City: Defeating opponents
To defeat strong opponents in the duel ring, such as
Twitch and Brendack Starkiller, get a lot of Medpacs and frag
grenades. At the start, throw a frag grenade and begin to run
from side to side. Keep throwing frag grenades. When your health
gets low, use a medpac and repeat until they are defeated. Note:
If you defeat Brendack Starkiller, you will get his blaster. It
is a good weapon for Carth.
Use the following trick to win all the duels with only a level
2 character. If you are saving your level ups for more Jedi Powers,
you can still defeat all of the duelists on Taris. For Dead-eye,
just use a blaster. For Gerlon 2-Fingers, use your choice of a
blaster or Prototype Vibroblade. Then, progress through the planet
to the point after you break into the Sith base. As you do this,
save mines, grenades, and energy shields. Use your choice of blasters
or swords against Ice next. Then, start the fight with Marl. Do
not engage him when it pauses. Instead, plant a mine (frag recommended)
right where you start. Run forwards so that Marl does not hit
the mine, and intentionally allow him to kill you. Do this repeatedly
until you have five or six mines placed. Then, start the fight.
Use an Adrenal Alacrity to increase your speed. Run around and
lure him over the mines. If they do not kill him, run away, blast
him, run away again, blast him, and repeat. For Twitch, use grenades.
If you can, incapacitate him with either a Cryoban or Stun grenade.
Keep throwing them. Then, take the steps necessary to fight Bendak.
Make sure you have a decent amount of grenades before fighting
him. As soon as the fight starts, use an energy shield and as
many Stims as feasible. Throw grenades at him, and dodge his by
running back and forth. When he hits you, use the shield again.
If you get stunned, he usually does not kill you at that time.
When throwing grenades, use this progression: Plasma, Cryoban,
Hint: Taris Upper City: Defeating the Sith
This trick requires fifteen Minor Plasma Mines. When
you go into the Sith military base and go into the elevator, do
not open the door to the commander's office. Go into solo mode
and place your mines in front of the door. Make sure to move your
characters to the back of the room, then open the door. When the
intermission sequence plays, run backward so that he chases you
and hits the mines. He will die.

In the Upper Cantina, there will be a girl named Sarina.
Talk to her and compliment her and/or agree with everything she
says. She will invite you to a party. It will be at the North
Apartments, at the second door to your left. There will be a backpack
in the corner of the room that contains the Sith uniform.

When in Davik's Estate, make sure you have Canderus
and Bastila in your party. After killing Davik, unequip everything
from Bastila so when you reach Dantooine, instead of having a
single hilt lightsaber you can equip Bastila's double hilt lightsaber.

During your stay on Taris, you will find a locked box
in one of the Upper City apartment rooms. To unlock it, you must
activate the holograms in the correct order. The order is: Enlinda,
Ujaa, Ujii, Loopa, Fodo, Ashana. Open the box to get Echani Light

In the Upper Cantina, there is a girl in the gambling
room who want 20 credits to get a drink. Do not give it to her.

Go to the Hutt that will let you duel. Lose intentionally
then go to the corner to the left of the Hutt. There will be a
container that marked as first aid. You can only get one Medpac
at a time. Then, talk to the Hutt to fight again and lose. Go
back to the container and you can get another Medpac. Repeat this
as many times as desired. Note: If you defeat Twitch, the Medpacs
will stop appearing in the container. Keep losing to Twitch or
anyone before him and return to the container after each loss.

When you first go outside of your apartment, by the
entrance to the Upper City North there will be two Bounty Hunters
that will be harassing a merchant. Save the merchant, then threaten
When you are on the east side of Taris, walk toward the three
drunkards. This will initiate one of the drunkards to insult you.
Pick the last response at the very bottom of the dialogue menu
to start a fight with the drunkards. Before the fight, it will
state that you have gained Dark Force points. Beat the drunkards

Somewhere in Taris is an alien that kids are taunting.
He will ask you to help. If you tell the children to leave him
alone, they will leave after a short conversation. The alien will
thank you. If you offer it a Medpac, you will earn a Light side

If you chose to keep Juhani in your party, you will
be able to complete a side quest. Throughout the game keep talking
to her about what her life was like. She will mention something
about how her father was slain, her mother starved to death, and
how she almost began a slave before the Jedi rescued her. Go to
Tatoonie. When you get to the port exit, a man will talk to you
about how he lived on Juhani's home world and had slain her father;
and how he was the one who wanted to buy her. He will then ask
if he can buy her. Juhani will become very mad. Tell her not to
fall to the Dark side. The man will leave, but continue following
you throughout your stay on Tatooine.

You can find unlimited amounts of Computer Spikes on
Tatooine. Go to where you can purchase droids (near the desert
gate) and you can buy an unlimited supply of Spikes for 250 credits

Look for a woman near the Hunting Lodge that will sell
you a Wraid Plate. Sell it for 500 credits. After that, go out
into the desert and kill all the Wraid and get their skull plates.
Return to the Hunting Lodge and sell them for 32 credits each.

be skilled at Pazaak. You also must have most, if not all, of
your cards be both positive and negative (making it very easy
to win). On Tatooine, go into the Hunting Lodge and save your
game. Play the Pazaak player there. If you lose, reload your game,
and if you win, save your game. Eventually, when you win enough
times he will start playing you for 600 credits per matche. He
never runs out of funds. Depending on how skilled you are, you
can make 600 credits about every two minutes.

Star Map, go to Kashyyyk first. Have Bastila in your party. Go
up the path that leads to the "Great Walkway". A woman
that knows Bastila's mother will approach you. She will tell you
that she was looking for her and she is ill. Bastila will ask
you if you can go to Tantooine and find her. She is in the Cantina
in Anchorhead in the upper right corner. Make sure Malak has not
captured her or she will not be there.
Hint: Tatooine: Snad People Territory:
As you continue through the chapter and first enter
the Sand People Enclave, if you want to make peace and not fight
with them, have HK-47 in your party. Walk into the enclave while
wearing the Sand People Robes. Once you get in, use HK-47 to translate
that you are not a threat. They will take you to your chieftain.
If you bargain with him correctly you will get his Gaffi Stick
and Light Side Points. Note: If you decide to fight the Sand People,
do not use your lightsaber. Instead, use their Gaffi Sticks. For
some reason they deal more damage than the lightsaber against

When you go to the Sand People enclave on Tatooine,
you have to war the Sand People robes. Also, you must walk and
not run. Even if you kill all the Sand People outside the enclave,
you can still get in. Put on the robes and walk to avoid the gun
turrets. You must also have HK-47 in your party to enter.
Hint: Tatooine Sand People Territory: Sell
Sand People clothing:
Equip the Sand People clothing to any character then
change to another type of armor. The clothing you just took off
will now be in a new slot in your inventory. You will now be able
to sell the piece that your character wore. If you have a lot
of them, keep switching your armor between the unworn Sand People
clothing and another armor. They do not sell for much, and they
disappear after you meet with the Sand People. Note: Make sure
that you do not sell all of them, otherwise you will not be able
to enter their enclave.

Sand People clothing:
Once you have acquired several Sand People robes and
equipped them, put them in a new slot. You can take four or five
of them back to your ship and store them in one of then containers.
If you have any extra robes when you are talking to the chieftain
he will take them all and you will not be able to get any more.
Make sure to put some into the Ebon Hawk before you talk to the
Chieftain of the Sand Enclave to keep them.
Hint: Tatooine Dune Sea: Easy experience
After you give the Sand People Chieftain the water
vaporizers, go back to the entrance to the Sand People territory.
The Sand People guarding the entrance will not react to you, unless
you talk to them. The Sand Person to the far left (not the Elite)
will keep respawning after you kill him. You can rack up unlimited
credits by taking his Gaffi Stick each time you kill him. You
also can accumulate unlimited experience by killing him each time.
To level up quickly and early, go to Tatooine and kill the Wraids
for over 2,000 experience points. Leave the area and return then
kill them again. Kill the Sand People who attack you while you
are doing this to get more experience and credits for the Gaffi
Sticks and Wraid Plates. Repeat as many times as desired The Wraids
will respawn in three areas all of the time in the same pattern.
At the entrance to the Sand People territory, there is a large
group of Sand People. Before you go near them, intentionally get
ambushed by a small group (go near the sides of the desert or
near the Wraids). Then, have your party put on their clothing.
Walk close to the Sand People. They will not recognize you until
you try to talk to them. Talk to them one at a time and only that
individual will fight you. More will appear from the sand, but
they also will not fight until you talk to them. This makes it
extremely easy to gain experience and Gaffi Sticks to be sold
at the Czerka office. Note: This was done under the easy difficulty
Hint: Tatooine Dune Sea: Freeing the man
trapped by his droids:
When in the Dune Sea you can find a man trapped by
his droids. To fix them you will need to enter the correct answers.
For the first droid, the answer is "NODES 2 RUNNING NORMAL".
For the second droid, the missing number is "7". For
the third droid, the answer is "120 LARGE PULSE" and
"31-13-12-14 * 23-41-12-14". You will get Light side
points for freeing him.
Hint: Tatooine Krayt Dragon Cave: Defeating
Have a party consisting of Bastila and Carth. Have
Carth equip one or two melee weapons and have your entire party
attack Calo. Note: It helps to have the normal or advanced power
swing to attack him. If you have it, keep doing this and Calo
will probably attack Bastila and Carth instead of your character.
He should die quickly, and his thugs are easy pickings.
When Calo Nord appears after coming out of the dragon's lair,
instead of engaging him, you can run around the slain dragon on
its right side and proceed to the exit of the Eastern Sand Dunes.
Calo will not attack you. Make sure your entire party is with
you when doing this.
Make sure you have a healthy supply of mines (may can be recovered
in the Western Dune Sea) and Thermal Detonator (found on the body
of a Twi'lek in the Western Dune Sea). Complete the Krayt Dragon
quest and save the game. Enter the dragon's cave, acquire the
Star Map, then leave. Pay close attention to where Calo and his
henchmen appear. Load your saved game and place all your mines
approximately where Calo appeared. Enter the cave and acquire
the Star Map again. Leave and watch the intermission sequence.
Calo and his henchmen should already be standing in death row.
While the game is paused, select the Thermal Detonator and aim
it at Calo Nord. Let it fly, then prepare for an all out assault.
Hint: Tatooine: Defeating Sandpeople:
While in the desert, if a group of Sandpeople ambush
you, make sure that your party consists of HK-47, your character,
and Bastila. HK-47 should have the Disrupter rifle. As he shoots
them from afar, have yourself and Bastila attack them with lightsabers.
After you kill them, check their remains for their clothing. If
you wear it, they will not attack you.
Hint: Unknown Planet: Zal Armor:
The Zal armor is one of the best in the game. It is
better than Cassus Fett's Armor, and it is free. On the Unknown
Planet, be peaceful with the Tribe of The One. Kill the Mandalorians
near the Temple. Return to the outside of The One's Base. Turn
left, and talk to the Warmaster. He will lead you to a footlocker.
Inside, you will find the Zal Armor, a thermal damage-preventing
belt, some mines, and some Thermal Detonators. The Zal Armor has
the following stats: Defense Bonus +12, Max Dexterity Bonus +1,
Damage Resist: 25 Sonic, 25 Fire, 25 Cold.
Hint: Unknown Planet: Keep Zaalbar on Dark
If you decided to turn to the Dark Side and you are
returning to the Ebon Hawk with Bastila, you must tell your comrades
at the ship that you have turned back to the Dark Side. To avoid
losing both Mission and Zaalbar, you must have the Dominate Mind
Force power. You can use this to force Zaalbar to kill Mission.
Hint: Unknown Planet: Faster completion:
You can go directly to the enclave of The One, reject
the invitation, and free the prisoner instead of first going to
the Elders and receiving the mission.

Before you leave the planet, make sure that you go
to the workbench and construct your most powerful crystals into
You will find two pillars in the temple. Inside those pillars
are two lightsaber crystals. Get both of them; one is the most
powerful crystal you can get. It has an incredible feat against
the Dark Side.

Puzzle in the lower levels:
Walk in an "H" on the square puzzle to unlock
the door and continue with the rest of the level. Note: Do this
in solo mode so your other party members do not disturb the pattern.
Hint: Unknown Planet: Temple Summit: Alignment
When you are on the Unknown Planet and get to the top
of the Temple, you will find Bastila. She fights you. Fight her
until her stamina is halfway and she will urge you to rejoin the
Dark side. However Jolee and Juhani (if she is in your party)
will urge you to remain with the Light side. Every decision with
the Light and Dark side you have made up until now does not really
matter. Once you choose here, you will be Light or Dark permanently.
Hint: Unknown Planet Temple Summit: Alignment
This trick only takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
Save the game at the temple summit where you meet with Bastila
in the Star Forge system. From here you can go either way to the
Dark or Light side. When having an alignment all the way to the
Dark side, tell Bastila to turn to the Light side among the other
dialogue. Your alignment meter will go all the way back up to
the middle. You can continue the game from here to see the Light
ending, or stay on the Dark side to see the Dark ending.
Hint: Yavin Station: Best lightsaber crystals:
Note: This requires the X-Box Live downloadable content
for Yavin Station. As soon as you can leave Dantooine, go to the
Yavin Station and talk to the Rodian that lives there. You can
buy some powerful items from him, but they are very expensive.
Then return there after you get off of the Leviathan. There will
be a few Trandoshans threatening the Rodian. Get them to leave
and the Rodian will let you see the items he was going to sell
to the Trandoshans. Retirm again after you get the last Star Map
and talk to the Rodian. Several Trandoshans will appear. Kill
all of them. The Rodian will then let you see his most powerful
items. Among some of the best items in the game are two lightsaber
crystals, Heart Of The Guardian and Mantle Of The Force. These
crystals are placed in the color crystal slot on the lightsaber
and boosts the other two crystals. Mantle Of The Force makes a
bright blue blade and Heart Of The Guardian makes a gold blade.
Hint: Yavin Station: Armor:
The owner of the Starbase orbiting Yavin has very-high
quality armor for sale. It is also very expensive, requiring at
least 10,000 credits. The owner of Yavin Base also has a Pazaak
deck for sale if you do not already have one.
Hint: Yavin Station: More credits for items:
To get more credits for your items, sell them on Yavin.
This does not work for all items but does on most items such as
Wraid Plates and the items your crew makes for you.
Hint: Yavin Station: Cheaper items:
If you defeat Suvam Tan enough times (about ten) in
Pazaak you will receive a 20% discount on all of his items.
Hint: Easy battles:
For an easy win against any opponent, target them by
pressing R. Then, start running around in circles. This
can be very helpful if you only have a small amount of health
remaining and need to heal yourself. It can also help in a Jedi
battle, as the enemy will eventually put his or her lightsaber
away, giving you an opportunity to attack.
If you happen to find yourself dying frequently in a battle and
you have plenty of advanced medpacs and other healing items, wait
until the enemy takes off lots of your health. After doing so,
quickly press Start and save the game. Load it again and
your screen should be in the combat "pause" mode, with
the enemy sighted message. Press Start again and go to
your inventory. You can now use as many medpacs or life support
packs as needed, as compared to the normal one per round. This
trick is especially useful when approached by Dark Jedi and you
Use the following strategy in large battles. When you engage a
considerable amount of enemies at one time, press White
to pause game play. You may now switch players by pressing Black
and place commands for the battle in the desired order, and pick
which enemy to fight by cycling with L or R. . Press
X to schedule multiple actions in the bar. Do this for
your entire party and it should be easier to plan who to take
out with which character. When fighting a strong force with accomplices,
take out the weaker forms first so you can later direct everything
Before major battles, use every kind of stimulant you can find,
and put on shields for party members. Do this before opening doors
and triggers that start these battles.
Use Medpacs and Repair Kits during battle, and save healing by
Force power for after battle regenerating.
Use X to stack commands and enable auto pause for each
round in major battles. This allows you time to switch between
characters, and make sure you have the best target. A good example
of stacking would be: Force Wave (or other stunning ability),
followed by Critical Strike (or any power/multiple hit move),
and then followed by a regular attack. Work in a Medpac or Repair
Kit when you are at 50% health (early in battles).
This trick requires the Two-Weapon Fighting feat, Critical Strike
feat, two lightsabers, and two Bondar Crystals. Assemble one Bondar
Crystal in each of the lightsaber and another crystal of your
choice. When you use Critical Strike, the enemy will be stunned
almost 90% of the time. The two Bondar Crystals and Critical Strike
will triple you chances of stunning the enemy.
One of the most useful powers is the powered-up version of Force
Push, which is Force Wave, that can be attained at level 15. It
takes out a large area (10 meter radius) and can deal out some
serious damage at later levels (about 25 per use to multiple enemies).
A useful tactic, especially in enclosed areas, is to have multiple
Jedi characters queue several Force Waves. Select the power multiple
times by pressing X, then repeat with the next character.
When used in rapid succession between three Jedi, no enemy can
stand up to the damage that is dished out.
Hint: Easy experience:
Activate droids before or after battles, you will receive
more experience points just for activating them.
Do quests as they appear, and go back and visit other planets.
There are sometimes new opportunities and chances to battle more
for experience points.
Hint: Unlimited computer spikes, grenades,
and security spikes:
Repeatedly ask the T3-M4 droid to make you programming
spikes (computer spikes) until it denies your request. Go to the
cargo hold on your ship and deposit all of the spikes into one
of the metal boxes or other container. Go back to T3-M4 and repeat.
This also works with Mission and security spikes, and Zaalbar
on grenades. You can also sell these to make some quick credits.
Hint: Unlimited energy shields:
Equip the shields on the arms of your current party
members, then activate them. Resume the game. While activated,
unequip them, then return to the game. The energy shield should
still be active. Repeat this when necessary.
Hint: Conserving computer spikes:
When slicing a computer with Bastila, Carth, Zaalbarr,
Juhani, Jolee or anyone else in your party, instead, choose T3-M4.
He can make you a spike(s) and save you a spike when slicing a
computer or using spikes to do something including spikes. It
is not much, but sometimes you may need that one saved spike,
This works on any kind of computer.
Hint: Restoring health:
Whenever you need to refill your health and Force,
press Start then press the L or R until you
get to the map screen. Press X to transit back to your
safe location for that world. Once there, you will have full Force
power and health for your entire party. Now repeat those steps
to transit back to your original location. Note: This usually
only works when outdoors, and if you leave the area near your
safe spot the transit back will be disabled, forcing you to walk
When you level up, think about where you are in the game. If you
know a big battle is about to happen and you do not need any new
powers, then consider healing yourself, and not leveling up yet.
Whatever experience you get automatically goes to your next level
anyway, and leveling up completely heals you. It is more useful
to do this than to try to heal or use medipacs in the middle of
Hint: Avoiding instant party death situations:
There are some unavoidable situations throughout the
game that make death unavoidable. Use the following trick to make
sure you survive long enough to Medpack a member up and save your
party. When a situation occurs (such as trying to overload a security
panel), hold Down on the D-pad. You will still get
the message that your party has died, but if done correctly you
will be able to walk around with your selected party member at
Hint: Avoid being damaged by mines:
Switch to a character with 1 VP and intentionally walk
over the mine. The mine will detonate and the character will be
KOed. After a few seconds, the character will regain consciousness
with 1 VP. You can use this trick repeatedly with that character.

Hint: Saving credits:
You really do not need to buy anything in the game
under the easy difficulty setting. There are ample power-ups,
weapons, and armor that can be found. However, make sure to buy
the HK-47 droid, as it is a party member. Save your money to advance
yourself, make loans, and to buy the items that do appear anywhere
else. Never ask for rewards, as they always are given. Use Persuasion
to nicely ask for more.
Hint: Swoop racing boost:
If you shift gears on a launch pad, it will give your
swoop a stronger boost.
Hint: Receive less damage from lightsabers:
Whenever facing a Jedi or someone with a blade of any
kind, equip and activate a personal shield to your arm to reduce

Hint: Lightsaber crystals:
There are twenty two different types of crystals that
be used in constructing a lightsaber. A lightsaber can include
only one of any type of focusing crystal. Crystals of the identical
type cannot be combined in the same lightsaber. All of the following
crystals are available in the game, but some of the crystals due
to their rarity some will not spawn during game play (i.e. The
crystals marked "Very Ultra Rare" will not be available
in every game). If you find a Very Ultra Rare crystal, immediately
save the game. The crystal may not be available again, even upon
reload of a previous save. The various crystal varieties, sorted
by their average selling price in local stores and listed with
their scale of rarity are as follows.

it is better to use two single bladed sabers rather
then one double bladed weapon. You will get to use four modifier
crystals instead of two; getting more power for every hit.
Use a double bladed lightsaber with Upari and Sapith crystals
result in both hands that can hit for 25-38 damage with maximum
skill in lightsaber use, melee: lightsaber, Sith Mask, Dark Side
gauntlets, and dueling level 3. This gives a +33 to hit bonus.
The actual damage seen on opponents (43-61 x2 damage) one hit
kills basically everything except for Malak and some Dark Jedi.
In your primary hand, use a lightsaber with the Upari and Sapith
crystals (14/30 +28 to hit) and in your secondary hand yse Bacca's
Blade with full upgrades (13/35 +28 to hit). This has an increased
damage modifier that procs when using "master" attacks.
Hint: Armor recommendation:
One of the best armors in the game is Calo Nord's Battle
Armor. When it is upgraded, it has Defense Bonus 12; Max Dexterity
+1; Damage Resist 10 to Cold, Fire, and Sonic; and Immunity: Critical
Hits, Mind Affecting.
The strongest armor in the game is Cassus Fett's Battle Armor.
It is also the most expensive. This armor is sold by a Rodian
Hint: Jedi robe recommendation:
After you can leave Dantooine the first time, go to
Korriban first. If you play as a Light side character, you can
find and equip Qel Droma's Robe in the cave on the way to the
Valley of the Dark Lords. You can find it on the opposite side
of the stone bridge after you defeat the Terentak. The robe gives
+5 defense, and is the best you can find on your own without making
one at the temple on the Unknown Planet.
Hint: Force Persuade:
Every time your character levels up , you can choose
a new power. Get the two Force Persuade abilities and people will
not be able to resist. Note: Forcing people to do your bidding
will increase your Dark alignment on some objectives.
Any time that you use Force Persuade, you will receive one Dark
The Persuasion ability is very useful and adds options
to the game, and not just in conversations. Give the main character
a lot of persuasion points instead of Dominate Mind so that you
can add other abilities and still have good Persuasion.
Hint: Character development:
Have different characters focus on different abilities.
For example, give the droids high Computer and Repair abilities,
use another character Dark Force powers, another for Stealth,
It is good to make one character power up in defense and saving
throws, set default attack, and use as a "last one standing"
to clean up in the event other characters fall.
Stay away from starting fights if possible. They may end side
Switch characters when there are better suited ones for the job.
Use your computer-skilled character to save Spikes, repair with
less Parts, etc.
Save the game before talking to major characters or events. You
can try out the outcomes before gaining Dark or Light side points
Use the following trick to choose more Force powers. Do not level
up your character until they are a Jedi. Then, level up your character
as many times possible. It is still possible to defeat Bendak
Starkiller and everyone else at level 5.
The Scoundrel class is the best, and you have more skill points
to use. Focus on about four skills and leave about two or three
skill point unuseds. This allows you to have more for when you
can improve your Awareness or other skill instead of spending
it on something you will not use as much, such as Repair or something
similar. This way, your more important skills will always be at
Always become a master at Two Weapon Fighting. This way, you are
better with either two swords, a double bladed saber, or two sabers.
Hint: Hidden names:
When using the random name generator, press it enough
times and you will get character names from the Homestar Runner
cartoons, such as "Homsar" and "Kerreck."
It might take a few tries to find these.
Hint: New Jedi Order book series reference:
If you keep talking to Canderous about his past, he
may mention his strange encounter with a "strange, asteroid-like
ship that shot magma/fire balls before vanishing into Dark Space
outside the galaxy". This is a reference to the New Jedi
Order book series. The creature Canderous saw was most likely
a ancient Yuhzong Vong Coralskipper.
Glitch: Galaxy Droid:
After you escape from the Leviathan, the game may randomly
glitch. Go to the cockpit, and you will find a Galaxy Droid floating
next to the star map. If you select it, it will take you to anywhere
in the game, including the Unknown World and the Star Forge.
Note: After the Galaxy Droid glitch is activated, you can also
find a Swoop Droid in the Swoop hanger on the Ebon Hawk (where
the workbench is located). You can select it, but cannot use it
to travel to locations on the current planet as it always seems
to not have the data for your current area.
To get the Galaxy Droid, you must be quick. After the Leviathan
level, where you defeat Malak make sure you buy HK-47 (5,000 credits
Light side or 2,500 Dark side) on the droid shop on Tatooine.
Then go to the Ebon Hawk and escape at any given time. Speak with
HK-47 and ask him to do a combat mode. When you start the fake
combat and shoot at the other flying things, only use R
and the Left Analog-stick. Tap R as fast as possible.
You must to kill everything. If done correctly, instead of returning
to HK-47, the screen will turn from black and white to color.
If this happens, it will as if you where traveling somewhere and
you will go into hyper space. When it is done loading, everyone
should be in a circle in the main area. Note: Do not got to the
Endar Spire or Starforge. All other locations should work. If
you do this correctly too many times, the option of the combat
simulation will disappear.
After escaping the Leviathan, you will have the option to ask
any of your party members if they trust you. In order to activate
the Galaxy Droid glitch, you should speak to HK-47 in this dialogue
sequence. After the dialogue sequence finishes, locate HK-47 in
the crew quarters and when speaking to him, the option "I
want to start a fighter simulation" will appear. If you select
this, you will engage in a black-and-white combat simulation.
After defeating the enemy fighters, the screen will turn from
black-and-white to color. The Galaxy Droid should now appear in
the cockpit. Note: If you use the Galaxy Droid to travel to Taris
or Dantooine, you will not be able to return to the Ebon Hawk,
making it impossible to complete the game.
Have Candorus in your team when you go to Korriban for the first
time. After you finish this level, when you return to the Ebon
Hawk a Mandolorian named Jagil will stop you and state that he
wants to have it out with Candorus for leaving them for dead during
the Mandolorian Wars. Jagil will be at Tatooine. Go to the Dune
Sea and follow the edge of the Czerka Markers all the way down
until a cinematic with Jagil starts. Back up Candorus and kill
Jagil and the two Rodians accompanying him. After that is done,
use the rapid transit system on the map screen to return to the
Ebon Hawk, then go back to Korriban. When you leave, a squad of
Sith star fighters will attack you, then you will land on Korriban.
If this works, all your party members will be in the main room
with the holo-projecter and the Galaxy Droid will be in the cockpit.
Do not leave to go to Korriban, as it will freeze the game. Note:
During this glitch, Zaalbar will be in a party with you and also
standing around. If you go to the map and the party selection
screen you will see two Zaalbars, one of which is where T3-M4
should be (this was done after Bastila was taken captive). To
get rid of the Galaxy Droid, go to the map screen and select the
rapid transit destination labeled "Return to Ebon Hawk".
It should take you outside the Ebon Hawk in front of the loading
ramp. Enter the Ebon Hawk again and everything should be back
to normal, with the exception of having two Zaalbars.
Glitch: Avoid getting any Dark Side or
Light Side points:
After ending a conversation, save the game then load
it. When you load it, you will not have gained any Dark or Light
Side points. For example, when fighting Bendak Starkiller in the
duel rings on Taris, after the commentary, press Start,
save the game, load it, and you will not have gained any Dark
Glitch: Over level 20 characters:
This trick is very useful to pass difficult areas in
the game. First, you need to gain a new level, but do not level
up yet. After this, progress in the game until you are a Jedi.
Then, go to the options menu and turn off the auto level option
to customize your party member's attributes when they level up.
This step is optional, and you only need it if you want to do
this trick with your party members. When you have done all of
this, go to the character page (where you level up your party)
and select the person you want to level up. You need to have at
least one party member with you, and he or she has to be a Jedi.
Press Black and almost immediately press A. If done
correctly, you will see that your character's picture in the top-left
corner will not correspond to the image in the center of the screen.
Then, select the attributes points, skill points, etc. until you
need to select the Force powers. Now, select a desired Force power
and choose "Accept". You can repeat this trick as many
times as desired. Note: Unfortunately, this trick has only temporary
effects and must be repeated every time the game loads, or you
enter at a new area. Also, all the attributes, skills and Feats
are not valid during game play; you must do a "normal"
level up to make them valid. It is recommended that this trick
only be done in difficult areas, or when you have to fight with
Dark Jedi or Malak. Finally, if you try to level up your main
character or your party members to a very high level (for example,
level 100), the game freezes and you will have to restart.
Glitch: 999 skill points:
When using the "Over level 20 characters"
glitch, apply all the attributes and accept. Then, return to character
mode and you will hear the "level up chime" again. Repeat
this step as many times as desired. Do not exceed level 99. The
trick here is to not actually "level up" with your character,
but to leave them with a level to add. Then, exit and kill more
enemies or complete more quests to get more experience and level
again. You now have two levels to level up. If you have done the
previous mentioned strategy enough times (about 200), when you
level up correctly, you will have 999 skill points to allocate.
This allows you to max every skill possible.
Glitch: Level 3 on all feats without buying
level 1 or 2:
This trick requires that you know the level up pattern
that allows you to have access to more "feat level ups".
Use the "Over level 20 characters" glitch to give your
character the feats leading up to the third and final level of
a desired feat. Then, go through the actual level up process when
it is time to get the third feat. Do a normal level up (making
sure that you have a new feat to add before continuing), and you
should now be able to select the third level of any feat, instead
of having to go through the first and second. This allows you
to master almost every feat before level 12.
Glitch: Double Bendak Blasters:
To get double Bendak Blasters and extra money, go through
the Arena quest and get to Twitch. Defeat Twitch and instead of
talking to the Hutt to get your money, talk to Bendak and get
the Deathmatch. Then, talk to Ajuur and he will talk about bribing
officers and not give you the money. Leave, return, then talk
to Ajuur to fight Bendak. When you kill him, talk to Ajuur again
to get the 700 credits and Bendak Blaster. Talk to him once more
and he will act as if you just defeated Twitch, but a "700
Credits" and "Item(s) Received" message will appear.
Check your items and you will have two Bendak Blasters.
Glitch: Get two Sith uniforms:
On Taris, walk into the North Apartments on the far
right side until you see the Sith members outside the room. Run
away as fast as possible. Go to the Cantina. Talk two the Sith
woman or man and get invited to the party. Then, return to the
Sith members. Kill them and take there uniforms. Leave the building
and return. Then, go to the party. The people will get knocked
out. Go to the chest and grab the uniforms.
Glitch: Two Krayt Dragon Pearls:
When on Tatooine doing the Krayt Dragon mission, complete
it. When talking to the Twi'lek, kill him and take his pearl.
Then, quickly change your target to the dragon and bash it. Check
your inventory and there will be two pearls inside.
Glitch: Duplicating upgrades:
Before proceeding with the duplicating process that
you follow at Hrakert station, make sure you have some powerful
and valuable items such as Cassus Fett's armor, Bacca's Sword,
a Verpine headband and armband. On the Ebon Hawk, use the workbench
to upgrade all items. Place a Krayt Dragon Pearl and other stones
in the desired lightsabers. Upgrade the armor, blades, and blasters.
Load Canderous and Bastila down with everything from implants
to armbands and follow the duplication process. The one thing
done differently is not loading and saving to avoid repetition.
Load down your party, save the game, strip, exit the air lock,
return, strip, and repeat the process as many times as desired.
With enough duplication you should be able to remove the upgrades
and have as many Krayt Dragon Pearls, Mesh Underlays, Scopes,
Vibration Cells, etc. as desired. The armor, gauntlets, blasters,
and blades can be sold for easy credits. You can use the money
to buy spikes and parts from those who have unlimited amounts.
This trick is also useful for buying things that you are not sure
you like, as well as expensive blasters and Pazaak cards.
Glitch: Duplicate Bastilla's lightsaber
and gain extra experience:
To do this trick, you must have with agreed with Gadon
to obtain the Swoop Bike Accelerator. Then, go into the Vulkar
base. When you have the option of agreeing to kill Gadon from
the Black Vulkars, which is found at at the accelerator's location,
which afterwards you will be escorted out. You will then need
to go back into the Black Vulkar base and steal the Prototype
Accelerator. Bring it back to the Beks and agree to race. After
you have raced, won Bastilla, and have returned to the Upper City
with her, put all the items you have collected from the battle
in the foot locker next to the work bench in your hideout each
time you perform this trick, otherwise the duplication of the
items will not work. You can now go back to the Lower City and
tell Gadon's bodyguard that you have the accelerator again. You
will then be able to go to the swoop track again. It will appear
as if Bastilla has just escaped from Brejik. You can then talk
to her and she will act as if you just rescued her. After your
conversation, you will return to your hideout with: Bastilla's
lightsaber, Brejiks Arm Band and Belt, and 525 experience points.
However your game will not be reset. You can repeat this trick
as many times as desired before leaving Taris. Note: There is
no need to reset every time.
Glitch: Duplicate Bastilla's and Brejik's
Before you get the prototype accelerator, agree to
betray Gadon. Go back and kill the Black Vulkars in their hideout,
complete all the duels in the ring to make sure that you have
Bendak's Blaster, then go to the hidden Bek's entrance. Once at
the entrance, use the rapid transit to return to your hideout
then transit back. Make sure that Carth and Mission are equipped
with all your best items and enter the base. Once inside, before
you talk to Zaedra, unequip all the items on the other two. Do
the race, save Bastila, and after you leave your hideout, you
will have double the items, Brejik's items and the double-lightsaber.
You can keep repeating this and sell the items for lots of credits.
Note: Put Brejik's and Bastila's items in the locker in your hideout
to make sure that you can get the double-lightsaber.
Glitch: Duplicating characters:
At the Hidden Bek Base in Lower Taris, perform the
"Duplicate Bastilla's lightsaber and gain extra experience"
trick, however before you talk with Gadon, make sure you have
Bastilla, Zalbaar, Mission, Carth or HK-47 in your party. Make
sure you are in control of that character before you chat with
Gadon. Note: Anything that you have equipped with your characters
that you have duplicated will be received when you defeat them
in battle. For example, if you have a double bladed light saber
equipped to Bastilla, when you battle her in the Hidden Bek Base,
you will receive a double bladed light saber when you defeat her.
Also, to gain Dark Side points, make sure you have a high level
or are heavily equipped, as the clone Bastillas will attack you.
Glitch: Unlimited credits, Lightsaber Crystals,
and Jedi robes:
Talk to Dak Vessar on Korriban near the first tomb
on your left while Juhani is in your party. He will go to the
cantina. Switch Juhani out of your party. Talk to Dak; tell him
that you will not let him leave, then fight him. Save the game
and load it after you have killed him. You can keep doing this
for as long as desired to get credits, a Lightsaber Crystal, and
a Jedi Knight robe each time.
Glitch: Unlimited level ups:
Note: Save the game before attempting this. Follow
the "Over level 20 characters" glitch and set all your
skills/attributes and get to the feats. <ark the one you want
to level 1, then repeat the method and get to level 2. Do the
fake power up (the "Over level 20 characters" method)
until you have your feat at level 2. After that, press B
to play the game. Press Start again and do a normal level
up. Set all your attributes or skills wisely and go to the feats.
Mark the level 3 of the desired feat and accept. Use the same
method on the powers. You will notice that you have one power
Do not use it yet. Go into another area (Ebon Hawk, inside a door,
etc.) then return. You will have the level 3 marked of your feat/power
and your skills and attributes levelled up, even though they are
sometimes not noticeable in the skill page. Then, repeat the first
method until you have all your feats, skills, etc. at the desired
Glitch: Unlimited experience, Gaffi Sticks,
and Sand People Robes:
From Tatooine, enter the Dune Sea. Look to the right
a little bit and you should see a pile of rubble. Move towards
it and you should be attacked by a small group of Sand People.
Search all three of the Dead Sand people to find Sand People Robes.
Then, go behind the Sand Crawler and equip the robes. Note: Make
sure you are the only one in your party. You should now see a
group of cone shaped sand hills. Move towards them and you should
see a group of Sand People. Talk to one of them. It will attack
you and the others will not. Repeat this as many times as desired,
as another will take the defeated Sand Person's place.
Glitch: Keep space suit on in the Leviathan:
First, make sure you have the space suit. Then, go
to where you get on the walkway on the Leviathan that takes you
to the bridge. Go out and to the very end. Go in, but do not turn
on solo mode. Make sure that you go in with enough room to where
you can open the inner door, but first behind you make sure one
of your characters did not cross the first threshold into the
building. Then, open the door. The loading screen should appear.
One of your party members should be next to you, but you still
have three people in your party. Press Black until you
get to the character that did not cross the threshold. Run back
to the other side and open the inner door there. Then, go in and
open the door to the hallways that lead to the elevator but do
not go in. Go back into the walkway and over to the other outer
door. Switch to your main character. Open the door that leads
to the space walkway and go all the way to the other side. None
of the doors will be closed; just walk into the hallways that
lead to the elevator and you will still have the space suit on.
Equip your items and watch yourself fight. Your space suit is
like helpful, armor-wise. Note: By doing this, you will be wearing
the space suit for the rest of the Leviathan. You will finally
lose the armor after first fighting Darth Malak.
Glitch: Use Med-Pack without taking a turn:
In combat, press Start, go to your items menu,
select the character that needs healing, and use a Med-pack. This
also works with stimulants and shields. Note: You still can only
use one in a round, but if you pause game play immediately before
combat you can use as many as you have.
Glitch: Miming lightsaber action:
On Manaan, before you go through the airlock make sure
your lightsaber is equipped. When outside, press Y and
your character will mime out an action of holding their lightsaber.
Glitch: Revive party members:
Activate any action sequence, such as a dialog, trying
to use swoop bikes, etc., or trying to run out of the area. After
the game states that your party members need to be up again, press.
You should see them up and running. Do this any many times as
desired, however only 1 VP is recovered.
Glitch: Repeating Sand Person:
Once you have talked to the guard and you have made
peace with the Chieftain, the Sand People guard will be in a glitched
loop where he takes five to ten steps forward, stops, glitches
back, and restarts. He also cannot be talked to and does not fight
Glitch: Get on elevated land on Dantooine:
Before going into the ruins, transit to and from the
Ebon Hawk. When you get back from the ship, you will be on the
elevated land next to the ruins. This is the only way to get there.
You cannot get down from there, except by transiting back and
you cannot walk very much. Make sure to save the game before trying
Glitch: Escape fighting on Tatooine:
If you are in the Dune Sea or in any other part outside
Anchorhead, you can escape fighting any enemy by going outside
the Czerka Coporation warning posts. The enemy will usually disappear
completely, or just move to a far away location. Note: This does
not always work.
Glitch: Fast slashes (non-attack):
Open a chest while a double lightsaber is equipped.
Just before the inventory screen appears, tap Y repeatedly.
Close the inventory screen and watch your character. His or her
arms will move very fast and will slash his or her weapon around.
Glitch: Malak does not react:
When at the Observation Deck on the Star Forge, save
the game before you reach the end of the walkway leading to Malak.
Continue to play the game and when you die, load from your new
save point. Immediately after you select the save, hold Left
Analog-stick Up. When the game loads, you will end up next
to Malek. He does not engage you, and you are also unable to engage
him. However, you can lay mines all around him, then run back
to the walkway. The intermission sequence will load. The game
will continue and Malek will detonate the mines, which will take
off a good amount of health.

Glitch: Darth Bandon does not react:
To start this glitch you must view the intermission
sequence where Darth Bandon comes in and talks to Lord Malak to
get a mission. Malak tells him to bring Bastilla back alive if
possible. Go to Tatooine to find Bastilla's mother and find the
Holocron. Go to the Dune Sea and into the Kraat dragon cave to
find the pack. Have Canderous and Zaalbar with you. Go into solo
mode by pressing Back when you are outside the cave next
to Calo Nord's old Swoop bike. When in solo mode, go into the
cave get the pack with your main character and remain there. Press
Black and switch to Zaalbar or Canderous (whomever has
demolition skill). You will see Darth Bandon walk up to him and
he will not attack. You can lay mines around him, then turn off
solo mode and switch to the player inside the cave. Walk to Darth
Bandon. He will then become active and attack. The mines will
explode, and may cause the two Dark Jedi to die and Darth Bandon
to be very damaged.
Glitch: No weapon shadow:
Get to a sunny location in the game and angle the view
so that you can see your full shadow. There will be no weapon
shadow. This works for all weapons.
Glitch: Flash slashes:
Press White to pause game play then press Y
as many times as desired. When you resume the game, your character
will flip his or her weapon repeatedly. It looks like they have
frozen, but you can hear the weapons swinging. Note: This does
not work with blasters.
Glitch: Double-bladed sword in one hand
and a lightsaber in the other:
This trick requires two lightsabers and the double-bladed
Wookie War Blade. Equip two single-bladed lightsabers (one in
each hand), then select the main hand (character's left hand).
Equip the double-bladed Wookie War Blade. You get this weapon
in one of the baskets on the Unknown planet. Do not unequip the
lightsaber in the off-hand (character's right hand).
Glitch: Stabbing with the wrong weapon:
Get either a Stun Baton or Vulkar Shock Stick. Find
an enemy and stab him. Pause game play just before you hit and
change to anything else. You will still stab him with the weapon
you used. Note: This does no damage.
Glitch: Items equipped:
In the beginning of the game on the Endar Spire, progress
through until you are near the part where Trask fights the Dark
Jedi. Before that, unequip all his items and you will see that
he is still appears equipped.
Glitch: All Jedi party:
Have the characters you wish to turn into jedi (Carth,
Canderous, Mission, Zaalbar) ready to receive a level up. During
the second phase of Jedi training, Master Vandar will tell you
to take your crystal to build your lightsaber. You will then get
the "Items Received" message, and the game will load
the level up screen for your character. Press Start just
before the auto level up and you will be Jedi class 0. Thus, you
can perform a fake level up (quickly press Black then A)
and transfer the ability to use Force powers and lightsabers to
your party members. To transfer to all four members, simply exchange
the two you were using for the two you were not using. Do not
unpause the game. You can still transfer the Force power, but
not the ability to use a lightsaber. Unpause the game, get your
auto level, and continue, leaving the system unaware that you
have done anything, as it was still loading your abilities into
Glitch: Mission becomes invisible:
If you choose Mission to rescue you on the Leviathan,
she may become invisible during dialogue sequences, causing the
game to freeze. This is likely to happen unless your character
has a high Awareness rating.
Glitch: Duplicate Zaalbar:
If the Galaxy Droid glitch has been activated after
escaping the Leviathan, Zaalbar will take the place of T3-M4 at
the party selection menu, effectively allowing you to select two
Zaalbars. His weapons will also be duplicated. Note: Do not travel
to Taris or Dantooine, as you will never be able to return to
the Ebon Hawk.
Glitch: Bastila in ending sequence:
When playing on the Light side, In the Star Forge when
Bastila asks you to kill her, do so then defeat Malek. When the
celebration sequence begins, Admiral Dodonna gives you the medal,
then the screen backs up and Bastila is there, although you killed
her. Also, Juhani is wearing the Star Forge Robes even if that
is not what she was wearing before Malak's death.
Glitch: Bastila dialogue:
On the Unknown World, follow the Dark side and have
Bastila join you. Avoid having Canderous in the party at the same
time. Throughout the game and she will recite part of the Jedi
code after joining the Sith.
Glitch: Dead Wookie:
If you chose to have Jaraak on Kashyyyk executed, leave
and then go back to Woorwill's house. For a few seconds you
will see Jaraak Note: If he is executed you will gain Dark
After you free Mission's brother and see the reunion,
talk to Mission until she says, "They might kill him! I don't
want him to die; he doesn't deserve that. But I can't just keep
supporting his crazy schemes. Someone has to teach him a lesson!"
Scroll to the bottom of the replies list and it will misspell
"Taris" as "Tais".
