Do not lose any matches during arcade mode. After defeating
your opponent in the eighth match, you will fight Q in the next
round.
Store moves:
When selecting a version to play as, hold Start
and select "Super Turbo". Release Start, then
select Chun-Li, E.Honda, or Vega as your fighter. They now have
the ability to store special moves and super combos. For example,
execute Chun-Li's Senretsukyaku without pressing the final Kick
to end it. The next time you press Kick, the move will
be executed.
Hint: Complete game faster:
To greatly speed up the game completion process, it
is a good idea to switch some of the options. Select the lowest
difficulty, change rounds (single player) to one, and set the
damage to its full four stars.
Roger Lloyd.
Hint: High grades:
A fast and easy way to earn high grades is to first
adjust some of the options. Select the lowest difficulty, change
rounds (single player) to one, and set the damage to its full
four stars. The game is now ready to be completed quickly, and
with lots of perfects. Try choosing a character such as Ken Masters.
As soon as each fight begins, unleash jumping HKs to sweeping
HKs (Down + HK).

The CPU grades on many different aspects during a fight. Some
have more weight over others. A good way to boost your scores
is to end your rounds always using a Super. Try to get as many
combo hit points from it as possible. Finishing with lots of life
remaining also impresses the CPU grading system. During the fight,
parries are great for your score. What is even better is to follow
up your parries with a good solid damaging move/combo/super art.
Throwing out air, standing, and low parries in variation also
benefits your final grade. Red parries are quite valuable as well.
A red parry is similar to a regular parry, only that its a parry
coming out of a block. Thus it can only be used on a multiple
hit move/combo/super art. An example for a red parry situation
would be to block several hits of Ken's Hurricane Kick, and on
the last hit press Forward. If your timing is correct,
your parry should come out red instead of the normal blue. The
remainder of your round should consist of good aggressive game
play with lots of big combos including the occasional EX move,
and fast paced mix ups/cross ups.
Roger Lloyd.
Glitch: CPU vs. Urien :
When you are Urien in arcade mode, shoot out an Aegis
Reflector and walk or dash backwards. The CPU AI follows you,
even though they are walking into the Aegis and taking hits.
